I need to be careful though because that's usually where I get off track. Going for some retail therapy when the quilt shop opens.     @murdog3t - I am so sorry that you have been experiencing pain. Hope you're feeling better soon. I know it must be scary in California right now. I have a friend in Oregon who I just checked on last night. She is packed and ready to evacuate if need be. Thinking of you and praying for your safety.

    @cmhubbard92 - I am also impressed that you can do a one-legged pigeon!

    @knlizght - an impressive day at the gym - zumba and boot camp! I've always been too chicken to try boot camp.

    @murdog3t, in spite of all the unknowns in your little world right now, you are in control of what you are eating and doing, and it showed on the scale. Well done!!

    Hey TBBT, My past couple of weeks have been crazy. I have had some things going on that has kept me busy and exhausted. I have not been doing a very good job at being a team co-captain and responding or being encouraging and supportive to you guys. I apologize for that. I also have not been taking good care of myself either.
    I need to learn how to manage fitness and diet when everything else is not going smooth and to plan. I think that is where a lot of us struggle.
    Have a great weekend. I'm going to use the weekend to get caught up and regroup and try to figure out how to keep focus while manaaging stress and unexpected events.

    I went with my husband to his gum specialist appointment in the city, only I did not go in with him. Instead I walked around outside and in the nearby mall. That is how I got my first 55 minute walk in. It wasn't speedy by any means; I had on flip flops and was carrying my purse, but my Fitbit registered it.

    I did not sleep again last night....my body may have been a little achy from overdoing it yesterday. This morning I have already had my share of carbs. I need to focus, and soon, or I will blow it today!!

    A great way to spend your time waiting. I know that soon I will be doing my share of waiting and I was thinking about what books to take to read but I am feeling inspired to walk instead.

    @thedestar and @brandi_84, I hope you can both come up with a plan this weekend to manage your currently crazy, stressful lives! It seems like every time we get on a roll, the universe stops us in our tracks! My second day with interrupted sleep and I didn't even try to stay on track!! And of course, tomorrow is weigh-in day.....

    Brandi, as far as walking instead of waiting, I don't know if I would have even been allowed to come in with him? And if I was, I would have had to sit there the whole hour with a mask on (it's mandatory here). No thank you, if I can be outside, walking, and without a mask!
