MK!!!! just do 5 minutes on the shelves- JUST 5. Set a timer and when it goes off, stop! If you want to set another 5 min timer, do that, but if not, walk away, give yourself permission to be done for today, or that session. You've got this!

Ohhh, that's a good sleep !! Loved all the data your device gives you! And, damn, almost 2 hrs of Deep, and REM. Well Done !

I got an 84/Good, but did not make my 7.5 hr sleep goal (darn it, might not get that Fitdeck Card done, after all). I got 6h 43m, had 1h 17m of wakeups :p, but DID get to sleep before midnight, ... proud of myself for before midnight sleeping, at least :)

PS - there's an Oura Ring Blog that talks about the shape of your sleeping heart rate chart/curve that is pretty interesting:

    https://ouraring.com/blog/sleeping-heart-rate/

"The Hammock: Relaxed in Bed and Ready to Rise" is ideal. I almost never see that one :p

(The step stool is like a scary monster to me 😬)

My rest day yesterday was good, tho πŸ‘. I get so swollen in my knees/legs after too much exercise. Scale went:
    • up 0.4 on Tue,
    • up 0.3 on Wed,
    • up 1.2 yesterday, and
    • dropped 1.8 today.

    *whoosh!* That's swoll releasing.

WHEW!!! I am slowly (0.2 at a time) coming down from my spike on Monday. So, I have a gain on the books for this week :( I thought 15 pounds was reasonable for the challenge, but at this point I'm not sure I'll make it. I will continue on, though!

Maybe a step stool isn't the right tool. Maybe 2 stools side by side so you can put one foot on one, one on the other, or are you concerned about coming down/up?

Interesting read on the Oura ring site. Mine usually tells me it looks like I had a heavy meal late (just steadily going down), but we don't usually eat past 6, 7 at the latest for the most part. Last night I pounded out 2.5 miles an hour before bed and had the best rest of the week, so.... rofl! my weird body.

Today during a meeting I soaked the kitchen wall where the cats fling their food (so dried on... need to figure out what I can do to make clean up easier. Thinking of stick on subway tile, but haven't done it yet. I also fixed my vacuum and vacuumed the kitchen and hallway. Washed the cats bowls, filled up all water bottles, hung up the wet darks for drying, put lights in. Need to grab them in a few minutes POOF

I took a full set of 'before' pix on the bathroom shelves, but didn't do 5 mins yet 😬. It is 100% the climbing up and down that has me spooked, but unfortunately, there's no way around it. We installed shelves about a foot down from the ceiling, in 3 locations, and 2 others need to be emptied/tidied/reloaded, as I make my way through the new shelves. Plus, you know, the cabinet over the toilet, the cabinet over the sink, the cabinet over the hamper, and the cabint below the first set of shelves (for towels) that we installed years ago are a hot mess, not to mention all the surfaces, b/c you know, I haven't tidied/organized the damn shelves, drawers, and cabinets, even tho I/we put the new shelves up at the end of August!

I'm going to publicly shame myself into doing it, I think that's how this is going to go. LOL

    Stay tuned! ;-)

(... for when you get back from Mom & Dad's, most likely)

We are leaving at 6 CT for there. I'm getting more done around here (laundry, dishes) before we leave.

Take one shelf at a time! It sounds very overwhelming the amount of work you have to do! What should be your starting place? The new shelves or getting the older shelves back in order? My thought is to work on the older shelves first, and anything you don't want on them, stage them on the new shelves until you are ready to tackle them. This will also help you understand what works in each place, and if you keep putting something back in a different place than you first put it, then you need to change the place it lives! I did that with my open shelves in my kitchen!
    93guzzcyesd9.jpg

I just got off the phone with my boss about my yearly review. I was nervous because my friend got a 3 and she was really upset and she got 1 % raise. And she's a hard worker! I had "an exceptional year" according to my boss and I got my first 5!!! :) I also got a better raise than last year! I was expecting 0 because we had such a huge cyber event in Feb last year (remember when you couldn't pick up prescriptions? That was us!) that cost our parent company $billions. It was nice to hear the good stuff, see the pay increase, but I'm still actively looking for a new job because the new parent company is dragging their feet on getting our team up to speed for the migration to "their" way, or even saying that we will be "absorbed".

