@annabananamc I like the new pic! I should scrounge up a picture of me. I keep meaning to have my husband take a picture since I haven't gotten my hair cut in 16 months. My hair hasn't been this long since circa 1975. LOLOL

@cmhubbard92 - your before and after are so inspiring. The dedication to health and well being over such a long period of time is awesome!

As for me, I am chugging along. Had a great day of yard work and celebrating my hubby's #62, even with a tiny piece of cake, while staying on plan. Balance is my mantra!

Everyone - today starts a brand new week - let's make it awesome!

Nice picture! Good job just taking a small piece of cake!

    MUAC for 4/11:
    Tracked: yes
    Under: no
Exercised: yes - 3 miles with the pup and hubby

It's happened before--I did not track yesterday until this morning, and I was too far over. I need to keep tracking each meal time.

Thanks! I actually went to work and did some filing, while my husband went to his mom's (about 15 minutes away) to help her with some computer stuff. She is still technically in quarantine, so I did not go, but riding down and back with my husband felt like we were spending time together on a Sunday, which is his only day off.

@DaffyGirl88 Definitely take a picture!! Last year, my husband went five months between cuts due to the lock down, and I most certainly got a picture of him with a mop of curls, that are normally kept short.

@richmondwriter, live and learn, as they say! When I am successfully working this program, and I haven't logged my food yet for the day, I always make sure to catch up on my logging before dinner, so I know exactly how many calories I have left to work with!

@HASWLRS Thanks. I am determined that I will be healthy, but sometimes I wonder why life is filled with so many problems. I can’t even say it’s one problem after another because instead it’s one problem stacked on top of another.

I am doing everything I know how to do to be faithful to God, strong and healthy for my family and it’s soooooo hard. I know that I can’t let circumstances that I can’t control ruin my progress and I’m trying to get back on track, it’s just not going the way I would like it to.

I appreciate everyone in this community who have continued to fight for the healthy body and life they want despite all that life throws their way.

I was very tired yesterday from the COVID vaccine, but feel good today. Unfortunately, I also have a bad case of poison ivy from the other day, one of my eyes is very swollen. This is not related to the shot, as I had already started to develop it before then. But I'm not sure if I will be able to take steroids this time to treat it, due to the vaccine. I am seeing dermatologist today.
