Soooo, I received my lab results. Cholesterols still on the high side. Going to re-evaluate my eating habits.
I have high cholesterol too at one time it was almost 300. It could continue to drop as you continue losing. I found that happened to me the last time I gave a real effort to losing weight. Hopefully this time too. 😊

Soooo, I received my lab results. Cholesterols still on the high side. Going to re-evaluate my eating habits.
Mine was very high and my docs wanted me on meds for years ---and I was dragging my heels on medicating and losing weight. It finally dropped after I lost my first 40lbs. At that time I was walking 3-5miles a day. Cardio helps a lot ---but it really is about your genes as well, which could make it very difficult. My result labs came back higher, and I was concerned---but my HDL went up 40 points--- so my total number was high, but my doc explained that it's all about your ratio of HDL (healthy ) to LDL (bad stuff) ---and your age, sex, and if you smoke.
Don't let it discourage you--- your cholesterol can change drastically in just a few months. You can do it!! 💪🏻😊0 -

I’m sorry gang, I let the team down this week. I do take this as kind of a minor win personally though, since I had such a lousy week. By Tuesday, I was back above 260 from all of the work-stress eating I did since the previous weigh in. So ending up only a pound up was actually a relief to me. Thanks to the team for the encouragement to help me get back on track!7 -

Don’t apologize we all have these weeks! And we all have our triggers that cause us to want to eat. Maybe next time you have a really bad week just aim to maintain. Don’t worry about losing, that’s almost where you ended up this week! 😊1 -

So I will just re-evaluate and see if I can learn more to help myself. Since I’ve been trying to limit carbs I’ve been having more cheeses so I will have to stop that. Lol.2

So I will just re-evaluate and see if I can learn more to help myself. Since I’ve been trying to limit carbs I’ve been having more cheeses so I will have to stop that. Lol.