Good Morning! Been a busy weekend, but taking a minute to say hello! We’ll work from here tomorrow, then head home. Been an interesting weekend, but fun. Having some coffee this morning before going to see my parents and watch church with them. Macy (Sister’s dog) was whiny all night, so I got up earlier than I wanted to (7:15), but that’s ok. Coffee is a good thing! :). When I took her out this morning, it was small flakes but a lot of them! We aren’t supposed to get snow until Wednesday, so my nightgown was not warm enough! LOL Yesterday it was muggy at 10pm!!! The temps really dropped over night!

Have a great day! How are the shelves going?

Good morning! Does your parents' house have a separate apartment? Or are they staying someplace else?

Ugh, we are in the *kitten* again today. Spent 3hrs trying to clear a path to the compost bin and recycles bin and mailman path yesterday, but the stuff we got on Wed into Thu is the same crud we're getting today - snow, then sleet, then ice. I took rest days Thu & Fri cuz I needed them, but it just made yesterday's work harder. Need a rest day again today :p

We have cold air (single digit lows) moving in after this long duration storm (started last night, warning goes until 3am Monday, so all day today), so 'muggy' is hard for me to wrap my mind around, rofl ~

Does Scott work from home as well ? Neat that you both can work from where you are! No update on the shelves yet, but I didn't promise one until after you got back from you parents ;-). heh πŸ’œ

Hey, I saw you told our prefects you were going to use your Hall Pass for this week, but that you did get some stuff done. You should post whatever you got done, b/c the pass is only good for up to 4 pts, and the Classroom Required Tasks is one of each kind (2 pts quidditch, 2 pts potions, 2 pts DADA/other, so, a total of 6 pts). You won't get 'expelled' for one missed Classroom Task, but you'd get a 'Missed' notation for one of the tasks. πŸ’‘

Yeah, my parents have an apartment in the basement- full kitchen, bathroom, laundry, 2 bedrooms and dining room, so that’s where we’re staying!
Yes, Scott mostly works from home, he goes in when he needs to.
Good to know about the pass, so I’ll take care of what I’ve completed!

Good morning! It was a fun, relaxing day with mom and dad yesterday! Got up and got a shower, taking dad to the dr today. I have to start packing up and getting things tidy before Stacey comes home. They have to check out at 10, it’s a 2-3 hour drive, but β€œwho knows what we’ll get into on the drive home”… so when I get back from dad’s appt I’ll start getting things out to the car. Dad uses a walker so we need the trunk for now.

Looking forward to getting back to the house and back to routine. I have really slacked on my steps the last few days, so I need to kick it in gear! Ok, off to β€œwork” :)

    Good morning! Happy Monday!

We are still snowed and iced in here. The plow guy was supposed to come at 9pm last night, but the job hasn't even been assigned yet. (We booked a new plow svc Sat night, b/c the other guy never showed up on Thu.). This stuff is big and heavy, no chance I could shovel it out before next week when temp changes (cold sets in today for the week). My arms were aching just trying to cut a path thru the muck on Sat afternoon (before the new storm started).

I like shoveling, I do. But I like shoveling around the plow guy, better. And I do not like chopping ice, that's a serious arm workout that my arms are not fit for duty for :p

Eric's got a 10:45a appt, and he was going to pick up a grocery order (placed last night) on the way home. The groceries are gonna have to wait, and hopefully he can get an Uber to his doc appt. Bleh

Post copy/paste from my freggie group :p . Soooooo tired today! Anyway, at least tmo we can get out of the driveway! Hubby took a bus to his doc appt today. 10:45a scheduled ... the busses were running on holiday schedule, so very infrequently. He got there at 11:03a, so they had to reschedule it :/.

    Copy/paste:

    Monday check-in! ~

I did not wait until mid-week to get my first green freg πŸ˜‡! I had avo toast, diced tomatoes, egg, pitted dates, walnuts, and feta .... buuuut, we're out of greens! 😬. I had a grocery order set to pick up this morning, but we've been snowed/iced in since Sat night. Two plowguys blew us off! (My husband calls them plow dicks, lol). One of them was a full-service, national (regional?) super expensive ($279!) all the bells and whistles deal that we pre-booked on Sat night, for Sun 9pm. (PlowzAndMowz.com)

They promised a path to the side door, a path around the back, clearing off 2 cars, and salting to boot! Never showed. Quite polite updates a few times, saying, sorry, job's not been farmed out to a provider yet, we'll update you when we have a contractor to do the job!

