It warmed up today. The air conditioner is running. A family in our neighborhood is hosting an end of school year party tonight. The kids will have games and will be making as many s’mores as they want. I was out pulling weeds this evening and saw a very tired looking mom ushering her 3 little kids down the block toward the party. The kids did not look a bit tired.

I think everyone will have fun.

Barbie, glad your eye doctor appointment turned out well. I am at that point of hearing at each visit, probably one or two years to cataract surgery. I can do without it.

Sandy, busy beyond belief my friend. You do get the opportunity to be with your grandchildren often which is lovely.

    Be safe everyone.

Happy Saturday! Another bad night of sleeping, so tired of these nights. Family zoom call at 12;30, then Church later and maybe sitting for a couple of hours tonight. Lisa is 15 years sober and Rob wants to surprise her at her meeting tonight. Hopefully, I get a nap sometime today. They are outside painting my balcony but woke me at 7:30 with the noise of removing the old paint. I will be happy to put my balcony furniture back outside and out of my kitchen. As a plus I get to listen to their Spanish music while I am at my computer. lol

Lin we are still not warm enough tor the A/C. It is only 58 degrees F right now. The end of school party sounds like a lot of fun for the kiddos, maybe not for the adults. Love the bunny teapot.

    Have a great Saturday everyone.

😀 Yesterday was so warm that I stayed out in the yard only to wash one more section of the fence (10 of 22 are done). Today it is cold and drizzly and not at all welcoming. I'll do the fence no matter what, but I'd love to be able to do more. I have a lot of computer and junk drawer related projects indoors and lots to watch on TV so I'll be busy and productive no matter what.

it was misty and cool first thing so I took George round the block for a gentle stroll. His groomer Debbie arrived just as we got back home. She was an hour early after a cancellation but that was fine as I had nothing else planned. After our hit weather last week I decided it best George had a short cut with clippers so fingers crossed it doesn’t turn cold. The sun did finally burn off the mist so I worked outside for a couple of hours this afternoon. The Turmeric and also packet of Flaxseed, bio cultures and vitamin D mix arrived that tastes pleasant with yogurt. The combination is supposed to boost the immune system so I’ll hopefully avoid the viruses that are still around because I don’t want any more vaccinations. Just a personal thing.

    Way past my bedtime. 😴🥱

Happy Sunday! Nice day to myself today since it is only 66 degrees with a high of 71. Too cold to go to pool unless the weather changes. Sitting again tomorrow for a couple of hours and then again Tuesday for a couple of hours. I just wish I lived closer to them than I do but the rents in their area are really high. It depends on what my landlord does this year as my two year lease is up in September.

Jackie, I bet George likes his short haircut if it gets hot. Good luck with the new immune system combination I hope it works for you.

Barbie, you will soon be done with the fence and able to just sit and enjoy all your hard work. There always is something to do inside isn't there?

Lin, I hope you are continuing to enjoy warm weather.

😀😱 About the fence. I've finished washing 12 of the 22 panels. One a day is enough bending for me. I need to trim the tops on the tulips that have stopped blooming. I want to put labels on more of the iris so when I dig them up to thin them in September I'll know which ones are what color to help me decide what to give to friends and how to arrange them when I plant them again not so close together, In a week or two, the pumpkin sprouts will be tall enough to plant in their home in the patch I have ready for them with hills of good quality soil. The sunflowers will go nearby. It will be a few weeks before the garlic that Jake planted in the fall will be ready to dig up. The tomato plant is in its new spot in one of the raised beds and just has to be watered. I watered everything this morning and it took 45 minutes. I'll need to do that a few times a week depending on how warm it is.

😀Indoors I do just enough housework to keep everything running smoothly. Otherwise I ride my exercise bike and watch TV. Amazon keeps suggesting new shows for me and many of them look great.

😀 I averaged more than 13,000 steps a day last month. Today Annie and I walked for an hour with my friend who just got bac from a month in England. Annie walks more when someone is with us.

Hello, sorry I didn’t get a post out yesterday. Our weather has turned to hot. High 80’s to low 90’s. What a change.

Due to the warmer weather, I am doing more watering which is taking longer.

Laundry, Zoom classes, church today, and picked up a grocery order. I found out a number of items were incorrect and I was overcharged by $6. So, I spent time on the phone explaining the problems. Ultimately got a refund.

Yesterday afternoon, there was a dance party with music and dances from the 80’s. Lots of fun!

Friday there was a Iine dance celebration with the last eight dances we learned. That was also fun. I would like some kind of dance party every week.

