@JoDavo66 Hope you had a lovely birthday.I still have some Lemon Drizzle cake left so only having a tiny piece & hoping the rest of my family finish it off !
My fave snacks are Greek 0% yoghurt with an apple & sprinkling of cinnamon & half teasp runny honey.I am trying to cut the honey.I keep a supply of walnuts,almonds & mixed seeds in the fridge.I can't buy peanut butter anymore as I just love it & end up dipping my spoon in the jar far to often.
@kerdio8 well done with your weight loss & walking & attempting a run.You are doing really well.
@CharmingPassion don't be too hard on yourself.We have all been there.Sometimes the scales are hard on us after we feel that we've done everything right.Just keep going & your efforts will be rewarded.

@izzyred9400 & @shnerb00 my birthday was good thanks, couldn't do much with the level of lockdown &,I was still munching in easter treats.- so the 1lb gain shows how good it was! 🤣🤣🤣
I love peanut butter 🥜 too. Definitely avoid it.2 -

Still trying to keep consistent in my eating. I blew it big time on Saturday. So far so good for this week. We had some storms on the weekend so I had a problem getting my steps in:

I was in a lot of pain this week so these numbers are lower, but coming back slowly. I think I just way overdid it last week and it caught up with me and took a couple days of stretching and stuff to loosen back up the overworked muscles. But back on it today4 -

Man, I way underestimated how helpful it is for your partner to share your way of eating!
My husband loves his potatoes etc, and I've been keto. The past couple of weeks he's joined me (as a detox, he doesn't actually need to lose weight.)
It has been so much easier to only have to think about and make one meal. He's not snacking on stuff I can't have. AND he understands a lot better now.
I really didn't think it was a big deal, but having him join me opened my eyes to the mental load, extra work and temptation I'd overlooked.
Plus, as everyone here knows, everything is easier when it's a team effort as opposed to going it alone.
He'll be back to his normal diet soon, and I don't begrudge him his fried potatoes, but it really is nice for the moment.5
