Yesterday was a terrible day there was a lot of work stress going on. I ended up eating a salad then followed by chocolate. By the time I got home and dinner was over I was so cranky and felt miserable! I also didn't sleep well at all.

The good thing out of all of this is now I think I finally realize how over indulging and stress eating affects me. It is not in a positive way at all. I think this was a lesson I needed to learn in order not to continue to "eat my stress" :). I have the rest of the week to get back on track and plan on doing so starting today.

It also made me realize (and I already knew this) how good I feel with OMAD and all the benefits. I guess it takes us messing up from time to time to finally get it :).

Here's to a great OMAD day for all of you!

I mess up all the time! It is so easy just push through our mistake and make everything better within ourselves. You have this! Looking forward to hearing the rest of the week!

Heh, I feel you. It seems as though my life is one giant mess-up with tiny intermittent successes woven in (just to keep me hopeful.) You have the right attitude though, and all of the tools to turn it around. Here's to finishing strong.^^

Thanks I was back on track yesterday and my cals came in around 800. I felt amazing and know this is working. Like some of you have said, sometimes we are our own worst enemy!
Weigh in is tomorrow, hoping to be down. Even if it is a small loss, at least it will be in the right direction!

    Hey all,

Crazy busy weekend! My youngest got the flu type B the end of last week and he has been so sick. Finally he is better, and luckily it is his spring break week so hopefully he will recover.

My weigh in on Friday was horrible I still at 183.5 No doubt it was the pizza and beer on Thursday night that put me over the edge. Oh well, at least it wasn't a gain. I am sure the carb/salt did me in.

I have accepted it and am moving on. Hoping for an amazing APRIL :)

Poor baby! I hope he recovers fully soon!
And great attitude about your WI - pizza and beer sounds worth it, though :p

    Hey everyone,

Sorry another crazy busy week! But back on track with OMAD which has been awesome since it is something I really feel great about.

So....the weigh in today is as follows:

    2/9/2018 197
    2/16/2018 189.6 -7.4
    2/23/2018 186.6 -10.4
    3/2/2018 184.6 -12.4
    3/9/2018 184.6 -12.4
    3/16/2018 184.2 -12.8
    3/23/2018 183.5 -13.5
    3/30/2018 183.5 -13.5
    4/6/2018 182.4 -14.6

So 1.1 loss for the week! Even though it is small I am still thrilled to get it since I was stuck for a couple of weeks. Hoping to have a bigger loss next week.

    Have a great weekend!

    Donna,

Going low carb does help with controlling the appetite but it also has to be adapted to the individual. I have a very hard time going low carb and will have a major carb binge if I try it too long. I do best just not eating much sugary stuff (I allow beans, whole grains, fruit, milk) but even that I don't completely cut out. That works best for me. Some folks have been able to be very low carb for extended periods and that has worked for them. Just see how you do and I think it is important for anything we try that it doesn't have to be all in or out. We can experiment and find out what works best for us. Good luck!

Bob - great advice. I just don't think I can cut it out all together. My goal with LC is to have a few nights per week as my OMAD meal to be lower carb than normal. I think that will work best for me. I just love my carbs too much, and if I feel I am not getting them I for sure will binge!

Here's to a great week everyone!

    Hi everyone!

Hope you all are doing great. I had a slip up yesterday, involving ice cream :). It was free cone day at Ben and Jerry's and I totally screwed up my fast around 2pm and gave it. The salted caramel blonde brownie cone was totally worth it though. Just hope I feel that way come weigh in day.

I was back on track with dinner, a small sirloin, green beans, and mushrooms/onions. Hopefully the cone didn't do too much damage.

Have a good day! Finally gonna warm up here, maybe 80's by Friday! Totally nice especially on nights we are at the ball field for my youngest son, so tired of wrapping up in blankets to stay warm!

    Stay strong!

Oh man, I forget about free cone day every year! I really love the different flavor combos they create. I will look forward to an occasional cup in maintenance :p
Good for you for getting back on track right away! One cone couldn’t have done any real damage beyond maybe some water weight (unless it was a quadruple scoop, which I am sure they don’t give away for free!).

I have a frozen yogurt cone once or twice a week. Well... heck I have a dessert almost every night. (not lately on my 500 cal nights though) Finding your groove is the main goal. You have this. Just stay the course, no one can always be perfect and still enjoy life.

    Thanks @sammygold2015 @brittdee88

I am pretty sure it was a single cone or kid's cone not too big at all and man was it good!

I have been on the sfree jello kick at night that has done well with my sweet tooth unless it is a baseball night, and my guilty pleasure is a blow pop. For two reasons, they are good, and it also helps me keep my mouth shut especially if my son is pitching :).
