1 -
OH OH OH - Are you growing a fluffy wee tail now?????
2 -
Tall ears??????

Depends on whether I would get bonus points by going fluffy! I haven't tried the "furry" lifestyle yet⦠cause who knows? the pupper might gnaw on me? so it could get iffy!?!?!?! I'm happy enough just nabbing all the bunny food and putting it away!

The Bunnygeddon continues!
I'm fairly sure I have exceeded 20 by now!I do have a new vertical mandolin that I am playing with as an excuse!
NO HANDS SLICED YET!
A bit harder to clean than I would like.
$29.99 (US $21.73; β¬19.10; Β£16.12 ) at the warehouse so the "shipping and handling included" routine is "BS"ish ;-)https://www.costco.ca/cuisinart-precisionslice-upright-mandoline.product.4000285487.html
some nutritional yeast on top would have been awesome for low Cal cheesy but not bad at all as is! The olive oil was gratuitous! β 100% nuked! :)

Mr. PAV- you might want to invest in these gloves. Amazon $8.99US

Oh my bunny heavens, PAV. Look at you slicing and dicing and mandolining! Tofu good in your delicious dish? What did you serve it on? I can see nutritional yeast being a nice touch.
My yesterday bunnies (sorry I've missed a bunch of days - was just being brain lazy)
π°π°π°π°π°
198g clementines, 140g asparagus, 90g BCs finest
Heh! That is not many. I think my bunnies have run off to PAVs table :)1 -
Missy Laurie! Now why would you serve that nice veggie and tofu in pasta sauce ON anything????π€·ββοΈ It is pasta sauce served ON veggies!!!!π
I do admit (in a quiet voice) to using a slice of bread (30g ish) to clean up the serving dish.... to protect delicate canine tummies from having to perform clean up duty... not that they agree!π
I suppose I could mandolin potato slices and serve it over potato slices!π€ MOAR bunnies then!
Considering that the whole thing was just nuked less than four total minutes in terms of cooking... it really did come out good.

Very inspiring :)
I just had some tofu - nothing else - it was leftover from the other day and I needed a quick fix. But - I am really falling in love with this sauce. At first, when younger son brought it over, I wasn't sure. Strong flavour & heat. But it is really growing on me - and at 0 - yes - ZERO - calories - what is not to love????It goes really well with the tofu.

Now. Deep breath my friend Laurie.
Zero means it's definitely lower than most but zero doesn't always mean zero! π€―
Observe the quantity for "zero Cal", and assume that every that many grams are five calories each.
Because If the portion is under 5 Cal then they can declare it as zero π€·ββοΈ
This does not make it a bad bargain... but just like with oil spray .. π€·ββοΈ
(Canadian bottle says 0 for 5ml. I see entries for 50 and 58 Cal per 100g for the same sauce. So definitely on the good side! UK Nando lists it at 48Cal, and with European laws that's what I would use!)

Just finishing the second container of last night's picture! And bought more carrots and zucchini!π€

corriander and coconut salmon bake with bubble and squeak, carrots green beans and asparagus⦠very happy tum!

Beautiful Bunnies, Yooly :)
I figured there were some calories in there, PAV - there is sunflower seed oil - but I'm using just a couple of teaspoons - so maybe 10 grams - 5 calories? - I'm not going to worry. It is far better then my alternate PC memories of Thailand sauce with is about 20 calories for the same amount - and I usually use more of that - and it is sweet - so sometimes it can be a trigger.
I usually aim for a couple of hundred calories below MFP's suggestion - to absorb these little liberties :)2 -
Oh, yooly joined the bunnies!!! :) Good to know that you've got it covered ms Laurie! Andβ¦ HELP! with the "bubble and squeak"β¦. otherwise I'll have to throw some extra coal at the ai to get it going!

I wanted to ask about that too! I almost remember what bubble and squeak is - but not quite. I went and looked - leftover potatoes and cabbage and ??? I think you can add other leftovers :)
1 -
So is my salad of "leftover salad things from the fridge" "bubble and squeak"????
Not logged yet, so no idea about cal!85g arugula, 61g onions, 172.5g cucumbers, 312g tomatoes, 27.5g olives, 125g pickled mushrooms, 26.5g lime squeezings β- end of "bunny" sectionβ
βstart of "it soon adds up" sectionβ
6g lemon pepper, 32.3g swiss cheese, 185g lilydale oven "turkey breast" (at 26% protein probably does have turkey in it!), and 56g bread.
Grand total wasβ¦. more than I would have thunk given no dressingβ¦ tada: 711 Cal.

Good Morning!
Bubble & sqeek traditionally was left over smash with greens from your Sunday roast dinnerβ¦.fried up & mash creates amazing crunchy bits! Could be anything with base of old mash me thinks?!
I made leftover mash with leftover greens - leeks, kale, peas and added to frying onion & garlic.
Donβt like / canβt waste good food!
Got leftover corriander / coconut salmon - was cheaper to buy a half side than fillets π³- for our tea tonight & think going to serve it with corriander chilli rice cauliflower rice β¦..Got 2/3 tin of coconut milk left β¦. Not sure what to do with this β¦coconut cake, icecream or a curry π€
3 -
You could freeze the coconut milk for future use. Either in one container or in an ice cube tray.
3 -
Frozen! Thanks β¦. Froze in a tuperware tub & enjoying looking for recipes to use it up β¦ aubergine curry looks relly good!
2 -
I gather your mash is real and not instant!!!!π€ I have yet to see acceptable leftover instant mash π€£π
Fish sounds lovely!
1 -
Real Mash onlyπ- do use tinned new pototoes though - they are amazing in veggie Med type stews
Fish was so so good!
2 -
I freeze leftover coconut milk in ice cube trays too - then transfer to another container once they are frozen. It is very handy to have a bit when you need it.
Tinned potatoes? Never tried them.1 -
Canned new potatoes is very very interesting. I think I've only bought potatoes in a can once! Maybe should try again?
But we do have little baggies of "baby" potatoes readily available.
not quite the same as "new" but close enough ;-) yellow are more of a "creamer" but white and red can work too.
I don't know why I don't just boil a batch like I used toβ¦. would not take appreciably longer than nuking a bag of veggies does. Cause I COULD place them in pot, single level, with some water barely covering and at max setting of stove. Boil a 1.5l kettle of water separately. Start the veggie bag nukingβ¦. then when kettle boils pour over potatoesβ¦. then if everything is boiling at a high boil, cover and turn off, leaving on stove.
That should get the "babies" either almost fully cooked enough that they would just need a tiny bit of finishing or fully cooked!
1 -
I like tinned baby mushrooms too - just saying β¦ on a Saturday evening- gotta get a life!

Ohβ¦ bunnies π¬β¦..ππππππππβ¦.Does glass of red wine count too? π¬π
