@joone_9 I'm in the same boat regarding the foot intake. This has been a major struggle for more than a month - I get on track for a bit and then it all falls apart again.

I'm just hoping that being here, logging in, keeping track will eventually lead to getting back in that weight-loss groove. I've also upped my daily calories. Thinking my body was just in a revolt. Not sure if that is going to work or not.

Not sure how but I have faith that we'll do it!!!!

    ✅ - take 15,000 steps. 18,800. Okay - I can walk a lot. Just wish I could stop eating a lot!

❎ - eat at/under calorie goal - no. that went really bad, again, again.

    Yeah!!!! for the full house!
BOOOO for the cancelled hair appointment. I hope you were able to reschedule?

I cut mine a few weeks ago, and the week after and last week and finally think it is okay. But that is no different from what I do every few years. Much easier when your hair is a frizzy mess anyway!

Would love to have wavy hair! Mine is straight as a dye! Fine, but lots of it! Looke like a cave women that’s been in hibernation! But am well & been able to keep safe, unlike so many others so abominable hair is a minor irritation! My lovely hairdresser is going to do mine today, after she should really have finished work ..... 😊

    ✅ - take 15,000 steps. 20,300

❎ - eat at/under calorie goal. No. Not as terrible as it has been, but way over and pretty bad.

Today was a very intense, disturbing day. I live in central Hamilton, which has been hit pretty hard by the Opioid Crisis. While walking with my five-year-old grandson through an alley we regularly walk through because it has some beautiful murals, we encountered the body of a woman slumped against a garage door. By appearances the victim of an overdose. I'm not sure my grandson believed my story that the paramedics in the ambulance were doctors that would help this silent woman, but he is too young to have words to put to the horror of the situation that he sensed. I've seen a lot with all the walking I've been doing this past year. But this was beyond the pale. The world is a harrowing place for so many these days.

Good afternoon! Beautiful sunny day here! Ideal dog walking weather / garden day today!
    Got scalped yesterday!

That sounded like a horrific tragedy to witness @lauriekallis, and for your grandson ...awful.

I am feeling a bit burned out at the moment, so not going to worry about logging food at least until the beginning of June. I've been logging food for the best part of 5 years now, so if I haven't got an appreciation and understanding of calorie content and portion sizes by now I never will lol.

Focus for the next 5 weeks will be:

    ✅ - take 15,000 steps. 24,000

    ✅ - maintain a calorie deficit in the 500-750 range. 545.

I'm trying a new approach for the rest of this month...lol...meaning until the end of May (unless of course I start gaining weight then I'll adjust sooner). I've set my MFP to "sedentary" and to eating back my exercise calories so that I can get a relatively accurate "net calories" report to look at to try to understand how things are working. (I promise to log every morsel from here on in. That has been lagging when I took a two week break from logging last month). And, this seems to match with my fitbit calories burned number. It seems like a lot of calories - but I am walking a lot and walking briskly these days - I guess I'll see how this approach flies!

    Mornin’all! Beautiful sunny day here!
I live next to a reservoir & there are always loads of Canadian geese here .... noisy beggars!
Well, they are all coupled up & having there goslings ... real privilege to see; lots of cute little ones!
Mind you, won’t be saying that in a few weeks, when they are bigger, braver & come to visit us residents - goose poo gets everywhere - is messy & really sticks to your shoes 🤣🤣🤣

    3. Water. 1.
    4. Not counting this as is exercise - hobbling!

Gotta tell you @Janatki - you either have to count hobbling as meeting your exercise goal or drop your list down and make this 5 out of 5 or I'm going sick all a whole flock of Hamilton geese on you and throw in a few swans for good measure! Then you'll have even more ruckus! And I have one handy. And she plays football. (You can see her ball in the bottom left of the photo - waiting for her "off the nest" time."dwo0izv0bu57.jpg

@Lauriekallis - a football playing goose! Brilliant! Got my heart broken this afternoon - witnessed some crows raiding a nest of goose eggs after what looks like the parent abandoning the nest! 💔Love/ hate nature
