Connie: This morning I snapped at her as my dog and I were leaving on our walk. I think it was the second cup of strong coffee that had my nerves on edge. I did apologize of course.

    1. Weigh everything
    2. Log accurately
    3. stay within my calorie goals
    4. Do some exercise

    Weekend goals:
    • Plant my new beebalm
    • Make and build some more tomato cages (top priority, they are huge)
    • Hang my new bird feeder
    • Bake some sourdough (Suzy should be ready now)
    • Spend a few hours getting caught up/ahead on work for next week (I say this every weekend but never do it lol. I mean so well)
    • Go for a nice bike ride at least one evening, preferably two.
    • Laundry. So very much laundry.
    • Clean up the (inflatable, kiddie) pool - seriously best thing i did for myself this summer. It has built in cup holders.
    • Spend a few hours (in 15 minute increments, thanks @cesse47!) going through boxes of clothes in the guest room. Much of it is stuff that is now too big for me, but some is super old things that just now fit again. I have to decide what I'm ready to get rid of. I'm worried about gaining the weight back, and plan to keep some of the harder to find/fit items, like one of my suits (with pants and skirt). I do plan to hide them away in the basement (out of sight, out of mind) so its not easy to accidentally start sizing back up and not really notice/care - I'd have to go digging for the clothes if that happened, which I would hope would trigger me to actually get back in a deficit rather than pulling the clothes out. But given how hard it was to find sleek, professional clothes at that size, I refuse to completely get rid of it, lol!
    • Start sorting said clothes to donate/sell/get rid of (linked with above):
      • Garbage - Stuff that is unmendable, i.e. the pajama shorts I've had for 10 years whose waistband is torn away from the actual shorts, that are so big i currently hold up them up by tying the excess fabric with a hair twistie. WHAT IT STILL "FITS" I CAN GET MORE USE OUT OF IT
      • Donate (local) - Some of my nicer plus-sized work clothes. I know how hard these are to find, and will donate these to a local organization that provides clothing for job interviews for women experiencing homelessness.
      • Donate (goodwill, etc...) - Anything else that is in decent, wearable condition
      • Sell (Poshmark?) - A few beautiful dresses I got and never had a chance to wear before they got too big. Hoping I can recoup at least some of the cost.

The weekend got busier than I had planned. Saturday I was in a cleaning mood and went through a bin of clothes to sort. It wasn't much, but it felt really good to get started. My best friend and our former roommate came over on Sunday, which took up most of the day, and was great. I miss seeing her every day.

    Today:
[*] Finish work by my CoB deadlines
[*] Stay under maintenance calories - I was way over yesterday (brunch, cake, pizza, beer), and have already eaten my calories worth of those leftovers today. So I'll aim for maintenance today. We were planning on a bike ride tonight, so that will help too.

Gotta do something to get focused so maybe this will help.

      1) Track my food today - re-started tracking yesterday
      2) Get some cardio exercise - elliptical 5-6 minutes (I'm just starting)
      3) Do laundry
      4) Clean kitchen
      5) Make a pot of spaghetti sauce for my sister and her family

If I accomplish these things today - I will be mark today as successful.

I managed to cut some parts for my tomato cages and start to get the bigger ones caged up last night as well. (My biggest tomato is well over 6 feet tall!). Glad my husband dragged me off the couch last night to do this. Need another trip to the hardware store, since I'm out of materials!

        Today:
        • Pre-log most food today
        • Hit calorie goal (+/- a little)
        • Yoga break this afternoon

My goal today is to keep everything in perspective.

I have been letting the stress of everything get to me so much this week that I have pain in my back from it.

[*] Put tents up to air them out after camping at the weekend

Still didn't air the tents so that is on tonight's agenda.

Didn't make time for yoga, I ended up working a while into the evening instead.

            • Pre-log food
            • Focus on filling foods/proteins again
            • Hit calorie goal (+/-)
            • In bed early tonight! (I'm giving a long, big, early presentation at work tomorrow)
            • Yoga? (bonus item)
          • Finish the dishes.
Make the other white pizza and put it away.

If I can get this headache to subside, I'll fix the toilet, but I don't want to do it for the first time with a migraine. We'll see in about fifteen minutes where we're at with that.

Epic fail on the organisation front yesterday it was so warm and humid yesterday that when I got home I more or less showered and lay on the bed next to the open window until dinner and then just sorted some laundry out. I've still ignored the tents and the other housework.

Today will not be much better as I am out for dinner this evening.

I already accomplished engaging my children in exercise with me.

Now I just need to focus on keeping all stress in perspective.

Success! I pre-logged, which allowed me to maximize my calories. Had plenty of filling protein, didn't feel the need to snack after supper. Fell asleep on the couch lol, then made my way up to bed by 10.

                • Pre-log calories again
                • Another day near goal calories
                • Another day without much hunger
