@cre804 - I’m glad you’re recovering from your bronchitis. My mother is very susceptible to bronchitis. I know it can take a long time to get over the cough and feel better. I hope you get some relief from the cortisol injection while you figure out the best long-term solution for your knee. Take care!3

Good evening everyone. Hope everyone have a great Friday. I took my kids to school, went home and worked out, ran 2.3 miles and 25 minutes of weight lifting. Then had to quit to go help my husband with a job he is doing. He is in construction and does side jobs bit had no help today so he asked me to help.
Tomorrow my daughter has a cheer camp, so the plan is to drop her off and workout while shes there, and to clean the house because i havent been home any of my days off this past week so my house needs some cleaning done.3 -
@PatriceFitnessPal
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. I think that endorphin thing is broken for me! I always feel glad that I have done a workout, but I don't think it really lifts my mood. I hate sweating, which probably doesn't help. Lately I have been doing my workout in the evenings and going to bed after, so maybe there isn't any time for it to kick in. While I somewhat enjoy my latest youtube workouts, I mostly see it as a necessary evil. I have never liked sports except for horse riding. Very much agree about putting on the shoes being the hardest.
The negative selftalk is mostly because of my chronic fatigue I think. I don't have the energy to do a lot of things, most of my time is spend behind the computer. So then I feel bad buying things that will rarely get used, or take a while for me to get to them. I used to own a lot of painting supplies, but rarely managed to paint. It kind of upset me everytime I saw the stuff, so I ended up giving most of it away. I did get more jigsaw puzzles for myself. I think that is a pretty safe purchase because it is a low energy activity that I really enjoy. They also take time, but I know I will get through them eventually!
I hope you will be able to find your stride again soon! I find it very easy to fall off the wagon, and easier still to let it snowball into another day, and another, and another... I am okay with the fact that it happens, nobody is perfect, but I really don't want it to go on any longer than a week. So crawling on the wagon again today!

Good morning Shape Shifters. I had another bad food day! I am over it now though. I have been feeling awful and my weigh in was not pretty. I had a lazy day and didn't manage to workout. I need to pay a little more attention to my sleep again as well. Happy Saturday everyone4 -

This a sad, but very deserved gain. It took a lot for me to step on the scale this morning because I have pretty much been binge eating 5 days of the week. I am still not sure what triggers this, but I find it interesting it started right after my mom left. Maybe I can't afford to go off plan at all, regarding my schedule and the foods I eat.7 -

Gm yall. I'm here. And it's just been a stressful week for me and the fellow citizens of the county I live in. I'm in Southeast Missouri and our lovely county jail allowed 5 inmates to escape earlier this week. 3 of the 5 are highly dangerous. Well 3 of them have been caught. 1 of the super dangerous dudes is still out and 1 other who steals cars. I live out in bfe of the county with the 100 acre woods as my back yard so needless to say I have been a little nervous 😓.8
-
And I forgot to mention, that the county failed to notify for 12 hours that these fine upstanding citizens were out and about. And they also had a good little head start4

@Pupowl don't let a minor slip up( which I know may not seem minor to you right now) put you on the path to destruction.Youve been doing so well you can get back on it just be strong.
I'm alone in the house this weekend as all the men have gone to London for the Arsenal v Manchester United football/soccer match.I haven't planned anything but just out to meet a friend for a catch up.
Hope everyone has a good Saturday 👍5 -

Good job facing your feelings and getting on the scale for your weigh-in, @Pupowl. That’s a victory!
Thanks so much for staying engaged with the Shape Shifter team through the hard times! It’s easier to post when things are going well but it takes more fortitude, honesty, and trust for us to keep learning and improving.
I noticed the connection to your mother’s visit, too. I was wondering if you missed her and might need to find another coping mechanism or need to stick closer to your typical schedule. It’s great that you’re reflecting and testing out different strategies. I always appreciate the insights you share. Keep up the good momentum!4 -

@izzyred9400 , yes it's been scary not to mention that these men had a good head start and they failed to notify everyone for 12 hours. They now have 4 of them in custody so it just leaves the car thief out and about.1

This week has been very hard and a lot of emotional eating. We had to say goodbye to one of our dogs last August and last Tuesday we said goodbye to our only cat. My husband decided to donate our cat supplies to a local shelter today and he brought home a 4 month old husky/great Pyrenees mix rescue.7 -
@Armygirlarmyof1 - How scary! I hope you had someone to check in with to help you feel safer during the manhunt. What a relief that they caught all the prisoners who had escaped!
@izzyred9400 - Enjoy your ‘alone’ time. I think Manchester and Arsenal were big rivals when they were in the same — Is that right?
@jessicakrall8 - Thank you for another great weekly challenge. I didn’t get to participate in the BINGO challenge this week but everyone was really active and it was fun to read about all the success!1 -

@jessicakrall8 I completely forgot to log my weight this morning.
We are about to start a year long project at home, remodeling the whole main floor, mostly the kitchen and flooring throughout. we move a bunch of the furniture out of the way, rearranged some kitchen stuff. Actual demolition will not start this weekend. It will be so much fun.3 -

Good morning Shape Shifters. Not much going on here. I did laundry, got some groceries and had my puzzle haul delivered. Now the only problem is that I don't have enough room to put them all away. I did my workout in the evening, but I started a little later than planned, so still a bit short on sleep.
Thank you everyone for the support and kindness. I really appreciate it.
Happy Sunday everyone