Anywayyyy, I had some asparagus in the veggie drawer, so I sliced up 4 spears and threw that in with the diced tomatoes, to olive-oil char/fry. It was a totally different 'vibe' without the greens, and with the asparagus, but that's okay. I'll take it.

And! Some rando guy knocked on the door this evening, and offered to do the plowing for $55. Score! Saved $225, and we can get out!

I can go pick up my grocery order (with my greens!) tmo, thankfully.

It's gonna be cooold here this week. Super windy today, and single digit (F) lows all week.

Good Morning! Today I actually got to do my job!!!! Not side projects!!! Whew!!!! Anyway.... LOL

Back home, got my fit deck and bingo card filled out, drinking water. I think I need to add some salt, I'm forever thirsty because of these aligners and maybe I need to even out my electrolytes so my body can utilize it better!

I have my digital planner up and starting to fill it out! We are energized today because between tonight about 9pm until tomorrow night/Thursday morning, we are supposed to be getting snow- 3-4 inches predicted in our area!!! So, I'm going to look through my freezers after work and make a menu plan through friday just to make sure I don't need anything before we go to bed!

Sorry about your hubby's appt getting cancelled :( hopefully he doesn't have to wait too long for it to be rescheduled.
Found out today the lady I talk to the most at work will be putting in her notice in a few weeks, her last day will be end of March. :( Sad, but on the other hand, she can be a bit..... wordy (our technical writer, so what do I expect?) and so.... it's all good.
Anyway, time to throw on socks and shoes and get a good walk done!

Got my lunch walk (30 minutes) and my after work walk (ended up being an hour). I also put almost all the stuff from the weekend away, dw unloaded/started reloading, made chaffles for dinner to go with our hamburgers. Excited to see if we actually get any snow, now they are walking it back saying snow won't start until early morning instead of 9-11 tonight, and MAYBE 1-2 inches. Dang TN!!!!

Hope you had a productive day!

Hey there, past midnight here, and def past my 'screens off alarm', but I was updating my electronic journal and trackers. I made a post in another group, but I thought I'd share it here, too :)
I journal but only β€œanalog” and only with the beautiful Parker pen my children gave me. I don’t trust a on line journal call me paranoid how can you fully express yourself and feel confident no one will get to it?

Sometimes my entries are thoughts some bullet points. Depends on the day and time but they always have the weather the time and temp of course the date πŸ˜‚.

Continuing my no or minimal occasional 1/2 and 1/2 in the coffee black with no sugar has allowed me to appreciate the flavors again so clear and pure.

Your comments on journaling really sparked some introspection, snowshoe (as did Tes', below, talking about her hubby reading over her shoulder πŸ“–). I think this is why I've never taken the plunge, even tho I've been 'journal-curious' for a number of years now! Part of why I'm so excited about my Thrive in '25 plans, with my oars, and my Conqueror Virtual Challenges, and my journals, and my logs, and my classes (signed up for a few of those, too 😁), is because they're all tied (mostly) to measurable metrics and activities, and not feelings and thoughts. Tho, I have been toying with the notion of a gratitude journal. It's supposed to be so beneficial to your health and spirit to take up that kind of practice! But ... it's definitely more 'private' material than metrics and activity goals. At least for me. I'm much more reluctant to share my thoughts than my activities. It's just me and hubby in the house now tho. Not siblings and parents, like when I was young, or roommates, like when I was older, or children shortly thereafter ;-).

I can't close without noting your success with your coffee habit add-ins elimination habit. I love the evolution of taste journey your experiencing!

Yay for the weekend! Work this week wasn’t the best with one of my coworkers being let go on Thursday. We were told it was an isolated incident and not the start of company wide layoffs.

