It’s been a rough week so far. My husband’s grandfather passed away. The funeral was yesterday.
There has been so much loss the past couple months.
My mom and my best friend’s mom both passed in December and now my husband’s grandfather.
I know it will be ok, it’s just a matter of getting there. I miss my mom so much, it was unexpected and sudden. She was only 71.

    Thank you for reading.

So sorry for your losses - I lost my mom in September-big hugsπŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

    Hi πŸ‘‹πŸ»
May I please roll over last week’s weight of 229.9? My dear MIL passed last week and we’re still away from home. I’m eating all the wrong things. Lots of snow and very, very cold here.

So sorry for your loss - hugsπŸ’•πŸ’•β™₯️

Three day weekend for me - and over 8 in of snow within 3 days - Groundhog was right as now temps are going to be [-] with wind chill the next few days so no spring in sight
    Brrrrrr....
Starting a new workout program tomorrow - printed out relevant pages from her advice for post-menopause and meal prepping today from my app - Fit with Coco - Pulse - 6 weeks, but weeks 1-3 are new then weeks 4-6 are a repeat to see if you have improved + really dialing in my nutrition for heart ❀️ health
I bought a Renpho scale and some areas were good and some needed improvements-surprisingly visceral fat is in good range but my subcanteous fat is in obese range so I'll be working hard on this

Happy Valentine's Day! I love seeing all the decorations, flowers and colourful packages in store. I treated myself to 6 pieces of Valentines candy from my grocers bulk bin, it was enough to hit the spot. I think i should do this more often when i have a sugar craving. Overall my eating has been ok, as long as I don't bring undesirable foods into the home. I'm in week 7 of training for my next half marathon, this is a slippery slope for me - anytime I increase exercise my body demands more food and I generally overdo it. One year ago I was training for my first half marathon and I gained a ton of weight during the process. Balancing all that with a full time desk monkey job... anyways, love reading all the posts, sorry I don't chit chat too much but you're all leading fun and inspiring lives and thanks for sharing!

@indoorsy_ I am sorry I missed your weigh in. I wrote my long post at the same time so I didn't see it. Your weigh in put you in second place for this week, awesome job! I also worry a little about the gym making me more hungry, but guess we will see. That is another reason why I have always loved walking since it doesn't affect my hunger levels at all.

Good morning Shape Shifters. The gym Friday went well and I didn't really have any muscle pains, so weird. My dad visited on Saturday. His birthday was on valentines day. He didn't have any idea for a present, but I got him 3 pair of wintersocks that are made partially out of recycled fishing nets and the purchase also supports some charities which I thought was cool. He was happy with them and put on a pair right away, lol. We then went for a short walk in the national park. It was very frosty and there was still some snow, it was very nice. After that we had an early lunch at the little restaurant by the forest. Of course that was my treat as well. We had a really good time.
My food is in the gutter again and I have asked to move to support for bit. I don't intend to gain any more weight while I am 'gone'. I have not been able to cook for a few weeks and I am so lost on what to eat, nothing is appealing. I plan to pick up some mealsalads and lasagna I can just plop in the oven after the gym today. I need to figure something out and fast. Happy Monday everyone <3

Tinus suddenly started seeing my straw as a toy on the weekend. He was trying to get to it by smacking the outside of my plastic container. So I wanted to take some video of it but then he did this, lol. Don't mind my wheezing, I lost it.

no worries at all :) i see the benefits of walking and i'd like to get a walking pad but i just don't have room for it. i live in a very urban and super hilly area, and believe it or not, no side walks on many streets including mine. all the excuses i know... i hope you're enjoying the gym!

    Good morning everyone!

A combination of being sick and traveling has kept me offline for a few days, but I'm back. I had about 40 posts to catch up on LOL. Not a lot of steps the last few days but they've been worse so I'll take it.

@Pupowl I laughed when I read your comment about your legs being sore. I remember after my first Bobdy Pump class I couldn't lower myself into a chair for several days. LOL

So over this weather we have been having. Got another 8 inches of snow, so that puts us at 28 inches. Then the below zero temps are even worse. I had to leave work to pick up my kids from school yesterday because the roads were so bad, my eldest sons car would have never made it. But tomorrow is the last insanely cold day, then all of the sudden it will be in the 40s, and since there is so much snow, that means endless slush and mud ugh, but at least it will be warm enough to workout again.

I know you're not going to feel sorry for me, @angmarie28 but we're working from home the rest of the week...we're about an hour away from a snowstorm which will give us 10-12' and for coastal Virginia, that NEVER happens...biggest snow we've had in nearly two decades. We don't have much by way of cleanup equipment, so only the main highways are tended...neighborhoods are on their own...it will be middle of next week before this stuff melts as it's not going above freezing until next Tuesday. UGH if I never see snow again, I wouldn't miss it!
