    WEIGH IN UPDATE
PLEASE WEIGH IN NOW: @littlebabekitty @bhagatcaroline
    Reminder To Weigh in Tomorrow To The Following: @19shmoo69 @megnolia82 @sleepygirl79 @laurelfit57 @littlebabekitty @bhagatcaroline @morenin

@baodell17724 I'll go report your day change, we have a problem as I just logged your weight in tomorrow's spot because last Saturday is taken from last week's weight. I suggest my not logging this one and you just going to the next Saturday but for now tomorrow's weigh in is 241.6 (usually takes a few days and Sat is the end of the week so I suggest next time request the day change and I'll get it moved and then ask you to weigh in). Meanwhile decide if you want 241.6 down for next Saturday, last Saturday where it's too late for the chance to be a team winner, or not logging until next Sat which I'd recommend (the week for spreadsheet is Sun-Sat if that helps you understand what I'm saying as you want to weigh in for this last week and your last Sat is already logged for it on the first day of the last week). I logged yours in tomorrow's spot since I can't move your day and need to request it first.

@micaroo4 I'll do the nightstand tomorrow looking forward to it thank you!

HI gang! Heading to bed I ended up dealing with the spreadsheet for longer than planned and I'll catch up tomorrow, have a great Sunday!

    Mission Declutter
    Sunday's mission
We all have one of those areas, that every time we look at it, we think oh my God I have to declutter that! Typically, it's an area that, right after you declutter it, minutes later you look at it and the clutter is back. Today's assignment is to identify that area, and sit down with pen and paper and figure out what types of things are collecting there, and what you can do to make the clutter stop happening. Perhaps it's setting up some kind of a bin to hold the things that keep cluttering up the area. Perhaps it's putting a different piece of furniture nearby that will be a catch-all for the things that end up on that spot. Maybe it means putting labels on drawers and bins so everyone in the house knows where their stuff is supposed to go. Identify your OMG area, go online and look at organizational supplies to see what's available, and plan what you'll do to try and fix it.

My area used to be the entryway in winter. The solution ended up being: a mat for the shovels to stand while the snow melts off, another mat for the boots, a bench to sit on to remind everyone to take off their boots, and a basket for the hats and mittens.

@digger61 I do, too. You are setting yourself up for success by canning all that stuff. It must be a lot of work, though! Have a great week, too!

@865jessica @morenin Congrats on the losses!

@micaroo4 I am behind already lol. I didn't have time to do my nightstand yesterday, I will do it today. I'm thinking I may not have time to do the challenge Mon-Thurs as I have such a long day but I'll try.

Hi all. We were not able to get Comic-Con tickets, unfortunately. BUT...we have one more chance to get them: at the end of October, tickets to the general public go on sale (yesterday's sale was for returning attendees). So, hopefully, we have better luck. The sleep doctor wants me to get a new sleep study done (I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea years ago). He said that my waking up to go to the bathroom every 2-3 hours can be a sign of sleep apnea. We went to the street fair at about 11 and it was hot but nice to walk around. My knee started hurting and I didn't bring my cane, so I was kind of having a hard time. We went back later after dark and listened to some bands. My knee was really bothering me so we went home. This morning, I am FINALLY going to water aerobics with one of my friends. For dinner tonight, I am making this recipe that @vegan4lyfe2012 might like (and you might, too!):
The Best Black Bean Burgers I've Ever Had - https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/best-black-bean-burgers/ My husband made these a few months ago and they really are good. The best part is that they don't fall apart when you are cooking them! I'm making homemade thick-cut oven fries to go with them.

Getting my cleaning and organizing done before the next class starts next month. Got through the freezers and tossed a lot of stuff that I wasn’t eating and that has gone past its Best Buy/Sell By dates. Next up is fridge and pantry, vacuuming, dusting. Wash the walls I’m going to try to get to today. If not will pick a night during the week to do. Washing floors might have to wait until it’s not so wet out. Dogs, rain and dirt don’t fair well for floors.

Need to make sure I eat healthier. I was less than 7 pounds from being under 200lbs then gained like 4 pounds. Frustrating with the next class coming up and will have to stay away from gym to get classwork done. At least after this course I’ll be halfway through.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

    Sunday weigh in megnolia82

    CW: 211.2

Ok so I spent the week undoing the damage of last week I guess :)

Had a good week. I got a little too busy and stayed up later than I wanted. I made a big realization about my sleep. Less sleep = less active during the day also = worse eating.

This shouldn’t be a groundbreaking discovery, but I have literally gone decades on sleep deprivation. I had a couple weeks going to sleep before 10pm and the difference is astounding.

So that’s my goal! Bed before 10!

Go MISSION SLIMPOSSIBLES with half of us in the green and being 3rd place by pounds! @19shmoo69 @865jessica great job in first place by pounds and being team winners along with @bethanie0825 !

@megnolia82 I love your goal and am glad you're addressing the sleep issue, congrats on the great week!

@gemwolf110 I have to laugh at the rain and floors and pets, I mopped earlier and my two cats would NOT get out of the kitchen when I was done and it was wet! It's not rainy and they haven't been outside but it was frustrating. It's exciting you're almost halfway through school! Is it both food and exercising that is harder during school?

@trooworld Oh shoot I hope you're able to get tickets in October that really stinks. Have fun at water aerobics today can't wait to hear how it goes! Yum those burgers sound awesome let us know what you think of them. She has good recipes so I'm hoping it's a good one!! Whoa Sam's Club has pickup I didn't know that?!

@19shmoo69 Thanks for asking I'm going to skip this challenge but thanks for asking! Have a busy week.

@baodell17724 Thanks! She already moved you so I'll just replace your weigh in Sat with your updated weigh in.