@snowshoe072 , I basically make sure that anything I write in any journal is something that the husband can read over my shoulder because he does that. πŸ™„ So my journaling is mostly gratitude. I’m sure it’s good for me. Good job on the transition to black coffee. β˜•οΈ

    8th - 14th
    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³

A review of the 'extras' I had in the first week of February.
    1 chilli mango margarita,
    Beer,
3 small homemade cakes from a student,
    Cheese and wine,
    More wine
    Cream liqueur,
    1 Cafe latte,
    4 cafe au laits,
    Popcorn,
    Dried fruit & nuts.

Otherwise, it was just 2 or 3 meals per day and drinking tea and water.

The cocktail was after a Mexican meal at a restaurant and the cream liqueur was a gift from one of my husband's friends. I had the popcorn while my hubby was out one night. So, these are not regular things. I have a coffee machine that takes capsules and the cafe au lait ones are nearing the end. I'd normally just have one of these a week, preferring black coffee, but it's there, so I chose it when I was working from home.

I accept that I'll have some kind of homebaking from my student on Tuesdays, that I'll have a cafe latte and wine on Wednesdays with other students, sometimes with cheese, and that I'll have alcoholic drinks at the weekend with my husband.

Other than that, some dried fruit and nuts are my usual extras - just a couple of each.

BT, I felt inspired by your dispassionate, honest assessment of what is going right, and what needs keeping watch on.

02 - 0 9- 25 - No Tiny Celebration today. I thought about stretching my definition of 'journaling' to include food log journaling, but, tho it is journaling, and it does take intention, and introspection, it's not really what I am planning for the year. I don't know if I'll food journal the whole year, and the other kind, it is my intention to develop as an ongoing habit :). So ... I gave myself a 'beginner' badge πŸ”° for the days I did food log journal, but didn't journal-journal (either digital, or analog) one of my 'focus oars' for the year :).

Hey! I did finish my first Conqueror Virtual Challenge this week tho! (I've started five of them so far, each tied to one of my focus goals). I finished a shorter one, The Roman Empire: Caesars & Emperors. I had it keyed to my Daily Fitbit Steps, which had been going to a much longer The Silk Road, but I switched to try out a new one b/c the leaders of the Facebook Conqueror Community were doing a Group Community Chat / Challenge, and I wanted to join in. I thought I could learn more about the app that way :).

I've been popping by here each night to read, and I'm inspired by you folks! I used up my energy on snow clearing, cooking, and Racing at Hogwarts, this week tho :p. The Race is over (great fun!), but it's February in Maine, and snow clearing is not. We've got close ~20" of snow depth as of today (10" fell on Sunday night, and that ain't cleared yet! :p), and another foot-and-a-half coming by next Sunday, in four traunches.

Hello Tiny Habiters! I've been reading, but I haven't updated in a bit. Time to update. I'm still digital, even tho my plan is to move to analog, for most stuff. I was updatin my Goals and Unbreakable Vow Progress for the mid-term (first 4 weeks) of my Hogwarts 8-wk term challenge, and I thought it was past time I made an update. Me and my oars are still rowing along, but I don't really have them all in harmony yet. Def making progress tho! I felt good after going over my 4-wk goals progress in my Hogwarts tracker. I took some screenshots to share, tho I don't know how readable they'll be on phone screens ...

I gave myself beginner badges for my food log journaling, and tick marks for entries in my Word file digital journal (still digital, for now). Today's celebration was to sing "I am a champion" but it's late! I have the Karaoke YouTube and lyrics google tho, I will celebrate tmo ;-).

First 4wks Goals progress spreadsheet tracking. My 5 Main Goals are: Learn Turkish, Increase Greens and Freggies, Monthly Prolon 5-day FMD Fasts, Weight Loss, and Increasing Frequency and Variety of Exercise Workouts. This is my Summary/Assessment of my 1st 4 wks of Goals Progress:

    • Goals Progress Summary / Reflection
      Thoughts? ~

β€’ Goal #1 - Finish my DuoLingo Turkish Tree. ... Still have 6 units left in Level 3: Traveler; I spent all 4 weeks in Review Mode. Didn't break my streak tho! I kept up my practice, just didn't feel confident enough to push ahead. Sometimes I can't take on board any new verb tenses, and have to hold steady :)

β€’ Goal #2 - Greens. ...Nailed it! But only barely. If I'd gone up to a Vow of 5 servings of green per week, I'd have missed. HOWEVER, I nailed 'Other Freggies', and did really well on 'Nuts, etc', too! Which might seem like no big deal, but before these challenges, I was as unlikely to eat any freg or nut as I was to eat a green freg ... except for beans. I always liked beans, and ate them whenever they were on offer :)

β€’ Goal #3 - Fasting. ...Yup! Knocked that out Wk 1 πŸ’ͺ. 5-day Prolon FMD.

