Yes Susan as we Keep God’s Word close to our hearts, and yes one day our Joy will be Deep as see Jesus Face to Face! Right now Jesus gives us Glimpses of what Heaven will be like as He reveals His Presence to us… And Hallelujah one day it won’t be a Glimpse or even a “Peak” into Heaven but we will hear those Mighty Words….

I am excited to one day have that deep joy. To do that I need to keep God's word close and let it "seep" into my very being.

As I do my Bible study in the morning, I try to really focus on the word of God and what he has to say to me. There can be many distractions like the "beep" of my phone but I will not let it pull me away from what is most important - my time with God.

The phone does distract with notices and sounds. It is a beef I have with it especially when trying to concentrate on God's word.

I totally agree with you Susan. I like to have relaxing music or waves or "reef" sounds that cover up extra noises but does not distract my attention.

Me also Susan, no Peeps from me, yes Reef sounds are good. With my phone I put it on silent when I am having my quiet time, only prob with that sometimes forget to turn it back on and then I miss calls! 😳 So in the end using a Silent feature isn’t always Free for me!

Missing phone calls is no fun! Some of the calls I receive are for prayer requests that need to be sent on to the next person on the phone prayer "tree". I need to be prompt in getting the message through and if I have my phone on silent, I will miss the message for several hours.

We have a private prayer request group on Facebook which means no one has to do the phone messages and calls. We are all tech savvy here. (That isn't strictly true!)

I am not good at the tech savy part but I do have a "deed" to a building you could set your business up in. It is right on a busy road so you could get lots of people seeing our sign announcing "Savy Susan and Company" (Judith and I are the company part) or what ever name you want to use.

That is a great idea to use this group name for our business venture. We could get magnetic signs that we could put on our cars we are driving so people would see it. I am willing to put it on my "jeep" I drive everyday.

Wow, didn’t realize it’s been so many years we have been friends; but I feel since we came on MFP we have all have got closer.
