    (These are ceramic Easter eggs that I found at my parents' house. My mom owned and operated a ceramics store when I was in my early 20s. I'm giving one of these eggs - likely more than 30 years old - to each of my kids this year.)

    I can't get pictures to load from my phone. I did do one and gave it a web address and it downloaded under that. I can get them to load from my laptop.

    I am still reading THE KEEPER by Charles Martin. I haven't read any of it today, but will probably start on it again this afternoon.

    I am reading a short book: BILLIONAIRE'S BIRTHDAY DATE by Jo Grafford. I needed something light. I have two books in this series, so I will probably read them both.

    I finished:
    FINDING HOME by Angela E Powell. It was definitely a Christian book, but I had never heard of her. I will read another by her if it comes up. It dealt with a lot of family issues - depression, Alzheimers, disfunction, and a young man coming home to help deal with everything. I actually was expecting a romance by the cover, but it was not a romance at all.
    LINEAGE OF CORRUPTION by Robin Patchen - It was a very good book, but the YouTube audio had some issues. I noticed it was long, but it repeated chapters…very confusing. It would have definitely been better to read in KU, but that expired yesterday. I will try the next in line, I have listened to others of hers and haven't had that issue, so hope it was just a one-off.

    I finished my re-read of Book 8 in Christy Barrett's TRUE CRIME JUNKIES series. Just started Book 9: ONLY ONE MORE LIE.

    I finished FINDING PURPOSE by Angela E Powell. This was her first book and was the first in the series. She actually started book 2 first, but went back and wrote this book before finishing book 2. I enjoyed the book and its premises, but it had inappropriate language (2 instances - one from a handicapped boy in a melt down). I don't understand overtly Christian books with inappropriate language….even if it is fitting in the situation, it could have been handled without using the words in the book. The second book did not have that, so I think she learned in her first book that Christians don't appreciate it.

    I am currently reading Nicole Deese's newest book THE VOICE WE FIND. It is a really good book.

    I need to get back to the Charles Martin book, it is good, but just not the kind of book that I want to read/listen for hours at a time.

    Cindy - I should have read those last 2 True Crime books before I let KU go. I had them checked out, but just didn't get to them. With all of the library books I have been getting, they just kept getting pushed down the list.

    Oh wow, it worked! I guess it was just glitchy on Saturday! Woohoo!

    I finished TIES OF DEATH which was better as it got to the ending, but I did skip through some of it. Definitely not my favorite in this fantasy series. I'm moving on to TIES OF FROST.

    I'm working on JACOB'S WELL by the woman who's name I can't pronounce of remember, her initials are O T! LOL! So far it is pretty good.

    I'm listening to I THINK I WAS MURDERED and it is so interesting. Why do I get the feeling that her friend Liv is involved somehow? We'll just have to wait and see. Talk about AI giving someone mental issues!

    There are two or three more I'm working on.

    I read the 3 books by Jo Grafford in the Birthday Island series, then read the 3 by Jenna Brandt. There is one more by Ginny Sterling. I am reading it now. These are some of the "plus catalog" on Audible. I am finding bunches of them, but most are virtual voice. I'm not sure what I will use my monthly credit on. I am wanting to use them for books I can't find on hoopla, libby or everand. I have had two books that I thought I would use the credits for, then realized they are on everand. Since they are changing the way they do their books, I won't renew my subscription, but since I pre-paid through mid-July, I need to take advantage of it.

    I am interested in seeing how the plus catalog holds out on books through Audible. You can get a monthly subscription to just the plus catalog for $7.95 a month. That's something to think about when my 3 months run out.
