Comments: I thought this last week was going to be a wash, but to my surprise, it didn't turn out to be tooooo bad.
I've been focusing on the behaviors rather than the numbers. I had a moment of clarity last weekend. I think I might just be a food addict. So I started a "bullet" journal of sorts so that I could better control my day, plan and then review how that plan actually worked for my day. I'm starting to finally feel like I might be regaining control. It's been a tough few months for me but I need to regain that control and I **think** I'm getting there. It's weird how the extra structure has really been helping me...3 -

I never considered food addiction before. The good part about that would be that addictions can be beaten. What made you realize that this might be the case for you (if it's not too invasive to ask)?1 -

@ssssanaaaa Ah, that's sort of the realllllly sad part. I was watching my brother destroy is sobriety of 9 months with a 5th of whiskey last weekend....and it was like a compulsion for him and I realized that's how I walk to the kitchen...its not a conscious choice, I just do it...it also made me realize that addiction seems to run in my family, we all have something.....my sisters has one, my mom has one, my mom's biological father was killed by his alcoholism....and it sort of made me think. When I lost the weight the first time, I did it by trading my food addiction for fitness, so I didn't overcome it, I just traded it, then when I got to where I wanted to be, I let myself go a bit, and wound up gaining back 40 of the 110 lbs I lost....now here we are, having a muuuch harder time this time around...but I am determined to get back to where I was.3 -
