So grateful for the support on Friday. Got myself out and moving tonight - quite slow and not very far but I'm pleased I started and I did manage a 2 minute consecutive jog 👍 Hope everyone has had a good weekend!

So true! There was a 2 billion year timeline walk of all the different rocks at the canyon! It was really cool to walk and learn!

Your mile pace is far from being quite slow! In fact, I really am sweating at that pace. You are doing great

Have you tried TENS therapy? Icy Hot makes an inexpensive unit and is the only thing that seems to help. But I have to put it on as soon as I feel my back starting to twinge or it is too late.

@Tracie_Lord, I just wanted to bring this to your attention. Eating in a calorie deficit in the way that MFP is designed, means factoring in your exercise calories and eating (most of) them back.

So pleased with this past week!
Although I’m not participating in the mini challenge because I’m not exactly tracking my food intake, but I ate well every day except for today (family was over and the dinner meal was heavy). I also went to the gym 5 days this week! And took a walk both days I didn’t get to the gym. Yay!

Hope everyone is starting off the week on the right foot!

@mickey10111, yay for getting back on track and feeling good!!!!

@kc9agz, so sorry for your loss! I know how hard it is to have to put down a beloved pet and member of the family. (hugs)

@jlbtnc, having grandkids spend the night should be worth more than 45 minutes of exercise!!

@cmhubbard92, it's amazing how something so barren can also be so beautiful!! I have never been to the Grand Canyon, but it is on my bucket list. I have been hiking in Red Rock Canyon near Las Vegas, which would be similar geography, just on a smaller scale!

I have one that helps occasionally. But like you said, works best right away. Mostly this just takes time when it’s happened in the past. I over did it chopping wood which caused the muscle spasm, then it pulls my vertebrae out of alignment which causes more uncle spasms. It’s just a matter of not pushing things while muscles and vertebrae get calmed down and aligned.