β€’ Goal #4 - Weight Loss. Nope! Didn't meet my goal of 1 lb per wk on average. Too many cookies! I did clock an avg loss of 0.55 lbs per week, but did not meet the 1 lb per week goal. The avg loss of 0.55 lbs/wk, tho, did beat my old goal of a half pound/wk weigh loss (from before I backslid after Mom sickness & knee injury, and gained it all back ... )

β€’ Goal #5 - Exercise. ...I for sure made big strides of progress in this area, I just haven't updated the individual goals here yet, or started my individual focus exercise journals, or checked in on / updated my Conqueror Virtual Challenges yet (other than the leader-led Roman Empire: Caesars & Emperors, 51mi, which I used my Fitbit Daily Steps for, and finished). Some of my Fitbit workouts and activity gets automatically logged to some of my Conqueror Virtual Challenges, but not all of them. I have to update several of them, just haven't sorted it yet.

β€’ Summary/Overall - Some progress, but not really rowing all oars in harmony yet. Working on it!

Here are some screenshots of my tracking:

    r1feeule7zf2.jpg

First 4wks 'Unbreakable Vow' spreadsheet tracking. The 'Unbreakable Vow' comes from the Harry Potter books, and is one of the challenges in the Hogwarts Terms. They are 4-wk vows, one for the first 4 wks, and one for the 2nd four weeks. I've used my Unbreakable Vow Challenges to re-inforce my Goal #2 (Increase Greens and Freggies intake) for the last few terms. This is a serious problem area for me, b/c I would happily never eat another damn freggie ever again, if I wasn't intentional about it πŸ˜†.

These are screenshots from my spreadsheet tracker. I was successful in my 'Unbreakable Vow' for the first half of Term 53/Hogwarts:

    0kfqfiuc4cgu.png

    9dvk2e0ryegg.png

And here is a screenshot from my Freggies spreadsheet tracker. I was successful in my 'Unbreakable Vow' for the first half of Term 53/Hogwarts (focusing on the Green Freggies). I also did Extremely Well in 'Other Freggies', and Very Well in 'Nuts, Etc', which, once again, may be misleading in giving the impression these are not an issue for me - they are ;-). I'm just apparently far more resistant to adding any Green Freggies into my diet, than I am to adding any other color Freggies, or Nuts, etc, into my diet 😊:

I have been mulling this over each day, when I come in here. I've put a lot of oars in the water (continuing my oars metaphor, heh), and I've ordered a bunch of journals, each of my new journals to focus on each one of my oars, to keep all my oars all moving together towards our goals (me and the oars, we're a pack, lol), so ... which 'tiny habit' to focus on?! *think ponder mull*

I have decided - my tiny habit will be journaling. In any one of them. They're all undated, I didn't want to (have a bunch of blank pages !), so filling them up will only be traveling on each of their paths. I don't intend to journal everybody every day. So ... everybody has arrived, last team member trickled in last night :D ... but I haven't written in anybody yet. Only have used an electronic journal that I started with a copy/paste from a Terri Richardson post :), and I haven't used that since before our mini spa getaway Jan 6 - Jan 28. Journaling it is! My tiny habit for February (and probably several mos after) will be journaling. I've been 'journal-curious' for several years now, but haven't started.
    • 1. My goal for this month (This February I will...) ... journal.
    • 2. The small, actionable steps I plan to take towards this goal ... will be to open one of my focus journals each day.
    • 3. My reminder or cue to keep up with my habit ... will be this group!
    • 5. My reward for maintaining the habit (anything from a self-compliment to a mark on the calendar) ... following Tes's Tiny Celebrations list πŸ₯³ .
    • 6. How can we support you? ... by being here (love that this group exists!) πŸ’œ.
    • 7. What will success look like at the end of February? ... movement in my journals :).

Good Morning! We got about 2 inches of snow and it's still falling, but should be stopping soon! Pic to come when it's more light out. At midnight I peeked and it was as bright as day out! so weird!

