I was feeling so pumped yesterday. I made good food choices and was proud of my results on my fitness test. And then my husband brought home brownies. I was still under calories but it was way too much sugar.4 -

@thedestar I understand. This happens all the time. I log and stay under calories and my husband will do an after dinner run to the store and bring home something delicious.1 -

I love sweets, so I totally get this. Once I start, I can't stop eating them. It's great you were able to stay under calories.

I start each day thinking this is the day I turn it around, then I end up overeating and then feel even worse. I guess I just need some tough love, a kick in the butt, a push, something! I thought maybe if I post here, it will help, because I don't want to let my team or myself down by gaining again this week.
I am feeling similar. I was doing really well over the summer and put back on a lot because I just lost some focus. What if you make a solid plan for tomorrow? You could pre-track, prep your meals and plan for one amazing snack or dessert that you know you will enjoy that fits in your calorie budget. Maybe that will get you on a track and help move forward.4 -

This is honestly me! All of 2020 I kept going back and forth between I’m gonna get healthy and get my life together and then my depression kicks in and I go off track and don’t get back on it. This year I turn 30 and it’s inspiring me to want to make my 30s to be better than my 20s! We can do this together girl!5 -

Well, it was better than yesterday, since I forced myself to work out today! I am going to focus on logging and staying under calories tomorrow. I really want a loss this week.7 -
Almost went over calories with a chocolate covered granola bar tonight...but when I logged it in the app and saw that I was going to be over..I took it out. Those are sooo hard to resist for me. I really ... really like them..lol. This is a win!7

Went to the gym last night. Most of December I was one of 4-5 people there.
I was hoping the pandemic would mean that the “new year new me” people wouldn’t be out this year. But they are. Cause of capacity limits I couldn’t even get near the weights section so I just hit the treadmill. I guess I’ll be paying for a monthly treadmill membership until all of these people give up on their new year resolutions.1 -

@eriknj I always wanted to scream at them to get off my bike. LOL But...I was new at one point too, who knows? Maybe some of them will stick with it?1 -
1/5 was in the WIN column. However, I fell into an old and not so healthy pattern. Sometimes I'll sit down at the computer and just work, thinking 'just one more thing...' and before I know it, I've skipped breakfast and lunch and it's 3 or 4pm. Then I am inclined to make poor food choices. This is something I really want to work on. Hints welcome!

Hahaha.
I agree with what you said though. We all start somewhere. It’s just a fact that 80-90% people who think a new calendar year means they are going to change don’t stick to it. I think you need a better reason to want to lose weight than “eating too many Christmas cookies” in December.1 -

@rawrxamberx .2 is practically nothing! Its basically a few sips of water. You are doing a great job! Next week will reward you well!1