Barbie, excellent step count. Wahoo! You have a very measured approach to many things. I admire that. Take care of your back.

Sandy, a day to yourself? Amazing. I cannot believe how cool your weather is. Wow.

Jackie, I bet George is looking dapper with his short haircut. The neighbor across from me just had their little dog groomed with a short cut. With the hot weather, that was just in time. She looks so cute! Looking forward to hearing more about your new supplement regime.

    Take care everyone.

    Hello everyone !

Have been trying to get back on MFP, but for some reason they had other ideas. Between trying to get the passwords accepted and getting anything to appear from them proved to be a challenge to both me and my husband. We did discover both of our computers couldn't be trying to get on at the same time. Once one was shut down we finally got thru.

Sandy it sounds as if you had a delightful trip. Lesson learned not to be at the back of the ship if you plan on doing a lot of activities at the front of the ship. What ship did you go on ? The new ships seem way to large to me and far too many people trying to use the hot tubs, pools etc all at the same time. I get motion sickness so I am apprehensive anyway. Glad you had a safe trip. Now you can get ready for your next adventures.

Barbie You continue to amaze me with your stamina to keep moving as much as you do. I am just trying to walk 30 min. 5 x a week. Plus all of the other outside chores that you are working on. Just doing some fairly light pruning bending up and down sets my lower back into a unhappy stage. Pushing myself to move more daily definitely makes a difference.

Lin I thought you dealt with a lot of home issues last year. Feel for you having to confront several more things now also. Thankfully our roof is tile so it shouldn't have to get replaced for a number of years as long as we get occasional inspections done. Need to get some bark redone in our backyard. Late last year we moved some from the back to the front so as to delay that for a while. Hope it is all done shortly so you don't have those worries anymore.

Jackie You mentioned that your house was built in the late 1800s. You face things none of us have to deal with I am sure. Just imagine your place has so much character. The house I grew up in is over 100 yrs old now….stilling standing and being lived in. That house also had a lot of character much more so than the new houses being built now. Well happy gardening….

This week we had our first 2 days of temperatures over 100. Thankfully it was only 92 today. Spent a bit of time dousing my back hanging pots and other pots. My plants weren't very happy with me this morning. Lost of few gazania flowers, but they have perked right up after lots of water. Not quite ready for these hot temperatures yet. We did go for our walk this evening at 84 degrees with a breeze. Felt good being able to get our walk done for the day. Not being a morning person and with the heat appearing early the evening walks have always been our choice. Back to our normal schedules with company all gone home from out of state. Have our granddaughters graduation from 8th grade next week to ran an errand to get her card and silver cross she has been wanting. How time flies. She is the youngest of our grandkids.

Thinking of all of you and take care of yourselves. Still wonder how Anne is doing.

Sun and showers yesterday so I did a lot of dodging rain and managed to plant peas and the last of my tomatoes. Late afternoon I was just finishing when my cousin phoned to tell me the sad news that his sister passed away in the morning. He had been visiting her regularly although they were over 100 miles apart and had only just got home Saturday when the hospital called to suggest he return. He was tired so waited until the early hours yesterday when the roads were quiet, then spent a few hours with her until she passed peacefully. Her life had been one tragedy after another so I’m incredibly relieved she is in a better place.

    IMG_1292.jpeg

George has got his gizmo back now that thick coat is gone and our walk on the moors this morning was fun as he hopped over tumbling old walls and disappeared into the rapidly growing bracken. He is now sitting on the doormat enjoying the sunshine. Did I mention I lost my favourite sunglasses? No sign of them at home so I’ve bought new Polaroid pair that my favourite postie just delivered. I’m often wary of buying such things online with so much fake goods being sold, but they really are Polaroid!

Lovely to see you posting Diane. I dread to think how much I have spent over the years to maintain my property but like to think it will still be standing in another 150 years when someone will be admiring my new oak staircase or the quaint wood burners! The builder renovating the downstairs rooms a few years ago found a silver spoon dated 1860 in the stonework so I wrote a note with a photograph of myself standing in front of the cottage and placed it under bedroom floorboards. New houses being built in England now remind me of that song about houses made of ticky tacky and they all look just the same!
I messaged Anne a couple of weeks ago and she seems to be doing ok with help from a couple of daily careers but has mentioned again about putting her name on a waiting list to move into a residential facility. Mike doesn’t want her to! I also emailed her last week about King Charles visiting to open the Canadian parliament.