Thank you for sharing that post! How wonderful all the things you are doing! You're really kicking tail! I'm really proud of you! I don't think I could do all that. PS... I hardly ever eat freggies! I LOVE that part of being carnivore! I can eat them when I want them, but they are usually in the form of a Pizza bowl (sauce, cheese, all the meats I can find in the fridge) or loaded broccoli (butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon!).

Yesterday I added the Classroom tasks to my tracking page- should have been doing this all along! I really like the format of the spreadsheet and it really helps me focus/ensure I am hitting my goals! I was really worried about my unbreakable vow #2 as I had upped my step goal, but have hit it with no problems the last 2 days! I really have to be intentional about getting 2 walks in, but that seems to be pretty good- I get a 30 min walk at lunch and an hour after work. Between those walks and daily living tasks, it's all gravy!

Yesterday I filled out my digital planner pretty well in the morning, didn't get to nearly the things I wanted to, but it's a new habit I'm trying to form, so I'm giving myself grace! I have also decided there's a couple places in the planner I can put pictures instead of what the boxes are for, so my goal is to get at least a couple pictures a day (of me, food, house, yard, etc) to put them in there.

Yesterday morning right away my boss pinged me and asked if everything was ok, I have a lot of "early and extended" lunches on the calendar. I told him it's just appts for my parents, since they can't drive, they need my sister and I to take them places. He's been cool about all the parent stuff since all was happening, but as I was walking last night, I realized he might have thought I was taking time off for job interviews. I hope he believed me, because it's true.

Today I have to call the dentist to see when my next appt is. I should be going in next week, but I don't see it on my calendar. I also have my yearly physical with the regular Dr next week. On the plus side, all this activity has really helped me out! My BP is normal now- and actually better than normal this morning at 114/77!!! My BS is getting back into range as well! By 10am every day it's at 100 or below, which is awesome!

Wow, ok, I think that's enough of a book for now! :)

Pretty snow !!! I hope you get to enjoy it ❄❄

LOL, yea, I bet your boss was thinking you were interviewing for new jobs. That's wonderful that he values you so much he reached out to you!

LOVE the re-purposing unnecessary boxes for pix in your journal. What a great idea!

WOOHOOOOO Congrats on your bp and bg's! You know, I meant to ask you, but didn't feel certain I should, but why isn't your doc treating your hypothyroidism? That doesn't make a lot of sense, it's not like it's going to just get better, or will it? (I've been on thyroid replacements since I was dx'd after gaining 60lbs when I was 32 :/.

Gonna try and chop some of our ice mess today. Maybe. We'll see :)

OMG, my iPad should finally arrive today!! I called them last week, since it was 18 days after placing the order and it wasn't shipped yet. Amazon was the shipper, tho not the seller. The Amazon lady said the order was 'stuck' and she released it. WTF? I asked why a few times, and a few times she said it was a technical issue. I hope the iPad is going to be okay, bc why would Amazon hold up the seller's shipments like that? (I checked the seller reviews while I was looking into the issue - multiple reviews in the last couple mos had customers complaining about super long shipping times, and Amazon just put strike marks through the reviews and said the shipping problems were their responsibility and not the seller's responsibility - super weird, right!?)

Order was placed on Jan 23. Tracking says it should arrive by 8p tonight :/

"Enjoy" is a loose term in TN. It's now 70% melted! At sub freezing temps for the high! LOL

According to my Drs, I am "not bad enough yet" for meds, even though I had tons of symptoms and thyroid nodules. After going mostly carnivore/keto for a year, my nodules were gone, but TSH still high (for me at 5.6 instead of 1.3), etc. I believe it has also contributed to my high BP. So, to see my BP normalizing finally, maybe my TSH is getting better. I even went to 4 different doctors and none of them would put me on meds. That's ok, I'd rather do natural if possible, so they just forced me to learn more and take control of my health more! I have my annual physical on Monday, so I can't wait to see what my blood tests come back as! I go to a group of NPs, and they are all keto/carnivore. I don't know how I lucked into them, but glad they don't give me crap about it!

