    Today is a great reminder of the difference a day makes. I weigh myself daily because it keeps me honest throughout the week and I understand the daily ups and downs and the whys. However, I occasionally hit a place where I weigh about the same for a number of days (in this case, about a week and a half) and it makes little sense except that my body is doing internal "body" stuff that I don't know about. Anyway, after this current period at almost the exact same weight AND doing nothing particularly different yesterday, I woke up this morning and the number had dropped by a pound! :o:smiley:

    A great reminder to stay the course. Your body, and the scales, will respond accordingly, in time!!! Patience is a virtue in this marathon!! Thanks for sharing!!

    Hi team! Happy to report that I am feeling better and ready to be back in the land of the living.
    The last few days all that has sounded appetizing is carbs.. oatmeal, bagels, toast, etc. so I was not expecting the scale to be friendly, but it was! Nice surprise.

    calories: No :( I feel myself slipping again and I just have to remind myself that I can do it, just find the healthy foods I like and eat more of that, while still allowing myself the treats without going overboard. I definitely also need to get a food scale.
    Exercise: Yes. 30 minutes of stretching for warm up and cool down, and then 20 minutes of combo strength moves that were fast enough to get my heart rate up and sweat to pour.

    Well...exercise hasn't really happened this week. Between watching the Olympics and the 2 assignments I had due for my accounting courses I failed to fit in the time. Next week..Olympics are over next week. ;)

    Bummed...I was under calories a few days this week and never over. I think lack of sleep is affecting my weight loss.

    I have a very bad flue, stepping on the scale seems as difficult as climbing Everest. I have been running every day, but eating more calories. Today I could drink only water, but I don't think I lost anything since last week.
