    I'm pretty bummed. I just canceled my registration for the New York Marathon tomorrow. I'm still ailing and my lungs are still full of gunk. On the bright side, I get guaranteed entry next year. But it is my favorite marathon so it's disappointing. Oh well, may I live long enough and be healthy enough to try again next year!

    I am sorry to hear this. But you are a strong woman and as they say, this too shall pass. You will build yourself back up and be stronger for next year. Don't despair, you are awesome!!!

    11/01 - 23.0 miles turbo trainer (kinda out of sorts today)
    11/02 - 23.0 miles turbo trainer (kinda out of sorts today, not a good day)
    11/03 - 23.0 miles turbo trainer (I will be glad when this med change is over)
    11/04 - 23.0 miles turbo trainer (went to my grandson's birthday party, ate way to many sweets)

    Total: 92.0 mles

    More of yesterdays COLD, SNOW & WIND! I do believe our winter is here to stay. Forcast say 0* temps this week! Did 3 on the elliptical & 5 on the ex bike!

    ... after a woeful October (where I literally only managed 1 run/trip to the gym :'( ) I am back! Still recovering from a sore foot - which was part of the reason for my lack of @$$ moving) but hoping to ease myself back in ...

    ... going to try for 30 running miles this month. Managed to start the month off with a slow 3 mile run! That’s more than I managed for the whole of last month so go me!!!

    3rd: 3.5 miles purposeful walking - MTD 13.75
    4th: 2 miles purposeful walking - MTD 15.75
    5th: 13.5 miles, 8.02m running, 5.48m purposeful walking - MTD 29.25

    @JTH11706 - that must be so disappointing for you. But as @anaconda said - you are a strong woman and next year you’ll rock the NYM. In the meantime, get well!

    @vhuber - your weather amazes me. You seem to have gone straight from months of drought to snow!!
