50 year old lady needs to lose 50lbs!!
I’ve tried on my own. I just can’t find the motivation or discipline. I’m not willing to do anything crazy for a diet, like keto, but I’m in search of a community of women that have found it harder to lose weight as the age. Ugh!! Frustrating!!!

Why am I not losing 😩?
I weighed 250 on feb 14th and this morning I was 227.4 but I lost 13 lbs in like 2 weeks and then it’s barely coming off. I eat 1350 calories a day and yes some days I don’t get all my calories in. I log everything I eat. I’m intermittent fasting and doing low carb under 100 carbs a day and doing taebo/kickboxing for 20…

On the wagon - off the wagon
I’ve used this app years ago with some friends. We kept each other motivated, we successfully changed our habits, and each lost an average of 30 lbs. Well, here I am again. The weight slowly but surely creeped back on and sabotaged my scale 😂 Clearly I fell off that wagon and it ran over me. I am vegetarian, though right…

I'm back..again..
Hi Everyone, I've been on and off again on MFP for years. I just dipped my big toe into the Type 2 diabetes pond, so I am here to stay now. It's taken this to finally get me to take my weight seriously. I am already "pre glaucoma" just due to genetics and have been advised if I allow full diabetes to get established I'm…

Looking for 40s motivation
I have been athletic most of my life. Over the last few years (and especially during Covid) my activity has decreased and my weight has increased. I am looking to lose 50 pounds and gain some muscle. I have used mfp off and on for about 7 years inconsistently but I feel a real effort now needs to be put in since it is not…

Almost 70 and trying to become healthier
I'll be turning seventy in July. I've just moved into a more comfortable living place and am decided to work on improving my health. I've been a vegetarian for half my life and just been a vegan for a couple of months. The vegan diet has helped lower my blood sugar already (I just had my annual check up almost all tests…

Disabilities and weight loss
I am new. I have a rare disease that is quite painful. Some days it hurts too much to eat and other days I eat way too much (usually when I feel sorry for myself because I am sick). I recently had a 8 week flareup during which I lost 14 pounds. I was happy to see the loss, but now I am worried that it may have screwed up…

Deja vu with a touch of evolution
I originally was using MyFitnessPal back in 2019 and lost around 28 or so pounds after having our third baby in Aug of 2018. After going back and forth about my weight and what I was going to do about it, I finally put my dang foot down and took a stand!!! :) I am targeting the loss of 65 pounds and am being generous with…

I'm back to lose weight yet again. I have lost weight 4 times now but keep putting it back on. I think I'm an emotional eater. I'm 47, married and have an almost 4 year old daughter. I have a lung and heart condition, so exercise is limited to just walking. Good luck everyone!

Friends Who Understand
Hello! I am new to this particular part of MFP. It seemed like a nice place to start, looking to meet people who understand what I'm going through. I have a goal of almost 100lbs to lose and no one around me is or has ever been my size. It's very hard to find true support from those who don't understand this struggle. They…