Wow Sandy, a day off! I do hope you felt rested doing nothing other than what you wanted to. I think we are all getting to a stage when driving has become a chore. Of course, I blame the other drivers! 👀

I will retype my post to you Lin because it seems to have disappeared in mid flow! Love the teapot. You have a busier schedule than me but because of our occasional rain showers I’m not having to spend too much time watering. I must check with Charmaine when I will feel like Superwoman now I’m taking Turmeric!

Light lunch then I need to split and repot some mint. One is a very tasty basil mint and the other is supposed to taste of berries and cream but it is very subtle. I’ve just heard a forecast so have added cutting my lawn to my list of today’s chores. 💨🌬️🌧️

    Happy Monday

Happy Monday! Beautiful day here. Went to sit for kiddos while Rob went to the gym. I then went to pick up my eye drops for the month and finally home. I am sitting again tomorrow and again Thursday morning. I will be very happy when Lisa's parents return for the summer.

I am tired and just want to relax but just wanted to check in. Hope you have a good evening.

Happy Tuesday! At hot day ahead with possible storms tonight and rain tomorrow. Plan to spend a couple of hours at the pool before sitting. Love summer!😍

Lin, I guess we are a day behind you in weather. I still don't have any plants on my balcony but I think they are finished painting now. I might as well wait until I get back from Florida. Hope all is well with you.

Jackie, I am sure George welcomes his short haircut. Sorry you lost your sunglasses and hope the new ones are perfect. Yes, I agree some of the other drivers are just crazy with the way they drive, always in a hurry to go no where. I am still thinking about moving closer to Rob but the thought of it just stresses me. We will see how much the landlord raises me in August.

Diane, so nice to hear from you. There were things going on in the back of the ship as well as the front. The ideal place to have your room would be in the center but those were taken when we booked. The grandchildren do grow too fast, I can't believe Robby is going to middle school next year. He will be 11 in July and my oldest grandchild is 35 and getting married next May. Time goes to fast the older we get.

Barbie, hope all is well and weather is cooperating for cleaning the fence.

    Have a great day.

Happy Tuesday. It rained in the night and was still falling when I got up so decided not to rush but it was dry by 9am and George was ready to walk so off we went to our favourite moors. Brian was there with his Westie Dougie and we stood and chatted for about 10 minutes but I am aware if he does stand still too long he feels unsteady so I suggested he didn’t go far before heading home. As I climbed the hills I kept looking back to watch that he slowly made it back to the road and was only a short distance from home. On the way home I stopped at the local farm shop for bread and milk, plus a condolence card to send to my cousin from myself, brother Bernie and nephew Sven and his partner. This afternoon I finished planting Sorrel and Parsley in the raised bed and clearing a few fading wild flowers from the borders. David apparently phoned this evening when I was still outside but I didn’t notice my iPhone notification until late, gone 10, so didn’t call back.

I have received a long email from Anne and will let you know how things are with her once I’ve read and absorbed it.

    Time for bed. 🥱😴

Good evening. It has cooled down significantly and we did have a number of periods of rain.

It did not rain for most of the time the tech was here performing annual service on my generator.

I tried to contact a tree trimmer today but was unable to get in touch with anyone. I finally wrote an email and sent it. That is what they suggested on their phone answering message.

I spoke with a friend late this afternoon. Always good to talk with her.

I made mushroom soup for supper. Yum!

Jackie, you got a lot done today. I will admit I am eager to hear how Anne is getting along.

Sandy, moving is a lot of work. A big decision to contemplate a move.

Diane, thanks for your long informative post. Love to hear from you. ❤️❤️

😀 Jackie, I watch a lot of TV shows set in England and many of the charming homes make me think of what your house looks like. I don't envy you all the upkeep challenges. George looks great with his new haircut.

😀 Sandy, you're smart to think twice about moving closer to your son. I've seen people rush into that decision and regret it later. it's no surprise that "move" is a four letter word. Jake used to talk a lot about moving somewhere else but it was clear that he hadn't thought about the process of actually moving. I think he just wanted to be transported to the new location with no effort required. We were a lot younger during the years that we moved.

😀 Lin, I communicate by text with the landscaper who does work for me. Annie is getting more mellow every day. She still has a lot of puppy behaviour but she is more inclined to find a toy on her own rather than depend on me to sit with her or throw the ball. It helps that we have routines and she knows what to expect. Hilariously as I'm writing this, she came up to me and barked. I gave her a single piece of kibble so she'd get close enough for me to put a leash on her and she settled down. Now she's lying behind my chair next to Bessie.