Hope you have your iPad finally! That sucks about the seller, something hinky going on there! I don't order often from TikTok shops/FB ads because it usually takes a month to get something, and I only get it after I email them to find out what the hell is going on. If I order from anywhere online, it's from Amazon or a few other places.

Work day done, off to walk again! Got 30 minutes at lunch.

So weird the snow melted when the high was below freezing!

Our cold snap is easing a bit. High is supposed to go all the way up to 30F today :p. Similar tmo, then 7 days straight of above freezing highs. Maybe I can get rid of some of the ice that took grip after the weekend mess of a storm.

Our sidewalk 'snow dunes' are over a couple feet high now. When we get snow, it stays until 'mud season' in April 😝

Good morning! Hope you're having fun with your iPad! I've been getting caught up this morning on my digital planner and my bible study. Now I'm going to start my training for work. Got my water started, bed made.

I need to plan some of my fit deck today- I won't be able to do it Saturday or Sunday due to on-line training scheduled 8-5 both days. Might be hard to get all my steps in those days too, hope not!

Well, off to training I go!

You've been quiet this week, hope all is well with you!

Yesterday did not go to plan..... we had chairs we were giving to a friend for her office lobby and so we finally were able to plan it for last night. Expecting a drop off and come home, they decided to invite themselves to our house after. LOL So I spent a few hours at work cleaning the kitchen and dining room (it was spotless!) after work I cleaned the guest bathroom (again, spotless!) I even "mopped" the bathroom floor (automatic mop, like a vacuum, but wet). Felt good to get up this morning to a clean space. Also had to get the hallways clean, so good progress yesterday

The downside is they were here until 12:30! My 94 sleep score yesterday is now a 58 today. ROFL!

Today plans: get my office clean/ready to be on camera Saturday/Sunday, get my camera and headset set up so I can use my personal computer

    Happy Friday!

whoa, 94! Yea, last night my sleep was a trainwreck3h 41m, score 69. Hey, at least it wasn't 58!! You're right, I've been quiet this week. I think I hunkered down bc of the deep freeze and snow-in until Mon night. I realized on Monday that it could have been a fasting week for me (4 wks since last one, but nope, not feeling it). I think I'll emerge from my cocoon tmow, when my world emerges from the cold snap πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Fun! on the night with friends, and you must have gotten your new chairs then? So sweet to donate to your friends, and have the impromptu friends gathering, AND wake up to a clean space, to boot!

    How's the new chairs?

I get ya on the hunker down, I have totally lost my way with the challenge this week. very very low scoring :( I'll push through next week, but the next 2 days I'm chained to my desk for training from 8a-4p. Sunday night we are going to a friend's house to celebrate some birthdays, so once I'm done with training (and probably brain fried), I have to go over there.....

Love the chairs! I still have 2 to put together, will take care of that tonight.... Scott is going to my parents tomorrow to upgrade memory on mom's computer. I'm also on call this weekend.... so, there's that fun too :)

Got my walk done at lunch, will do another after work. I can tell this is starting to help me, as my speed is increasing while my heart rate is staying low until I really push my speed! I'm up to 3.4 MPH on the treadmill to get my heart rate up, but at 3.2 I coast in zone 2 or 3 (mostly 2).

I haven't done a single bingo card, fitdeck card, or workout other than wall sits yet this week. Gonna be jamming to finish up this weekend!

Just made a big lunch of fruit, nuts, whole grain crackers, cheese, and nonfat greek yogurt, after I cut up 8 onions and 9 red peppers and threw them in a big pot with olive oil & minced (jar) garlic, to caramelize. Adding in various canned tomatoes (puree, minced, paste), a jar of parmesan romano, a pound of sweet italian sausage, and an 8z box of whole grain penne later (maybe an hour or two), for 8 servings of veg & pasta, w/ italian sausage, oh, and I have 12z of shredded fresh parm to add when it's done (as opposed to the jar of the grated parm/romano I found in the pantry (oh, right, I'll add that in later, too, with the tomatoes). Cleaning out the fridge, veg hangers, and pantry this afternoon! Might as well put my 'hunker down and stare daggers at the world' to use, lol

I hate this time of yr, there's always a looongg cold spell that hardens in place the snow cover. It's only a week or ten days, usually, but it feels like a decade 🀐

I'll be zoomin' next week, promise!
