I just had an AMAZING 8 WEEKS!! 5% Challenge

I had joined the 2022 Spring 5% Challenge. It runs for 8 weeks a season. On the 5% Challenge we are encouraged to try to lose 5% of our weight (if one is at goal that's FINE we encourage you to ALSO join us it's a GREAT way to maintain!) . I had started at 180.3 LBS and ended at 172.8!! I lost an AMAZING 7.5 LBs!! We have a member who lost over 10 LBS starting at 162 LBS!! The 5% Challenge encouraged me to develop healthy habits by working on 2 of them (They are assigned, try to meet them, but progress NOT perfection) such as knowing our BMR (That was a one time look up for team points. There are 8 teams within the 5% Challenge you can choose from) tracking food, declutter for 10 mins a day, measuring portions (1 time a day to earn your team points, but you could all 3) and MORE!! These really helped me!! We also count our exercise (up to 120 a day).

I've now joined the SUMMER 5% Challenge where my goal is to lose 7 lbs in 8 weeks!! I am older, and in heart failure. I LOVE GOOD FOOD, I'm learning to manage eating what I enjoy, in the right amount with the support,,,, I AM SO HAPPY!!
