Monday 11th March steps: 9,804 - lots of kids out on work experience this week, so I've had a chance to catch up on paperwork, but this means I'm sitting down rather than pacing around!

    After work check in:
I got a trainee today, but not the one I am supposed to get next week. It's looking a great deal like I am going to be training three people. And I still don't know about the possibility of promotion.

Calories are good and I was able to eat a chicken taco salad for lunch, but then I had to drink a diet Coke to settle my stomach. It worked, but I am not going to eat dinner. I see the surgeon next week. (I never thought I would look forward to that.)

Water: 50 oz so far and will add at least 16 more ounces.

    Steps so far: 10311.

Need some advice today. I am planning on researching weight watchers today Which I was very successful on back in 2010. It’s been almost a decade though and I know the program changed significantly. If anyone has good experiences or warnings against weight watchers before I swipe my credit card please let me know. Thank you

It never ceases to amaze me how difficult it is for older people to accept their friends dying. I overheard a similar conversation at church recently and one curmudgeonly gentleman finally piped up and said, "Just because you want to live forever, doesn't mean everyone does. Some of us are just tired of being poked and prodded."

I trust your mom's judgment about her life and know that you kids will help her carry out her wishes. I am sorry that her friends are having a hard time.

Steps Tuesday 12th March: 10,808 - not too bad. I was at London Zoo with some pupils. It was a long coach journey to and from the zoo and it rained all day!!! We did walk and see what we could! Nice to get home for a hot cup of tea! :)

After work & dentist check in: my teeth and the 12 year old's are good to go for another 6 months.

My IT people are getting further on my bad list because my trainee still doesn't have her log-ins for anything. I am on a struggle bus to find things she can do and learn.

Sleep was last night. Steps are low today, but the sun is still up so I am going to walk the dog and get to 10000 at least.

No word on who the new manager will be yet. The longer the boss waits, the less I think it will be me.

Buenas noches de Mexico! Keeping busy, living the life, eating the food and drinking the cerveza. But boy are we active. Around 20,000 steps a day even when I take off my fit bit for three to four hours for swimming.

I’ll talk to you soon! Couldn’t get online yesterday and without a scale I will definitely miss weigh in tomorrow but I’ll check in when I can :)

    Hasta luego, amigos!
