My steps were truly sad this week. The weather has been chilly here and I got the blues as if we skipped summer lol. Was so close to packing up and moving to Florida! Good news, next week temps in the 80's Woot woot!

New decade. I was hoping for the 70’s before my trip to Newfoundland. We go in a little over 2 weeks. In 16 pounds I will have lost 100 pounds.

Congrats on the loss!I am still alive, but I have fallen down a rabbit hole. I am not stepping on the scale this week; I will face the music on Wednesday. I have a wedding and Father's Day this weekend, but I will be back on Monday to try again.
I know you can get back on track. Try to eat mindfully over the next few days.Friday Weigh-In

PW: 143.9 pounds (down 1.2 pounds)
CW: 147.7 pounds (up 3.8 pounds)
Since starting back on my journey at the beginning of the year I had been doing well.
I had many weeks with losses and was losing slow and steady which is how I like to do it.
The weeks I gained I felt they were reasonable, normal gains/fluctuations.
Well, since being unwell at the beginning of May and losing 6 pounds in the course of 2 weeks my body has had a lot of trouble righting itself back to slow and steady.
I had 1 week when I managed to maintain the loss then after getting back to regular eating consistently I gained 4.3 pounds then tried to get back on track and lost 1.4 pounds then lost 1.2 pounds so thought I was back at it then today I gained 3.8 pounds.
I know weight goes up and down but I don't like the bigger jumps up and down.
I know my body has a mind of it's own and doesn't always do what I want it to do or what I think it should do and it fluctuates as it pleases.
I also know I have been doing very well with walking most days for about an hour but I have still been struggling with healthy eating, cooking from scratch, cutting out junkfood, cutting out processed food, and controlling the amount I eat.
When I go through weeks of bigger ups and downs I have to push myself to stay the course as whenever I see bigger gains I get frustrated and want to throw in the towel.
I have worked too hard to lose it to allow myself to gain it all back so I am working to keep myself pushing on.
The good news is, I was actually up around 5-7 pounds on other days when I did a quick scale check (not always at the right time of day though) so I am at least happy that seeing those gains and seeing 150 again shocked me enough to turn things around enough to only have to post a 3.8 pound gain today.
Will keep trekking along but gets frustrating when I was so close to 140 about a month ago and now I am close to 150 again.
Yes, I know, I did it once, and I can do it again but as you all know it is a tiring process!
I do know the reward at the end will be worth it when I hit my goal weight though.
So I keep chugging along.
Choo choo!
Is it bad that when I see choo choo I see the word chocolate and want chocolate?!!!!8 -

It is all about frame of mind. I have had a groin injury this week, which threw me off track a bit. But deep down I know I can easily be thrown off track. I have Type 2 as well so being off track is not good. At least the bottom line is I know I cannot be off track, where before on or off track it wasn't has important as it is now.3 -
About to head out to my next 5km race of the season.
My Godddddddd I hope I get under 27 minutes3 -
