I’m trying to refocus my efforts here. I’m not “off the wagon” but I haven’t been as careful. Logging late, not getting all my water, some “less than optimal “ eating.

It’s weird, but I tend to do well in the winter and then when the weather gets nice and I’ve lost a little bit, I lose focus and get off track. This is my pattern. Not sure how to fix it except keep trying. My hubby tells me it should be easier in good weather, but that’s not how I’m wired. So that’s where I am. We’ll see what the weigh in says this week. April, you are not my best month!

Spring is somehow about relaxing once the weather isn't such a pain in the neck. I'm the same way - in winter I exercise hard and don't mind doing workouts inside when it is bad weather. Then the spring starts, and I'm feeling so mellow, and taking time to smell the warmer air, and......... Yeah. This is when I enforce my shower rule : no shower goes undeserved. I have to sweat and work those muscles at least for a minimum time. It helps! I'm sure you'll find a way too.

I posted my steps, I was so happy with all my accomplishments today, a year ago I could not
even bend, I could not even cough, because I had brain surgery, and radiation all summer. I am so ready for July to head for California, because we had to cancel last year. I am so fortunate. It is a reminder for me vegetables, fruit and lots of water and exercise.

This is really moving - what a year you have had, and look where you are now! It is beautiful. <3

I was on the phone with @Navydaddjtc this morning, and even through all his difficult times right now, he is taking care of his baseball team and really getting them fired up. He was bragging about how well they were doing, and that they would be giving us some tough competition. WELL. I think we've got this. Great job for today so far, and I'm sure that will continue!

@jugar I'm out of town Thursday through Saturday but I still exercised Thursday night. However, my Fitbit is having trouble syncing. As soon as it's back to normal, I'll post my steps, workout and minutes for 4/25/19.

@jugar I know you are subbing in for one place for the weekend ...

If you need a second backup for Baseball to finish up the week, let me know. My fitbit means I can put up some mean step-total numbers without being ONLY on my mini-trampoline all evening ....

I have not done well at all. I haven’t been logging or exercising. I’m not sure why. My excuse would be busy with the kids and vacation coming up but there are no excuses!

I am going to have to skip next month being on the team. We are going to Disney for a week and I know I will be eating more than I need to but it’s a treat! I’m hoping the walking will get me back into the routine. I will still check in for May and say hi and then come June I will be ready to participate!
