Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. I ran a 5k. Not a spectacular time, by any means, but I did finish. Then walked another 3k with the Number Two Son. He is finally feeling better and was ready to get back into his C25k training.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes. This is said with the bare minimum of confidence since I am still unsure about how many exercise calories I am supposed to eat. But I had over 900 and ate 300, so I think I'm OK there.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes.
Did I drink at least 8 glasses of water today? Yes.6 -

Not where I wanted to end, but between the steroids from being sick, eating everything in sight and no sleep, plus company staying with us all week, the distractions have been immense! It could have been Soooo much worse. I'm still so much better than where I was 2 months ago.

Did I focus on lowering my sugar intake? Yes, 47 grams

Anecdotal evidence isn't really evidence but my observation is I lose more weight when I get more sleep.3 -

Not sure what's up with that. Still measuring what I eat to be accurate. Working out more. Drinking more. Oh, well. Part of the process, I guess. I lowered my calorie count for the day. We'll see if that helps. Still plugging on. Water aerobics at 10 a.m. The leader at this one does hip-hop and Latin music. Lots of fun!5 -

It happens to all of us. Thankfully it's only an increase on 1.1 pounds. I know it will be back off next weigh in!
Good on you for measuring what you eat. I rarely do that but do know how beneficial it is.
Great job increasing your exercising.

Thank you to those who participated in last week’s mini-challenge to get more sleep. How did you do? Do you feel more rested after getting 7-9 hours each night?
This week’s mini-challenge is to have protein with each meal. Eat quality protein. Include protein with every meal and choose plants such as nuts and nut butters, beans, seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, chia, and hemp). Limit your animal intake to grass-fed, pastured and organic meats to avoid exposure to antibiotics and hormones.

I did great each night with the sleep challenge, except last night. I woke up at 3 a.m. this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Made the most of the time, though. I have a pooch parade at Cheekwood today with my friend and I'll be crashing when I get home, for sure! I'll post photos. I'm going to be a hamburger, she's french fries, and our pups are mustard and ketchup. Should be a lot of fun!2

@looneycatblue, we had such a great time! Cheekwood is a botanical garden here in Nashville and they had so many great photo ops with pumpkins, mums, and everything fall. I'll post photos when my friend sends them to me. She's editing them now.
