    iluvmycats Happy birthday week!

    I am thrilled that we are now on a Sunday start as well! Sunday is usually when I plan my breakfast and lunches for the week. I'm trying to figure out how to get the dinners in as well, but I have a picky husband and if he sees what my plan is, he will generally change it for the night when he really doesn't want what's on the menu. 🤣😂

    Let's all enjoy the next challenge and I wish success for all!

    @Dianedoessmiles1 - yes, Eve is just over 7 lbs, a petite senior lady! She gets her daily Cosequin just as Mickey did which you recommended. Eve made Mickey very happy for his last year and taught him some good habits.

    @lavalily - I just wrote you a message and apparently lost it. MFP has a penchant for disappearing posts! Anyway, I do hope we can get together during your visit.

    @ceriously1 - beautiful patio pic

    @kurtize - please send some fall weather to Florida

    Question for the group: what is your main goal for the Fall 5% Challenge, apart from the 5% weight loss? Do you have a nutrition goal? (example, protein target, number of freggie servings/day, etc). Do you have a fitness goal? (example, 10K steps/day, or increasing running speed, or being able to ratchet up your strength training to the next level)

    -Mica

    Ronnie_happy2ranch Posts: 1,849 Member

    @micaroo4 Great question! My main goal is to stay healthy (keep A1C, blood pressure and cholesterol in check), so my nutrition goal is to fill half of my plate with freggies; my exercise goal is 63,000 steps per week plus 3 days strength training; and I'm trying to get a minimum of 7.5 hours of sleep each night. What is your main goal?

  • micaroo4
    micaroo4 Posts: 4,853 Member

    @Ronnie_happy2ranch - I'm at my maintenance goal weight, so the healthy living goals are really important to me. My main nutrition goal is to get 1.5 cups of fruit and 5+ servings of vegetables (at least one serving of leafy greens and at least 1 serving of beans). My exercise goal is to do strength training daily and walk every day with a 14K step goal.
