The past couple days I'm hitting 85% of a mile in steps. On both days I'm just done for the day or too tired to go for the complete mile. So, that's still about 1500 more steps per day than last month. Hopefully the stamina factor will kick in soon and I'll hit one mile regularly.
Still proud of my activity progress.
Food is still all over the place. More real food, less processed though; and still too high on carbs, but not SAD level.
Getting there slowly but surely.
Have a great night, pals!4 -
10/5/20
Prelogged
5000 steps
Off day no strength
Still need to make up 3000 step deficit.
Made some keto biscuits yesterday and some PB Protein balls this morning. Saw a recipe for low carb apple crisp I'd like to try (diced zucchini). Might have to still add some apple in there.3 -

Calorie goal ✅ had a nice deficit based on the amount of activity I had for the day.
Snacking- I did add some additional protein a few hours after dinner because I was a bit low for the day and felt like I’d cave to something off plan if I didn’t. Not terrible but could I have just refrained? Yes, more than likely.3 -
10/5:
Food was good - calories were low since the salami I ate last night was apparently a little old and cleaned out most of dinner... oh well.
Did get a good 19 mile ride in the morning and finished the day with 7700 steps.3 -
10/6 Goals met and I walked 5 miles with Leslie Sansone today .... I have blisters on the tops of my toes ...I ordered a pair of sketcher hiking boots when I was in a walking boot so they are to big on my feet now ....gonna try to pairs of socks and see if that helps4

1.Food just ok today. Took my eldest daughter to a post-op visit at Mayo and we had lunch (I usually fast until mid afternoon) so my calories are definitely over today. I did make good food choices so that’s a plus.
2. 3 mile training run and managed an additional 4 miles walking.

Calorie goal - a bit over what I would like but still in a deficit. Wasn’t feeling super hungry so lunch was light with a normal sized dinner for me.
Snacking- dumb excuse for why I did which added a few calories from nuts but I just had a handful to distract my dog from bad behavior. Again, could have gone without but whatcha gonna do??4 -
10/7:
Calories were a little on the high side (but still below maint), must have been making up for Monday. Protein 134g, Carbs 90g net.
Exercise - did a short ride of 14 miles in the morning and then body weight exercises later in the day. Finished with 7500 steps for the day.3 -
Hey y'all. I'm around. We had a weekend trip camping, and I'm just having a hard time getting back into the swing of things. I'm doing fine on the eating and fitness end, it's just everything else is being ridiculous. Kids don't want to go back to school work. They keep trashing my house. And etc...

@baconslave mine are married and on their own but I still have the hubs wrecking my house
10/6 Prelogged food
8857 steps, made up my deficit
No strength day but better get on that4 -
1. Stuck to my normal diet, so food good today.
2. A running rest day, but back to work today. Super busy catching up as had a vacation day yesterday and managed to log 9 miles of walking. While I’m so grateful that I still have a job at the library, it’s challenging with the county hiring freeze and being severely short staffed as it is.2 -

Calorie goal/snacking went out the window last night around 8pm with a quick trip to the store. I didn’t even log the snacks because I know I was over by quite a bit. The saving grace is I had done strength training early in the day and clocked about 14k steps. I believe this is a direct result of not eating much for lunch then making up for it at night. I have this mindset that dinner is the big meal when I should try and spread things out more to avoid these little free for all’s. I’ll have to think about this and how I can add some changes.3 -
1. Good food day which was helped by being busy.
2. 5 mile training run this morning and managed another 5 miles walking as I went into work for a few hours. The run was not pretty at all time wise, but got it done.3 -

Calorie goal/snacking 👿 maintenance day to rid the house of bad stuff- of course I ate some of it rather than throwing away. Had a good move day so there was some balance...2 -

I am late to the party too, but would love to join in. What a *kitten* storm things have been since March. Gained weight in quarantine, A/C and hot water heater went out July 1st. Worked has slowed to a crawl due to Covid. Professional pet sitter and everyone canceled their travel plans.... Now the good news, I am not ill, my home is intact, dogs are great and I am truly grateful that I have been able to stay ahead of the curve. Hope to meet many of you as I restart my weightloss journey.4

actually *kitten* Storm is what I said, not kitten storm.1

The forums have filters that replace curse words with '*kitten*'.
Welcome to the party!1 -
1. Dinner out with husband, so definitely over on calories, but good choices made.
2. 3 mile training run plus another 7.5 miles walked when shopping at Mall of America with my daughter. Rest day from running tomorrow!2 -

10/10 Yesterday I walked almost 5 miles ..I am very sore but I am about to head out for a shorter walk with my daughter and Aspen my husky....Goals have been met2

Calorie goals / snacking 👎 flex day2 -
Summary of this past week that runs Saturday thru Friday on my pedometer:
4 days were very close or at one mile steps goal.
3 days were at or above last month's goals.
Progress not perfection.
Shooting for one mile of steps this week 5-6 days; or, less if some days are 1.5 miles.
At this point I want to build increased stamina.
Still in beginning stages, and feeling good.4 -
