I love Middle Eastern foods. My fiance's family is from Afghanistan, and he went to culinary school... So, he's always cooking delicious spicy foods. Tonight he did chicken thighs baked in an Asian orange marinade, OMG it was good!!
Chatting with another foodie on here is awesome!! Thanks!!2 -

Full fat Fage with strawberries is what I have for breakfast EVERY DAY! It’s my absolute favorite meal. It’s so filling and tastes like desert. Love it.2 -
Today it looked like this - half a rotisserie chicken with sugar free bbq sauce, bratwurst sausage and a 3 egg and cheese omelet with pesto bianco(savory pork lard).2 -

Konjac pasta

This is maybe nothing special but my first attempt making something 'new' and it was soooo yummy I wanted to share! Its a porkchop, diced, and fried in a bit of butter, then tossed with some spinach & seasoned with salt & (hot) cayenne powder. And 3 eggs, scrambled, & also seasoned with salt & cayenne powder. First try making scrambled eggs & they were just perfect, & the diced pork was great too!

No pics, for whatever reason I've never been able to get them to load in the android app.
But meal 1 was Center Cut bacon, fried eggs and egg whites and 6oz of spring mix sautéed with shallot and garlic in some of the bacon grease.
Meal 2 is a heap of grilled chicken thigh meat with homemade taco seasoning over a bed of shredded iceburg lettuce and green cabbage, with picante salsa and a dressing made from Guacamole, lime juice and sour cream.
I had a serving of raspberries and a protein Iced coffee in the afternoon.
At this point am not doing hardcore keto level of carbs, sticking to sub 50g predominantly from non-starchy veg but also some low-carb friendly fruit and shooting for about 120g protein, then fat fills the rest.5 -
Today I had lots of coffee with heavy cream and stevia
For breakfast I had a huge garden salad with olives pickles 3 baby carrots salami provolone cheese and ranch dressing
Had some pecans and roasted squash seeds for snack
Dinner was balsamic chicken breast with mozzarella cheese and some roasted delicata squash
I saved room for keto hot cocoa later this evening 😋5 -
@herblovinmom that sounds delicious and incredibly healthy. Nice job!!2

Typical breakfast for me. Bacon, eggs, and some kind of veggie sauteed in the bacon grease. Here I've got okra, but I often do kale, and also sometimes a fermented veggie, like fennel sauerkraut. If I don't feel like cooking up a veggie, I just eat half an avocado with it instead.

Tonight, a 9oz rare grilled tenderloin steak and a Roasted vegetable medley (green and yellow squash, asparagus, red onion)3

So my friend made a lovely dinner for us last night:
French onion mozzarella and swiss stuffed chicken breast with sauteed mushrooms, over purple cauliflower buttermilk mash topped with micro greens, served with white asparagus and roasted red peppers.
It was AMAZING. Wish I snapped a pic because it was beautiful too. We were too busy having fun to think of breaking out a camera.4 -
@ploomka
That does sound beautiful! Yummy too1 -
I know @herblovinmom has seen this pic already in Keto group, but posting here too cuz I so proud of it.
Delicious cloud bread bun (from here) burgers! Had to bake them for like 50 min at 300F for them to be solid enough for the burger. Really good stuff!

Google is your friend, especially using terms like Low Carb or Keto and the common 'nickname' of the food, like cloud bread or fat-head pizza. You can always message the person who wrote the post. They also get notifications if you use the @ symbol before their avatar name in your post, or use the 'quote' button on their post to make your post.1 -

It was mustard. I also had a side of two eggs. It was brunch, so I figured it was a good compromise.1 -
Since i post most of these on Instagram, ill try to post here too.
USDA prime Filet Mignon with 3 eggs. Seasoned steak with a brown sugar (swerve) spice rub. This was brunch.
And was a salmon with creamy bacon and garlic brussel sprouts.
And while I didn't have this today, it was a chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting.
I love cooking and making a variety of recipes.1
