Camping or Luxury Hotel ~ I've only been camping once and that was "glamping". I'll take the luxury hotel!

@itlaydee Surprisingly not too bad. But I didn't venture to try anything too crazy. Definitely couldn't do it for more than a couple weeks. But it was great to break my plateau.

There's so much going on right now that it's getting very hard to have time to get on here and be a part of this group.

Sorry, I'm going to have to drop out of this challenge

Got a beautiful walk in - up to 2 miles. Thinking that is as far as I am going to push myself for the next month or so. Washed the back deck, cleaned a little. Tried on some clothes for trip. The good news is that a lot of the dresses and bathing suits didn't fit (another big bag to go to goodwill), the bad news is that a lot of the dresses and bathing suites didn't fit. I am packing light! LOL. I always bring more than I need anyway.

Would you rather be able to talk to a loved one who's passed away or win $10,000 in the lottery?

I would love to be able to talk to my dad ...boy do I miss him ... :'(

Streak broken, but it was a good run. Going through a rough patch over here and not really recording things. Making good choices, just not being as strict with logging and it finally showed this week. Well over a year of losses, so this one stings. Onward and downward. Much love yall.

Tomorrow is the day I have been dreading. I will be 60. The bank changed my account to a seniors account. The nerve of them. 😂 The positive is I will be entering my 60’s at a healthier weight than when I entered my 50’s. 😀

I start PT today, kind of silly because it will be another two weeks before I can go back, but at least it will show me the correct stretches to do on my own. This is my last day of Nutrisystem Food and it is pre-logged so have my stats. Here is what I found out.
    1. It works - I got over my plateau and continued to lose - lost almost 5 pounds in two weeks. 😁
    2. It was super easy to follow 😁 but, had we had to cook two meals daily - one for me, one for Greg. ☹️
    3. The food was edible - not fantastic, not gross 😐
    4. I did not meet my protein goal most days ☹️, but met carb, fat, sodium and fiber goals almost every day 😁.
    5. Most days the calories were about 1,350 - ranging from a little under 1,200 to 1,600. I wasn't hungry. 😁
    6. I ususally eat 5 fruits/veggies a day - but switched to 4 veggies one fruit on Nutrisystem. 😐
    6. It's doable as a quick fix, I couldn't do it long term. 😐
    7. Overall - I am extremely happy with the weight loss. So overall score! 😁 But am really looking forward to cooking again! 👩‍🍳
    8. Next step - see if I gain it all back?

I've read a few posts this week about people being disappointed with their losses. After nearly 3 years of my new eating plan and nearly 100lb lost, i just want to share my experience.

Weight loss is not linear! The loss you've earned definately does not turn up on weigh in day!!!
I record my calories in and out every day and work out the loss I'm due ..... over a rolling month it almost always works out right to the .2 of a pound.
I totally get how focused on the scales we become (i take mine on vacation with me!!!)
But please don't let the scales become a demotivation!!! Our daily weight varies so much due to salt, water, carbohydrates, how hot it is, cortisol levels, exercise done, last weeks big loss, etc etc etc

All that effort does show up on the scales eventually! Promise.

This is a very inspiring post. What an amazing loss. Did you do anything in particular to get the extra 1000 steps each day? Great week. Next stop, onderland.

This is so true. As long as we are being honest with both our exercise and eating, the scales will eventually move in the right direction. I hope you had a great time away.
