Weigh in week: April Week 1
    Weigh in day: Friday
    Previous Weight: 235.00
    Current Weight: 234.50

0.5lbs loss this week / 0.21% - not great but overall 1lb on in 2 weeks of socialising, eating and drinking and NO GYM over the holidays I am quite happy with that. Push on now back into it fully

Great mindset. You enjoyed your holidays with no damage and a slight loss, now you will go hard for some bigger losses!!

thanks hun! I'm hoping so :)

    mini challenge:

I’ve been tacking and under goal so far for the day. I went to the gym this morning and did 50 min of strength training and 30 min walk on the treadmill. I’m about to head out with the girls. I’m going to try really hard to stay under calories and keep track of what I eat. These events are always the hardest. It’s way easier to put my head in the sand and start again tomorrow.

    4/6: tracked: yes
    Under: nope
    Exercise: yes

I had snacks and wine last night. I kept track of what I had and logged it all. I felt super guilty this morning, so I jumped on the scale to validate my feelings and I was down a pound. I guess the moral of the story is that every now and again you need a night out, and I should be nicer to myself about it.

Yes, you are so right...we should be nicer to ourselves and enjoy those moments that arise where a little indulgence is in order!! Most of us don't have these come up so often that we would be screwed if we indulged every time!! And like you saw on the scale, this one time didn't do any damage!! (Especially if you consider it over the course of a week, and not just the next day, which might show a slight up).

I weighed in at 134.1 from 135! I’m hoping the scale will start to move faster after water weight.

You were away from home over the weekend, and the scales still registered a loss come Sunday morning!! Well done!!! Keep chugging your water and it'll move more!!

    April Week 2
    Previous Weight: 224.2
    Current Weight: 228.6

I did a spectacular nose dive off the wagon this past week. Too much food and too little physical activity. I have avoided this site altogether because I didn't want to see just how far off track I have gotten. The scale kept track, though :(

Now, I am feeling motivated all over again. The final push that got me back on track was catching up with a friend of mine whom I haven't seen in a very long time (she moved across the country). I learned that she is on a healthier lifestyle journey, too! Seeing how great she looks and feels reminded me that I like feeling that way too! I am thankful for this reminder. And still a bit gobsmacked that she re-entered my life at just the right time, showing me what I needed to see.

So here I am, ready to continue pushing forward.

And thank you, @HASWLRS for being such a great captain.

Kay, I don't believe your friend re-entering your life at just the right moment that you needed her to, was a coincidence at all!!! But regardless, I am so pleased that your visit with her has motivated you to get back on track and keep going forward!!!

I love your line..."I didn't want to see how far off track I had gotten. The scale kept track, though." So very true!!! We are only kidding ourselves if we think in any way we can hide what we have been doing, or not doing!!! It will show itself in one way or another. Every. Single. Time.

    Last week: 231.5
    This week: 228.4

Sigh...... I’ve been stuck in this low thirties/ high twenties weight for like a month which is fustrating because I’ve been eating right and working out! The first three moths weight was flying off now I’ve been kinda stagnant.

I did order a food scale, and starting Tuesday, being able to see what I’m actually supposed to be eating will help me with portion sizes. I feel Ike that’s why I’ve been stuck...could be also that my body was used to the workout schedule I had...I do start a new series (gamma focus t25) tomorrow which I hope will kickstart the weight loss...I may have to check macros etc but I’ll be honest that *kitten* is a lot lol! I don’t even know where to start with that not to mention I’m vegan (been vegetarian my whole life).

Ok there’s my rant I hope I didn’t kill the vibe...I’m going to go take some measurements hopefully I’ve shrunk somewhere!

    Happy Sunday everyone!

Welcome to your first plateau!! Your body has gotten used to what you've been doing for the first three months, so changing your exercise routine is an excellent way to shake things up!! I can't believe that you don't have a food scale! You will be shocked at what an actual portion is, once you get one. That should also help the scales move. Measurements will help you see forward progress, even when the scales refuse to cooperate on that front!!! Stay strong, Drea, and stay the course!!

And you didn't kill the vibe....This needs to be a place where we can rant without reprieve!! How can we offer support if no one is posting their struggles?

I believe I forgot to track my progress last week, I apologize! But for this week

Weight: 174.2lbs which I can't believe that I did not gain after I had family visit for a week. For at least 4 days I did not get to go to the gym and was completely off my diet. But I'm guessing the little things like able to pass on majority of the carbs helped.
    Previous weight: 174.6lbs

I love that I was able to finally have a visit from my family but now I'm back to my regular routine (:

Never seen someone so excited for a Monday!! 3.6 pounds gone, 5.6 total gone (out of the 270's, bonus!), and 4 inches total gone! What's not to be excited about!!!

Yes, you missed last week, but we got you caught up now!! So glad that you had a wonderful visit from your family! And the fact that you didn't gain, but had a slight loss, is just icing on the cake. Maybe I shouldn't use that expression in a weight loss group.....

Hoping you have a great week, now that you can get back to your routine!
