@minstrelofsarcasm I love the photos! Love lighthouses. We did the Lighthouse festival a couple years ago in Wisconsin. Was super cool.

I got called in to work this afternoon and when I got home...stroopwaffels AND stollen had snuck into my house. THIS is why my husband isn't sent to the store by himself...

So glad we took a long walk this am.

    Hey Marcy ( @mxlaw90 ) -

I have your weight from last week recorded as 156.8, which would put you at a loss of 10.4 lbs over the past week. Has there been a typo somewhere, by chance?

    Weekend check in
    Food-not good
    Water-good Sat, low Sun
Exercise-Sat-over an hour walk, PT, Stretching and strength Sun-only PT

I have my orthopedic doctor's appointment today so I need to get moving. Weekend was bad, especially yesterday. Not only did I over eat, they were all carbs. My mindset was, I will get back on track tomorrow. I am doing that too often and my weight keeps going up. Today I am back on track. I planned for the week, I am going to go shopping and then do some food prep to make it easier to go for the healthy stuff and not give in to take out or unhealthy left overs from takeout. I know what I am doing wrong and I know what I need to do. Time to start doing it!

@goingape Nice loss this week! Glad you had a fun weekend. I am with you this week! Lets do this!!
@tryingagin5 Did you save any of the recipes from the classes you were taking? I think you did some crock pot meals that you made ahead. I think you really liked a few of them so maybe that would be a good way to get your eating back on track.
@kika510 Nice loss! You know you are working long hours when you have to bring breakfast and dinner to work. Hope your 3 day stretch is over and you can get some rest
    @kirsten11872 Nice loss this week!
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx Amazing that you went through all of that and still had a loss. Hope you are feeling better soon and can get back to your usual routine. xo
@kiane50 Great job! I agree, I think a lot comes down to overeating. I am working on that myself.
@melaniedscott Bakery porn-lol! :D Excellent walk-love the things you can notice and appreciate when you go out on a walk, like beautiful roses in November!
@GingerPwr You have set yourself up for a successful week! You got this!!
@ljdanny Probably a good thing you waited on the zumba. Your PT should be able to tell you when they think you can safely do it. I agree, it was the same way getting PT set up for when Jim came home from the hospital. It wasn't as long as you but for sending someone home from the hospital who could only take a few steps, I thought it was long. I had a PT friend make up a routine so he didn't lose what he had gained from the hospital PT. I can't believe you are almost done Christmas shopping and wrapping! Very impressive! I have 2 gifts for each kid so far, not wrapped and I was impressed with myself Lol! I need to get moving! Good luck this week with work and PT. I am sure with both you will get steps in. Starting both this week may be tiring so listen to your body.
@minstrelofsarcasm Love the pics! You look beautiful-I love your hair! You made me lol with the sailboat in the background :D Glad you are back!

Hope the orthopedic appointment goes well!

I think a lot of us are doing the "I"ll get back on track tomorrow" thing and of course we all know "tomorrow" never comes.

Glad you've got a plan set up for this week.

Yes, I do have the crockpot recipes from the cooking classes I took. I also have plenty of cookbooks to make use of. Just need to start doing it.

After my trainer told me I needed to start keeping track again, I did that for the rest of Thursday and the weekend. Friday and Saturday went well but Sunday was the birthday party for my great niece. I got a little carried away there and ate too much, even though my plan was not to do that. Need to do better the rest of the week.

Since I had last night off, I worked with my trainer this morning. I told him not to look at Sunday but that the rest of the weekend was pretty good. He told me he was happy that I kept track and brought it to him.

My knee is feeling pretty good but I haven't worked since Wednesday night so I'm pretty sure that not being on it is helping.

Work is very busy and for some reason they are having 20 to 30% of the production employees aren't showing up to work again (still). I'll never understand that. You have a job, you go to work. Seems pretty simple to me.

The company is afraid they're going to miss the customer's shipments so between November 1st and December 5th, they are going to pay double time for anything over 40 hours. That will be nice. Work 8 hours OT, get paid for 16. I plan on doing some but will have to be careful with my knee.

    Weekend check in
Hi everyone and I hope that you all had a good weekend! I was busy, but did my usual food prep for the week. I had some stress too with my older son and his study habits, but I worked through that without stress eating. The weather was beautiful here and still is, so I got outside quite a bit too. Work has been quiet these past few weeks, but I have some things to do this week, so that will keep me busy. I am continuing my hygge research as well, because eventually, the weather will get cold once again. I was feeling that Monday fatigue a bit when I woke up early today, but I went for a long walk first thing and that really helped. Hope that everyone has a great week!

@tryingagain5 - Really great that you are seeing your trainer again. He sounds so supportive and reasonable!

@sleepymom5 - Good luck with your appointment today!

@minstrelofsarcasm - I loved your vacation photos and thanks for posting them!

@ljdanny - I am with you on getting organized early for Christmas! I am not quite as organized as you, but this is usually the week where I start shopping and get a lot of it done.

@kiane50 - I really love your anecdote about eating the pizza until satisfied. Way to go! I really think it is these small decisions and steps that amount to healthy habits and help you get to goal.

Good morning, new week to get on track and try to stay there. I have been watching my protein intake for a couple of weeks, trying to stay above 15%, fewer carbs. Most days have succeeded. But I made brownies the other day - craving chocolate - but trying not to indulge too much. Eating smaller pieces helps and it'll last longer too. I will keep that in mind with all the holiday treats coming soon. I usually bake several kinds of cookies just because it's Christmas. Have to either give them away or freeze them and take out a few at a time.

Glad you were able to work through the stress without stress eating. Great job!

The weather here has been pretty nice the last few days and will continue until tomorrow. According to the news. The weather is going to get colder again on Wednesday.

I'm enjoying working with my trainer too. Yes, he is supportive and reasonable. He understands we all slip up now and then because he does it too.

@pacsnc6 Have you ever tried black bean brownies? Or subbing avocado for butter (I like subbing applesauce, but chocolate & avo work pretty well together)?

I'm excited 206.8 on the scalw this am...it isn't weigh day yet (kittens!)... let's see if I can keep it.

@melaniedscott I don't like black beans but never tried them baked into something. I usually use a box mix for the brownies, have considered using applesauce though.
@trtyingagain5 your niece is precious. That is a great picture to show her in about 10 years!

Well my crafts are spread around the basement. I need to wrap up an album project which will be a uni grad gift for my cousin. I’ve been working with some vintage photos which I love so so much.

It’s a major snow dump here so glad I’m working from home for tomorrow still. Kids and hubs will be shovelling later today. I’m going to rest and watch hbo. More me time for me. Hoping my tummy is settled now.

I had to swap around some classes. They sadly cancelled yoga from lack of enrolment. So I added a second cardio sculpt which incorporates weights. I’m trying to add in more strength training where I can.

I hope you are all doing well. And if you are recovering from bad weekend food choices like me, we can do it !

Happy Monday everyone! Back to what works for me, Monday Meal Prep day! I was really getting sideways here lately with all the extra hours at work, no playtime and that dang erection lasting a week! Processed "Easy" foods are not working for my insides, hell, it's been almost 400 days now without fast food crap! We all know what we can and can't do to ourselves, it's just a matter of following thru!
Anyway, for the next 4 days I'll be eating some sweet and sour rice topped with crushed pineapple, oriental veggies and braised Deer tenderloin sautéed in sweet Thai chili Sause!

You know you want some of this!!

Kick *kitten* this week team and follow thru with me!!
    (and wear your mask!)
    That looks seriously yummy.
