Daily post (Wednesday)
Track: Yup
Calories: over. Twice over this week now but since I partly had to get yesterday, I'll cheat a bit:) will do better from tomorrow on!
Exercise: none. Unless you count being creative and creating Christmas decoration with my colleagues as exercise 0:-)
Goal for this evening: Plan my meals for tomorrow carefully because my schedule is tight and I want to finish work on time to get to my exercise classes! (Plus I definitely have to eat before the classes..)0 -
My most recent NSV ..... I had this great fear of swimming in the deep end of the pool.I recently by took a class on" overcoming one's fear of the deep pool." Practice makes Perfect!3

Daily Post Wednesday
Track: Yes
Calories: under
Exercise: 30 min cardio
Goals/day: lose the 2 lbs I gained last week and hold tight the week of thanksgiving (I'm going to leave this for a while to remind me)0 -
@gholderby1234 I don't think that it is actually the Thanksgiving meal that kills everyone so much as the leftovers for 3 days after. If you can avoid the leftovers, you might actually do pretty good. We are usually eating pretty good here for at least 3 days after the fact.1

Recent NSV:
(Most of my victories are to return to the person I was before I broke my leg 5 1/2 months ago)
I was able to skip (wasn’t pretty) briefly outside the pool and I have started jogging in the water4 -
@WA_Teacher great job on the water today!
@cdavisdeva no one was out in that mess today. I can't tell you how many calories I have torched by my inarticulate rage over my internet company...it is pretty primal!1 -
@coloradokat78 I'm really glad that the water therapy is helping and that you can go back to being a normal person again. 5 1/2 months is forever and ever long when you can't do the stuff you're use to doing on your own. I hope this means that there is no long term/permanent damage then?0
-
@mram3582 doesn’t look to be an permanent damage. It was just a real bad break. I broke both my fibula and Tibia and had a rod and 4 screws put in. I broke it so low near my ankle so I have had a ton of stiffness there. Was really hard going from super active to immobile. It is my right leg so it has been tough, but I am finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel2
-
I guess that my most recent NSV was finding the pack of unopened panties, 2 brand new bras (tags still on) and a pair of jeans buried in my closet. Turns out that I now fit in all of them so I don't have to go clothes shopping for another 20-30lbs.5
-
@coloradokat78 That sounds like great news! Maybe some of the stiffness will go away once you are able to walk on it regularly and do weight bearing exercises. However, TSA is never going to leave you alone again with that rod and screws0