😀 Diane, good to hear from you. I lived one summer in temperatures like yours and spent most of my time indoors. I walked the dog before 8AM and hung clothes on the line to dry but otherwise ventured out only in my air conditioned car to the air conditioned store. I am more active here because of the cooler temperatures.

😀 Bessie who has been quiet and mellow since she came to us in 2016 has found her voice and now barks from the doorway when she sees people outside.

😀 Afternoons are too warm for me now, so working in the yard will have to happen in the morning this week—fence washing, weed pulling, watering. It's too soon to transplant the seedlings from the pots to the beds they'll be in. Yesterday someone offered me a cucumber seedling and I declined because I remembered that in years past I tried a cucumber plant and couldn't eat all the cucumbers it produced.

👀 I got a text yesterday that my new glasses are ready (it's only been six days and they predicted 7-10 days) so at 10:00 Annie and I will get in the car and drive to town. I have two books waiting on hold at the library so it will a very productive excursion.

Happy Wednesday! A rainy day so happy it is a stay at home day. As long as I get one in between sitting I am fine. I do have to be there at 7:30am tomorrow but I will be done after that. I will shower and get ready for my meeting at their house so all will be good. I ordered some groceries even though I will be gone all next week but some were needed this week such as cleaning supplies and laundry detergent. I am getting organized to spend the night at kids house Saturday since we are leaving at 6 in the morning (yawn) Sunday. LIsa wants to drive 10 to 12 hours the first day so we don't have so far the next to get to her parents because it is an 18 hour drive. We will make stops with the kids and spend the night at a hotel.

Barbie, you are right about moving the thought of it stresses me. I saw my landlord at the pool yesterday and he said his son is taking over his properties (he owns 3 units here) and I will be dealing with him when my lease is up. He said he is reasonable but I still think he will raise me at least $200 which is still cheaper than other places that I have looked. I will see, one day at a time.

Lin, we have also cooled down from near 90 to 57 with rain. It will be hot in Florida so I am fine with the cooler weather for now.

Jackie, I think we are waiting to hear what is happening with Anne. She sure is missed. David must need a favor from you so hopefully it isn't anything too important.

I received my new bill for my car insurance which is raising my rate $70,so I will shop around and see if I can get a lower price. Glad it came today while I have a day at a home.

    Have a good day.

Hello. Another cool day. We have an alert until tomorrow for poor air quality. Mr friend’s husband tried to work in the garage but he still had breathing issues. His wife had a discussion with him (👀) and he decided to go into the house. She is persuasive.

I did attend a few Zoom classes today and joined in an author’s presentation from a local library on Zoom as well as part of an AARP presentation from a couple of weeks ago. The exercise classes were very good, the rest quite uninteresting.

I purchased a bread mix from an online source which has none of the most common allergens. I would like to try it but it is complicated. I have the Apple Cider Vinegar and the Avocado oil (which I’ve not tried) it is a 10 step process with specific timing on a number of steps. Wish me luck.

Sandy, I hope you enjoyed your day. And I trust you will have a safe trip to Florida. Not much time until you leave. I hope the weather is not too hot.

Barbie, wow, your glasses really did arrive quickly. I hope you and Annie had a good trip to town.

Diane and Jackie, hope all is well with both of you.

Yes, I think we are all having severe Anne withdrawal. ❤️❤️

    Wishing everyone well.

Happy Thursday!! I have had quite a day. I was supposed to be at Lisa's at 7:30 so she could leave at 7:45. I woke up and looked at my clock which said 7:30. I panicked and called Lisa to tell her my alarm didn't go off. She told me to calm down and I said I would leave immediately. As it turned out I got caught in traffic and decided to go another way which my navigation stopped working and I got lost. I arrived at 8:45 and the kids were fine. One was still sleeping and the other two were watching TV. I felt awful for being so irresponsible but Lisa was kind and said things happen. She had left notes that I was on my way so they didn't get scared if they realized they were alone. I would have never forgiven myself if anything happened to the kids. I went to my meeting later and was told to stop beating myself up which I tried to do but still feel awful.

I hope your day went better than mine. I am home now and hope tomorrow is a better day.

😀 My new glasses are perfect. The minute I put them on I was delighted. The man who adjusted the fit was friendly and patient. Annie did great in the car. I had realized in the morning that I wouldn't have enough bread for all my planned snacks before grocery pickup on Sunday and figured I'd have to substitute other snacks and then I remembered that I'd be at Costco to pick up my glasses and Costco carries Dave's Killer Bread. They moved the bread since the last time I was there buying bread so I had to wander a bit before finding it. I keep bread in the freezer so it didn't matter that I'd have to buy two loaves.