@micaroo4 Oh boy I have a few of those areas! I worked on the garage earlier which is one (and my closet) and will look into possible storage ways. It's actually a mess from bags of clothes I couldn't drop off during Covid and a bunch of cardboard for a yard project so it's more just messy than stuff to organize (breaking down the boxes would definitely help that area from building up).

@Digger61 WOW I'm impressed that's amazing how much food you put up! I've been doing a lot of herb harvesting and made compound butter (butter with herbs) and pesto and the dehydrator has been busy. Have a wonderful week!

@TeresaW2024 Yay for good sleep! Pets sure interfere with sleep I was planning to sleep in this morning and Asher woke me up meowing at the time I usually get up. Have an awesome dinner with everyone and carrot fries sound delicious!

HI gang! Been doing well today I skipped a formal workout and cut back my huge lavender bushes and mopped the floors and vacuumed then organized all the recycle in the garage. After this I'm headed in the garden for a bit then I need to clean my nightstand and think about my garage. I have some charity stuff to finish up too I need a day to catch up with everything darnit! Once this week is over the woman I'm working with will be out-of-town for two weeks so almost time I'll be able to slow down a bit. Have a great Monday!

Rainbow- cherry yogurt, quinoa, sunflower seeds, mango, kale, cabbage, zucchini, Swiss chard, blueberry, ginger, cinnamon

Mine is definitely the basement finished room. I don’t spend much time there so it turned into a catch all. Need to purge a chunk of it or find bins, shelving to organize the stuff.

    Mission Declutter

    Monday's mission

This is a kitchen declutter, but if you are not the primary cook in the house, do NOT declutter the cook's stuff!

Instead of looking at one area at a time, try looking at one category at a time. For today's mission, look at your cooking utensils. Spatulas, bowl scrapers, wooden spoons, measuring cups & spoons, whisks, mashers, graters, ladles, slotted spoons, and single-purpose gadgets like candy thermometers, garlic press, citrus juicers, spice grinders and the like. Take it one category at a time so you don't get overwhelmed. For example, start with spatulas, and then move on to the next category.

Look in every drawer and cabinet to find all the like-kind items. If you have many of the same item, eliminate anything broken, burnt, or discolored (unless it's a favorite). Then look at the duplicates and decide how many you really need; put the chosen ones in an appropriate place.

A couple of tips: if you are keeping extras "just in case", then pare it down to just ONE extra. I have multiple bowl scrapers, but it's because I don't want to have to stop and wash the first one; I want to be able to grab a clean one and keep cooking. But realistically, you probably need only one slotted spoon. For other items, there are likely utensils that you never ever use. If the cost to replace it low, get rid of it. Ask yourself, if it broke, would you replace it? If the answer is no, get rid of it.

At the very least, finding all the like-kind items and grouping them together will help organize the kitchen, even if you don't get rid of anything.

@19shmoo69 @865jessica congrats on achiving 1st place by lbs lost!! And congrats to the whole team for achieving 3rd place by pounds. A special shoutout goes to @bethanie0825 for making it onto the leaderboard!

@laurelfitt57 @sleepygirl79 Congrats on the losses!

@megnolia82 I'm glad you had a good week. That's an important realization.

@Katmary71 Yeah me too! It does. :( Thanks! The burgers were delicious and easy to make. I recommend them! Yes, they do! At least the one by us...check about yours. Wow that's a lot of chores/housework! And great exercise. Ugh I totally forgot to do my nightstand. Maybe I'll have time to do it this morning before work.

Hi all. I did make it to water aerobics yesterday with my friend. It felt really good. The pool was large so there was no need to worry if there would be too many people and I wouldn't be able to attend (this was part of my anxiety). I got a lock so another part of my anxiety (people stealing stuff) was relieved. The water was pretty warm and it was sunny out and kind of hot so it was perfect. There were a lot of other attendees and they were very welcoming. It was nice because the attendees were the only non-staff people at the pool, so I didn't have to worry about onlookers (another part of my anxiety). The class itself was good: we got in the water a little ahead of time and just kind of puttered around. I ended up burning 600 cals. I will go back with or without my friend. I came home and my DH and I ran a few errands. I was pooped out so I took a nap. It was a nice day and a nice weekend.

@Katmary71 Do you do anything special with your lavender? I have a room spray that I use every night that I love. It will be good that you will have time to slow down for a couple of weeks. You will have time to get all your decluttering done! :)

@micaroo4 I missed the Sunday mission, but my area of clutter is my closet. There is just too much going on in there and I will work this week to organize and figure out if I really need all the shoes I own. :D I like the Monday assignment! My drawers aren’t that cluttered, but it is time to take everything out and clean the drawers and dividers. And I’m sure I will find a few things that can go into the Good Will box.

@trooworld It's a bummer that you didn’t get the tickets, but it's good that you still have a chance. That is interesting about getting up so much through the night and a possible connection to having sleep apnea. I get up throughout the night, too, and am always happy if I can sleep more than 3 hours at a time. Yay for going to water aerobics and for having a positive experience! It’s such great exercise, and I’m happy you will be going back. :)

Good morning, and happy Monday! I’m loving our Decluttering Challenge! These prompts are a great and fun way to do something together. Thank you, @micaroo4, for inspiring us to get our homes in order. :) Today, I will do a hamstrings and glutes workout, organize my kitchen drawers, and work on a grocery list. Dinner will be this BBQ pork I bought at Aldi. I think I will serve it with mashed potatoes and peas. Have a great day! :)

My body is out to get me, I'm convinced of it. I am routinely heaviest on my official weigh-in days for some reason. Weigh-in day yesterday- 216. Very next day- 214.3. Bad body, naughty.
