Pulse check for TBBT. What does everyone think about starting a weekly conversation with any focused topic. At the end of our meetings at work we do a "round table" conversation, where we pretty much share our thoughts. Would anyone like to do something like that to help us stay engaged with our mission?

At any time if anyone wants to start a conversation, this is the place. @Kwinnero, get us started, Krystal, so we can follow your lead.

Ok great! Ill start up a new conversation Sunday with our new week.

Sorry for the late weigh @HASWLRS and for your rougher week. I also haven't been great on the food front this week but hoping to be back with a new mindset xx

I owe you all an apology. I decided on Wednesday that my heel is too sore to join the running group that was starting up again on the 16th. That was hard to accept and I proceeded to have a three day pity party for myself. I am still here, sort of.

@HASWLRS No apologies necessary. You have to take care of yourself and that means every part of you including your foot. Get back on track and find ways to stick to plan even if your exercise is limited.

Every. Single. One of us struggles at times. Thats why we are here. We need the support of others. So now we are here for you. Take the time you need, then gather yourself, make a plan, and get back to it. You are strong and can do it.

I don't know what my problem is this year. I can't seem to lose consistently and it's frustrating. But I'm still trying, not throwing in the towel so I guess that's something :/

    159 -> 160 :s
Sorry I'm late! It has been quite a week.
I'm back at 160, which is a little annoying. I have been running my moderately sized butt off. I did reach 4 miles of running this past week and I'm super proud. I spent most of the time thinking of answers to questions for my interview yesterday. Great distraction technique 10/10 would recommend.

    Logged food: Yes

Had a busy day and waited to long to eat lunch and dinner, so I ended up snacking a lot on denser foods in between which threw me way over calories.

    Starting Weight: 235.6
    Last week: 224.8
    Weigh in day: Sunday
April week 2: weight today: 230.6

This gain is completely stress related! This entire week was terrible! My husband was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday for what they thought was a heart attack. After sitting in the ER for 15 hours, and countless testing we finally got into a room. After a couple of days he ended up having a heart cath done. They found some small blockages, but one other blockage they can't get to due to where its located. So he's on a bunch of medication and we will see where things go from there. Anyway, I walked up and down the halls of that place so many times, but I barely ate anything for 4 days and I was a complete mess! We are home now and I seriously wanted to skip the scale all together. But, I had to remind myself that life happens. I didn't fail. I couldn't have predicted this. Today is a new day and I can start over. I am discouraged and a bit frustrated, but I will keep going. I am determined to have a loss next week.

Family is without a doubt the top priority over a weekly weigh in. Don’t stress the scale, you have enough as it is.
Thoughts are with you and hopes that everything gets better

Like Erik said family is the most important thing. Please don’t worry about the scale, you did exactly what the rest of us would have done, ***hugs*** My thoughts will be with you hoping things get better.

Take one day at a time, today is a new day, REMEMBER life happens you didn’t fail!
