I do indeed, Linda. I have fresh cukes ready to be cut up. I wouldn't offer you cokes yo drink though. How about cool water?

Yes, cokes would not be my favorite drink at the moment. With our cold weather here I would take some herbal tea. Cool water would be a good thing for you to drink with your weather. Oh, the "jokes" we could tell about our different weathers.

It "makes" me smile to think about us trading weather and how impossible that would be. I guess we just have to deal with what we have or move. I like where we live so I just need to quit complaining and enjoy the variety of weather we have.

Hot Herbal tea would be nice instead of cold Cokes. I'm glad you can get Luke's to send some to Linda, Judith. Could you send me some little baby cukes at the same time? They are so refreshing!

Tea and cukes would be great. Cutting the cukes into "cubes" on your tray make a beautiful design with the round carrot slices.

The vegetable tray is sounding prettier with each addition. Some dogs like vegetables so watch out for the sneaky dog called Ruby. She will eat the whole platter if she gets a chance to do it. She is known by the name of "Rubes" by her friends.

Yes Linda some dogs sure are sneaky in stealing food and in the process make a big mess which means we will have to call in Mr Green Jeans to bring his Cleaning company to Scrub up the mess Rubes and her friends made while sneaking the food off the Buffet Table.

I need to thank Mr Green Jeans for a splendid cleaning company he has. Hopefully we will not need him very often to clean up after the dogs. When I would catch Ruby getting food off the table, she knew she was doing something wrong and would scurry away like "crabs" to hide thinking I would not notice. LOL

Linda you sure made me LOL as my Miss Sunshine does same thing, all I have to do is turn my chair around and say her name sternly and she scurry away just like the Crabs do, our fur babies sure are rascals when they want to be; however as she leaps off counter she grabs the Scrap of Food as she scurry away down the hall to hide.

Yes, pets like to grab scraps off the table instead of eating their own food. They also like treats we buy them but we have to use a "strap" of rubber band on the lid on the container to keep her out of it. she will try to open it with her teeth.

Oh boy I sure hear you Linda, my Kitty doesn’t do that but she has learned how to open the lower cupboard doors and proceeds to take her paws and pull the food that is in bags, I have flour and sugar now in a mason jar 🫙 or put the bag inside a storage Food bag but on occasion she did use teeth to break open bag but it turned out to be traps as she sure did not like taste of flour. That cured her from doing that again.

Susan - Aww - how could your sweet little boys be brats? They look so innocent in their pictures. Pictures can be deceiving I know but your dogs look like movie "stars".

Aww Susan your Dogs our “Boys” Archie and Jasper have such sweet faces, I can’t imagine them being Brats… poor Archie and Jasper, no worries Miss Sunshine and Auntie Judith don’t think that. For sure you are not Brats 😆 and Linda I agree they look like movie “Stars” let’s “Start” a new Trend with Saying our “Boys” are Stars!

I find our dog is best behaved when I have her exercise outside on the "trail" near our house. She gets tired and does not cause any problems when she gets home.

Good Traits to have Susan and Linda good to have trails for the Dogs but I have seen lately Dogs walking along the Rails of our local Train Tracks!

Walking along the rails is a good idea. There are rocks as a base for the rails to sit on that can help wear down their "nails". When we were on the farm, we never worried about trimming nails because the rocks took care of that.

Yes living on a farm has many advantages especially with not worrying about trimming Nails as the Rocks took care of that, however with us living along the Beach and the Rails running a long the Shoreline we have a new problem I saw a big “Snail” crawling along the Rails, I sure don’t want a Snail 🐌 crawling up my leg… makes me shudder!

Discarded snail shells can sometimes make a beautiful inlay for jewellery pieces.

Susan, I never thought of that. I am sure the snail shells would make a beautiful Inlay. I use to collect sea shells and make things with them, one a fridge magnet! Susan did you know, A nearby Store in our community named “Lindy” sells snail shells.

I love to go to the Lindy store. I think their awning in front of the doors is so pretty and shady with chairs in front to rest. I hope the weather does not do damage to the lovely awning. "Windy" conditions can ruin the material of the awning.

I didn't know about the Lindy stores, no. Now I am wondering if a Cindy works at your local Lindy store?

There is a girl that works there that is really friendly but her name is not spelled Cindy. She spells it "Sindy" so we may know the same girl.

I didn’t know a Cindy at the Lindy store Susan and Linda I think the gal you are talking about Sindy is not the same girl. But I know a Mindy. Do you know her?

Yes, I do know Mindy from the Lindy store. She is the one who always chews gum so her breath smells "minty".

Hehe, that’s right you can always know when Mindy is in the Lindy Store. Oh boy, can’t think of a word here. I am sure you will have one, sorry!
