There's a juggling image, but not one of the circus variety! What's the age difference between your two babies? Good for you for not using the excuse that "I have two young children at home" to not exercise!!1 -

Very nicely done, Mel!! I didn't think the scales were going to be that kind to you this week after last week's epic loss!! Thankfully, I was wrong!2 -
Sunday, April 8
Didn't track, stay within calories or exercise.
Monday, April 9
Didn't track or exercise (was out of town for most of the day)
But I did stay within calories. I don't know the exact calories, but I know what I ate. I also took a salad and beverage with me to eat instead of getting fast food. I had a simple dinner planned that I could cook when I got home and I stuck to my small bed time snack last night. The scale rewarded me accordingly this morning.
I've allowed day to day life to start impacting my choices lately. Some quick processed foods slipping back in, it starts impacting my sleep quality which impacts my ability to address normal stresses which impacts cravings.... So, Monday was back to avoiding processed foods and planning meals. Last night, I slept soundly. This morning, the scale was already moving back down and I already feel better. Amazing how that works!4 -

Firstly, great job on Monday, putting "real life" into practice!! You were in no position to log your food, but you used your knowledge of portions and nutrition (gained, in part, by the practice of logging) and the skill of planning ahead, to eat sensibly and stay within a desired calorie limit.
And secondly, good job on connecting the dots and realizing how processed food affects you, personally. The next trick is to remember that everyday! We tend to have selective memories when hunger (or boredom) and processed food meet up at the same time, and then we have to have the "oh, that's why I felt terrible today" light bulb moment all over again!!2 -
