Hi! I'm Sam
Just hoping to get back into a good routine! Goal is to lose 15 pounds. My workouts are basic, usually a mile run M/W/F and arms or legs on T/TH. I'm hoping to find better recipes here, I make really boring food and I want something better. :) Would love to find friends here with similar goals for accountability.

I'm back to smash my goals!
I was on MFP a few years ago and had huge results. Went through some things and went backwards. But I am BACK and making things happen now! Finally! I've been threatening to do this for a long time. My name is Lloyd, and I've been a professional photographer and videographer for years. I have a beautiful little 1 1/2 year…

If you’re eating less than 1500 calories, you’re not healthy.
Unpopular opinion from a former ED patient, but an average teen/young adult needs at least 2300 calories. Once you become and adult, that number only gets a couple hundred calories lower. I get that people have different metabolisms, but if you’re intuitively eating (eating when you’re hungry, stopping when you’re full)…

Weight Loss Goals
Hey guys, I’m having trouble trying to lose weight. I’m a 5’6 male, im at 153 lbs and i don’t know what my bfp is yet, i took a test to find that out and im waiting for my results. What i can say is that i’ve reached a bfp where i have some vascularity but it only shows when my arms are resting, but when i raise them they…

Ignore my old post. Let’s talk (educatedly) about holiday food!
I see a lot of people on these forums say that they’re so nervous for the holidays, and they’re afraid they’ll gain weight from eating holiday meals. It reminds me of the old ED forums where the people would have full-on panic attacks about the holidays. It even reminds me of myself, terrified of being caught doing…

From 300lbs to 220lbs in 7 months!
28/Male/5"8 20th April 2021 I starting cutting on calories and walking here and there (2-3 times a week) and I went down from 300lbs to 220lbs today, after exactly 7 months! I even managed to finally find a girlfriend after 4 years single, and in 3 days it'll be a month together already. I feel like a changed man...…

NEWBIE HERE
My goal is to lower my sugar, cholesterol, Inflammation, and weight. I am nearly two months free from all medications for Thyroid, fibromyalgia and gut. I have started a regimen of herbal and vitamin supplements and feel better than I have in three years. I want my next blood panels to show that I really don't need meds,…

New to MFP with age ole hormone issues LOL
Trying something new! Been on a few other apps before this seems to be more in-depth tracking-wise! I needed it so I can be more calculating with specifics and not just caloric intake. My hormones are giving me a run for my 50 year old money and my previous weight loss methods seem to be failing! Wish me luck folks!! 😬 Not…

Kicking EDNOS’ *kitten* (TW: Eating Disorders)
My disordered eating started around April of 2020. I began descending the bottomless pit that is low calorie restriction and rapid weight loss. MyFitnessPal was my Jesus, and the scale was my God. My “goal weight” got lower and lower for every one I reached, proving only that there was no end to this. I was going to keep…

boxin' babe
Currently training for amateur boxing, thinking of losing weight VERY slowly (need to be careful because of an old EDNOS diagnosis). My goal is to get decently shredded but still keep my "soft and sweet" vibe. Current calorie goal is 2,100. My stats are 148 lbs, 5'2", around 25% body fat. Tips, tricks, advice and guidance…
