Wishing you and your husband the best, Ann. Cat, that IS exercise.
I'm still struggling with eating. :/

Today, I am going to complete my exercise, track every morsel of food that I eat, and stay within my calorie limit.

    Hey Randi, ME TOO!!!!!
I am snowed in on the mountain anyway, so time and motive.
3 eggs and a handful of grape tomatoes for breakfast. I do better with exercise on protein. I know it is supposed to be carbs, but carbs just make me hungry and i crave bad stuff.
If we can be good for the next 3 days, maybe the Monday weigh in will make us smile. I plan to try.

I ended up a little higher on calories than I would have liked, but overall it was a good day. Cat, I chose a high protein breakfast today, too. The higher protein seems to get my day off to a better start. Ann, I hope your husband is improving. I'm glad you have the dogs.

Good morning. The puppy is asleep. LOL

I really want to be a part of this group, just having a hard time getting me time to do it.

Cat, I saw your post of eggs and tomatoes for breakfast and had to chuckle. That is one of my favorites, and I thought I was the only one. LOL

Went to a yoga fusion class yesterday. With the pandemic and two major surgeries, I have not been to a class in a few years. It was terrific and I will be going back 🙂

Up a tiny bit this week, playing with my program to see what works and what doesn't, but I feel better and found some "me time "

    Stay strong.

Spent 3 days at my youngest sons house keeping a Great Pyranees while his family traveled. They had all my favorite junk foods and I caved. Up 1.5 pounds and wondering if I can unload it by the Monday weigh in. Eating well today plus exercised. Babysit the youngest grands next two
Days, so it will be hard.

    Lost 12 ounces.
After 3 says of not being able to exercise or track calories, I am thrilled just not to have gained weight.
Drink lemon water, Randi. That is my granny’s unbloat remedy and it works for me.
Fingers crossed for everyone to have a positive result when stepping on the dreaded scales 😊

In a funk. It always happens at this time of year. I don't mind the cold, and I actually like snow, but the lack of sunlight is killing me. I feel lethargic and I'm craving carbs. :s

I can relate Randi. When it snows, I eat all day.

Also missing: Energy, motivation, sense of well-being, etc., etc., etc. If you have found them, please return them immediately.
Found: Lethargy and intense cravings for carbohydrates. If they are yours, please make arrangements to pick them up immediately.

    Good morning.

Randi, you hit the nail on the head! The lack of sunshine 🌞 can be very difficult. I think we are all struggling.

I hope to get to the Y today to do some strength training on the machines. I am not a gym rat, by any means, but until I can build up some strength, the machines are the safest.

Started a yoga fusion class and really liked it. Need to make it a habit.

Weather guy says sun is on the way. We will see!!

    Have a great day.

Jan, you had shoulder surgery not that long ago if my memory is correct. Machines are a good idea.
    What is yoga fusion?
Fingers are crossed that we all have a great day.

Shoulder surgery was in May and several months of PT. Got lazy again and knew I needed a to do something.
Yoga fusion is a mix of yoga and light weights for some strength training. Fun!

Today I tracked nothing, but I ate pretty well if i ignore four Hershey kisses my granddaughter shared with me. Exercise was 20 minutes of dancing to the Ghostbusters theme song while batting a beach ball back and forth. My grandgirl invented this and calls it DANCEBALL. It’s pretty intense for a 70 year old. Not so much if you are four😂

Yoga fusion sounds interesting. I will poke around on youtube and see what I can find.

Cat, that sounds like a workout to me. Today has been a bust. Hubby and I got the shingles vaccine yesterday and we’ve been feeling lousy today. I did some slow walking in the house and some gentle yoga, but that’s all I could handle.

Saturday was a good day. I tracked loosely, but did well and just missed 10,000 steps. I need to remember to look at my steps before bed so maybe I can round them out. LOL

    Up 3/4 of a pound.
I can do the food part but finding time/energy/motivation to exercise on babysitting days eludes me. When I mess up the eating part it is because i am being bad snd i know what I am doing. I feel like I can control that. Last week I had four days of up at five and not home til 7 at night babysitting. Four days with no intentionsl exercise. I feel like I can’t control this.
    Am I making excuses?
    Probably.
I need to find a way to overcome this.