😀 Then I went to the library to pick up two books that were being held for me. Both were by James Patterson—-one is the newest in The Women's Murder Club series and the other is written with Bill Clinton. I should be able to finish both in 21 days.

😀 Today was forecast to be warm (75 degrees) so I went out at 10 to wash a panel of the fence and pull weeds. In the afternoon I took my friend for her macular degeneration appointment and Annie and I napped in the car while we waited.

😀 Sandy, Lisa is right. Put down the big stick you're beating yourself with. Treat yourself with the same compassion you use to treat others. That long drive sounds exhausting.

😀 Lin, your bread recipe sounds like a challenge. I had some apple cider vinegar with no idea how to use it so it used it to wash the fence. It worked great.

😀 Jackie, sweet dreams. I'm sure you're asleep by now.

    Good evening.

I made it through the tedious steps to make the loaf of bread. Overall, this is not something I would care to do often. I was crazy to have fresh bread. But it is not sitting well. The ingredients were all acceptable but there was no nutritional information. I judge it to be salty. I do not care for salt. My stomach is not liking it.

Barbie, how wonderful that your glasses are so perfect. Wahoo! And you were able to get some bread at Costco was well. What a useful trip (not to mention the books at the library).

Sandy, I would feel the same way but it doesn’t do anyone any good for you to beat yourself up. All turned okay. 👍🏻👍🏻
Jackie, sorry you had problems with MFP. I hope you re getting a good night’s sleep.

In addition to the bread project, I cut fresh lettuce leaves, got them washed and put in the refrigerator. I also watered my grass seed. I am working on a sympathy card. A lady from my church who I regularly sent cards to, passed away earlier this week. I also wrote checks (which I plan to take to the post office tomorrow).

Need to get started on birthday cards again.

    Be safe everyone.

Happy Friday! I went to the doctor for my sunburned feet but she said they are fine. She said to lather with sunscreen when I go to Florida and told me to buy an ointment with zinc if they get burnt again. She also gave me a referral to an urologist because I am tired of waking up 2 or 3 time a night to use the restroom. I won't call for an appointment until I return from Florida as the doctor is on maternity leave. I also discovered I can't eat chocolate anymore as it is a diuretic amongst other potty issues. TMI? I am leaving shortly for a mani/pedi as my last load of laundry is drying. Tomorrow I pack, go to Church and then go sleep at the kiddos house as we are leaving early in the morning. Truthfully, I am not looking forward to the 12 hour drive on Sunday and then another 6 on Monday but I don't want Lisa driving alone with the 3 kids.

I better get myself together, have a nice day.

I’m back but for how long is a mystery! You haven’t missed much. The usual morning walks either on the moors or round the block. This morning was local because my BBC weather app showed dry until 10am, then thunderstorms so I left home at 9. Less than halfway round it began to rain but we both had our raincoats on, although I hadn’t bothered to wear my waterproof leggings. Of course we still got soaked! I started a Spring clean in my garden room on Wednesday but was interrupted by a phone call and because Thursday was taken up with a hair appointment and grocery shopping, planned to finish yesterday. I had just got organised when my school friend in London phoned to let me know the outcome of another plumbing emergency and so soon after her new bath fitting problems last month. We ended up chatting for a couple of hours by which time it was time to prepare my evening meal so today I am determined to finish! I will also find time to answer Anne’s latest email and post on MFP what she is up to. We did have a lot to say about the importance of King Charles opening the Canadian parliament but probably best not to repeat here. We gathered the leader of the free world is back to his old ways!

Wow Sandy, this latest trip has arrived so quickly. Friends in Ontario, just north of Lake Erie and the border, used to travel to Florida every Winter and would always book a hotel halfway. Didn’t go this year for obvious reasons! Please take care of yourself and the family. I have been looking into a more healthy lifestyle and read an interesting booklet that arrived with the Turmeric tablets explaining that we humans haven’t evolved to eat ultra-processed food so our body thinks it is foreign, activates our immune system that then causes inflammation. I thought goodness, we all need a university degree today on dietary habits but I won’t be taking up a recommendation to sip green tea! 🥴

Barbie, I’ve just laughed out loud at the news Mr.T is thinking of selling his Tesla. Jake was certainly ahead of the game! 😉 When it comes to bread I’m extremely lucky that a local bakery produces loaves that are as good and wholesome as any I might make.

