I'm here and so glad to be here. I'm Chastity. 36 and adopted mom of four,PCOS warrior and trying to get my health back in line after being off of the work out wagon for almost three years. I got hit by a pickup truck while training for a half marathon in July 2017 and had to have emergency knee surgery. I was left on the side of the road for dead After that the fear of being out and running again kept me sidelined. I would look around and be expecting the white pickup truck at every turn. Before I got hit I lost 120 lbs by logging into MFP every day, running, weights and doing these challenges to keep myself accountable. I've kept 70-75 lbs of it off and want to get to my ideal in the most healthy and safe way. I've also dealt with multiple miscarriages and most recently a five month long hysterical pregnancy. If you have any questions for me please ask! Hope to get to know all of you!

Glad to have you on the team. That is a lot to go through. You will find this is a very supportive group.

Ok- now I need to get into a new routine and possibly cut back calories as I can’t weight train now- that and cut back on the treats! 😊💕😊

I think many of us are in the same boat as you this week. The first week of self isolation was a challenge.

    Sunday check in
    Calories: under
    Exercise: 30 minute walk
    Water: success
    Steps 3/23 6,520

I didn’t do to much yesterday. I found I was really agitated. My mom now is in self isolation as she may have had contact with a positive person. Today I am going to try a YouTube video again plus walking. I have been searching for one without too many lunges, squats or other things involving the knee. I had a knee replacement a few years back and it limits what I can do. I was doing one last year that was good but I can’t find it again. I will search again today. I hope everyone is hanging in there with all going on right now. We will get through this!

    Monday’s goals
    1. 45 minute walk
    2. 9000 steps
    3. Stay within calorie goal

Ugh dinner is a failure tonight, I could not get my pressure cooker to come up to pressure and my plans for creamy pork chops and rice are dashed. I’m still cooking it but it will take too long for tonight’s dinner. Instead we’ll eat it tomorrow. Now I’m left scrambling for something tonight. Just feeling a little frustrated by it.

3/23 9,134 ( sorry Mari, I mixed up the dates)

Our province shut down all non essential business effective tonight. I find out tonight if my husband is laid off as result. I am not worried for us money wise but I feel for all the people who will find it difficult at this time. I didn’t get to my video yesterday but it is on the agenda today. I find it way easier to drink my water during the week than weekends. I tend to drink more coffee/tea and other sorts of drinks on the weekend. Something to work on.

    Today’s goals
    1. Stay within calorie goal
    2. Walk 45 minutes
    3. Do a YouTube beginner cardio workout

Creamy pork chops sound delicious! I am not a big pork fan but I would try that. Hope things go better.

I've been a slacker the past couple of days. I haven't logged anything, ate everything, the gym is closed so not much for exercise besides walking. Today is back on track day! Got in a short dumbbell workout and running intervals this morning and my diary is tentatively filled in for the day. I am also going to find a good all over body weight workout for tomorrow.
    Happy Tuesday!
