I love NSVs where undies, glasses, hats, shoes fit differently, or stop fitting all together. It's amazing how much our body really does change!8

Then you'll like this one, yesterday, I realized that I could now slip out of my jeans without unbuttoning them.12

My leggings were sliding off my butt yesterday and I was not amused....because I was running. LOL12

One size down. No migraines! No bloated stomach. Fit in my teenage daughter's clothes and only one month down.13

I actually wore my for real cowboy boots yesterday. You know the boots that have to be pulled on by boot straps and come off only if you’ve got a boot jack. It’s been years since I was last able to get my feet into those boots. Boot scootin’ Mama! That’s me!17

Broke the 90lbs lost barrier today. Really great to see that loss change from the 8x it's been at. So close to 100lbs down. Nearing the midpoint of the losing stage of my journey. NSV for me.19

Got right back to tracking after my girls weekend and concert. There have been times when I'm a bit slow to get back to the things i know help me be healthier and happier in the long run but this time as soon as I got on the plane I was back to tracking.11

I compared my measurements now to my measurements a year ago...the torso is basically the same, but I have put on some size in the arms and legs...presumably muscle...I'm feeling all beastly like an amazon over here today!!!14

The scale pissed me off this morning so I'm making myself type out some NSVs:
1) my Pajama pants are too big.
2) I feel better eating this way
3) I have been honest in my food log
4) *kitten* you scale12 -
This morning I noticed my stomach has "deflation ripples".12

35 pushups from the knees9

My nsv is I haven't had a hypoglycemic episode in 1 month! 👍🤗17

I have bruises on the inside of my knees from sleeping on my side with my knees together. I'm not super happy about it but it is amusing. Maybe my next splurge will be a body pillow....3
-
YES!!! I have to offset my knees when I sleep now - it's super annoying!!! But, I guess less fat is good.2

I bought the wrong size stockings and didn't realize till I put them on. While they were unbearably short, they did actually fit around me even though I would have typically bought 1 if not 2 sizes up so while I gave them to the teenage girl I still consider it a partial victory. lol8

I bought myself a new long jacket for this brutal Minnesota winter. It was an XL I ordered online, it fit snug but fit. A month in I could easily zip it up and I didn't feel like I was busting out of it! Also I have a pair of high waisted 5 button up jeggings. I couldn't button the top button before but I can now. Woo hoo! I also lost a chin or two lol17

Today I wore an old pair of work pants from the late 90s. They were a bit baggy... from my early 20s. Yay!10

My latest diet adjustments to get BG down are continuing to show improvements. I had been frustrated because my daily fasting readings in the mornings are so varied that it was hard to see if I was making progress or not. I started charting my 7 day, 14 day, 30 day and 90 day average. As a result, I could see that the longer the time frame, the less jagged the line became and the more clearly the down trend was able to be seen.
The graph below is what I have showing from the beginning of when I started making the latest adjustments to now. The yellow line is the 3 month average (for which I have added a trend line) which is fairly consistent and continuing to trend down even though there are crazy fluctuations in the shorter averages - especially the blue which is the 7 day. Hopefully, this trend will continue for another few months before leveling off.
Graphing this has really helped me not get frustrated when I have crazy readings for no apparent reason as I can see even though the 7 day may go up, the 3 month continues to go down.

Went dress shopping this past weekend and picked up some amazing dresses in a size 6, plus, managed to snag a great deal on a size 4 which fits but is a little snug in the shoulders and way too short for work...that will be a going out to dinner dress!11

Last night I pulled my jeans off without unbuttoning them. They used to be skin tight.15

Wife was behind on washing cloths so I had no clean jeans. Went digging deep in the closent and found some jeans from 2013 when I was "FIT." .....and they fit.....snug but hey skinny jeans are in right!10

I was just told by a coworker she can tell I have a lot more energy. No more after lunch slump!13

I can buy a donut for my son without ordering one for myself. And when he only eats half of it, I just throw the other half away. I can go to an Italian restaurant and not order pasta.14

NSV: I haven't had real pinky toe nails for a LONG time, not real ones, they were really thin and split. I had also kind of ruined a couple of toenails backpacking and cycling. Since I've adopted this WOE and started adding collagen to my morning coffee, I have regrown those toenails. The damaged toenails are back to normal. One pinky toenail is perfect and the other one is growing in normal. My weight loss has been slow and I hear everyone talking about "your body is healing, be patient". I guess its true. Now, I wonder what else has fixed itself that I can't see.12

There was triple chocolate cake in the office today. I actually cut piece and brought it into the office to smash. When I thought about what I was about to do and how I would have to start all over I threw the cake in the garbage with out having any. Total NSV for me.15

My biggest one is appetite suppression. I’m a foodie if you can’t tell. When I eat carbs I can literally eat an entire bag of chips my myself and then think, “I could go for a Ding Dong”. Why not, right? My weight stayed the same regardless of what I ate. I didn’t lose but I didn’t gain.
Only at 20 carbs a day do I lose. And I find it incredibly hard to get up to 1,000 calories a day like MFP wants you to do in order to log your day. I make two eggs with cheese - I can only finish 1 and a half. I make four ham roll ups, after three, I’m like, “Nah, I’m done.”
The appetite control is amazing. I know it’s all based on some fancy hormone science my brainy daughter keeps trying to explain to me, but I don’t care about that. I just lost another pound today.9 -

The "trick" here is to add something bogus to get you over the limit. Enter the day and then delete the bogus entry. It adjusts the day, and it stays logged.

No need for all that unless you want to "announce" on your feed that you have completed your diary. Your diary stays intact whether you "complete" it or not. The only thing "completion" does is give you the (bogus) 5 week projection and announce to your newsfeed. BUT you can even un-check that box in settings so diary completion no longer goes to your feed.