Lin, I don’t think I have the energy to make bread anymore. I used to love to knock a lump of dough about, especially when I fancied a rye loaf but that was before our bakeries caught up with the idea that there’s more than what we in England referred to as either white or brown bread. The introduction of a food standards agency probably helped. You do appear to follow what I read in the booklet with a diverse range of plant foods like in the Mediterranean diet.

There is still a threat of thunderstorms so I had better sign off before we get power supply problems. Happy Saturday

😀 Lin, I used to make bread but I stopped when I drastically changed my eating habits. A few years ago Jake bought a bread maker with the plan to make his own bread because of his need to lower his sodium consumption. Instead he started making all sorts of interesting bread that appealed to me and I ate too much. I was delighted when he decided to give the bread maker to a friend. The bread I buy is whole grain and filled with seeds. I can keep it in the freezer and take out only the slices I need for a planned meal or snack. I am fortunate that the only foods I can't safely eat are avocados and some nuts in large quantities.

😀 Jackie, I've read a lot about highly processed foods. Because of that, I've changed a lot of how I ear. It helps that I cook my own meals and only for myself.

😀 Sandy, best wishes for a safe trip. With such a long day of driving, I hope you'll stop often to get out and stretch.

😀 I found a few more things to throw away yesterday. One of them was a moveable Bill Clinton figure playing the saxophone. Jake bought it at the Clinton museum in Little Rock on one of our RV trips. It was so dusty that it could probably couldn't be cleaned and when I found that the batteries were a mess, it was easy to drop it into the garbage can.

😀 It promises to be a hot day so I plan to do my work outside before 11 AM. I want to mow the grass and to transplant some of my little seedlings to their new homes.

Happy Saturday! Got up early so I could go to bed early tonight for a 4 or 5 am wake up. Doing some laundry, family zoom call, packing, going to a memorial service before Church and then heading to Lisa and Rob's to spend the night.

Barbie, yes, with the kids we will have to stop and stretch. It's not a ride I am looking forward to doing but we have done it before and I survived.

Jackie, we did book a hotel to spend the night which will give us more energy for the second day. I know I eat to much processed food with eating lean cuisine frozen dinners but it is so easy to pop one in the microwave. I do cook once in a while but not very often.

Lin, Lisa will be doing most of the driving, I will just give her a break now and then.

I did go to the doctor about my sunburned feet and she said they are fine. She did tell me to get some ointment with zinc to apply over my sunblock in Florida. She also told me to take an extra day of baby aspirin to avoid blood clots. I went for my mani/pedi and was told by my sweet girl that I might lose my nail on my big toe. She cut it very short but said there is air under the nail so watch it. There is always something to worry about isn't there? Maybe I will go to a podiatrist when I return if it is still there.

Have a good week, I will try to check in everyday depending how busy we are.

🎃 I was so excited about transplanting the pumpkin seedlings into the ground that I forgot to start the rice for my lunch or wash another fence panel so I was pretty tired while doing the fence and have a long wait for lunch but the yard chores are done before the heat comes I also forgot that I had planned to mow so that will wait until tomorrow. 🌞😀

Sorry I didn’t post yesterday. I was busy and later I didn’t feel great so I took a nap which turned into a night’s sleep.

Nothing interesting here, just cooking, laundry, exercise and church on the agenda.

    Sandy, safe travels.

Barbie, the pumpkin transplants look good. Excellent job!

Jackie, you are busy all the time! I doubt bread making will become a regular thing. I just cannot find any bread or bagels that work for me. I am left with unsalted rice crackers as my staple. I really miss some things I have had to give up.

    See you online again soon.

    Lin 🙋🏼‍♀️

Happy Monday! Leg two six hours to go. Raining right now but hope it clears up. Typical Florida weather. Spent night in hotel and got a good night’s sleep. Looking forward to a fun time.

    Hope all are well.

😎🌞 It was so hot here yesterday that the heat pump ran until after 10PM to get the temp in house down to 70. I was warm and awake so I got to read a lot in the great book I have on my Kindle app. Because of the heat, we got up an hour early to get out walking early leaving me an hour to water before my Zoom meeting. After the meeting, I washed another fence panel (20 of 22 are finished) and started moving the sunflower sprouts to the growing area. Now the dogs are napping and I'm set to watch Jeopardy and ride my exercise bike. I have over 9000 steps so far and will get a few more when I take the dogs for their after supper walk.
