Unsure!
I am totally unsure about this app. I have dietary needs and apparently the app only is mainstream. I take pictures of my food but it still asks me to identify each food!! I do weight training that requires that I eat small but often. I have the premium version but I might well cancel.

Siri/Shortcuts Integration for Easy Food Entry in Myfitnesspal
I suggest adding Siri/shortcuts integration to the Myfitnesspal app. Voice-to-text functionality could be used to add general meal notes to the food log, allowing users to quickly capture basic details of their meals without immediate detailed entry. This would alleviate the challenge of remembering or recalling meals,…

Delete Duplicate and Incorrect Foods
The number of duplicate and incorrect entries across all food types is staggering, and the problem continues to build, making it more and more difficult to log food accurately. It would be great if MFP would make moderating and/or cleaning up duplicate and incorrect food entries using an algorithm a priority.

MFP Shows Incorrect Number of Steps (AppleWatch)
So I've just started getting back into using MFP and the # of steps it shows is way off compared to what my AppleWatch and Health app say. For example, they both say I have about 4,200 steps while MFP shows the exact same # on the main dashboard, but when I go into the diary it shows like 7,800 steps!! Any idea why there…

Charge 6 opinions
Considering one…used to have the basic Fitbit. Wondering if this is worth the purchase. If not, opinions on others though I’m not a runner and most others seem to track for that. Thanks!

iPhone calorie adjustment decreases when adding a manual workout
I'm pretty sure I understand the way exercise adjustments work: When I signed up for MFP I put that I have a sedentary lifestyle. With the iphone integration I see that as I walk the calorie adjustment goes up and therefore I can eat more calories to still hit my goal calorie deficit for the day. What seems weird is I…

Search food log
I would love to be able to have a search function for specific foods within my total log. Sometimes I’ll randomly make a really good meal, but don’t know what day. Or I went out to eat and can’t remember how I logged it. If I could search a specific food i.e. I know I used jalapeños, I could search jalapeños in my log and…

Can you review your past workouts?
Is there anyway to look back and review previous workouts and what you did on said day once it’s logged or is it logged and left there with only the time and calories to review? Desktop site looks like it could store that information but im lost...

Pain tracker
So I was thinking you can implement a pain tracker. Like where your pain is and how bad is you pain so that people with back, foot, joint, ect so that people can log it and notify their doctor if it gets worse.

Push Notifications for Group Activity
I have contacted MFP for support for our groups requesting the option to have push notifications of member comments but I have not submitted the request here so other MFP members can see it. We already have push notifications for messages & likes to activities and profile posts as well as the option to turn them on or off,…

Add salt as an option in nutrition info or salt to sodium converter
Hi all. I saw an old post discussing adding salt to the nutrition info, from a few years ago. It wasn't in the feature forum, and I couldn't find another recent post discussing the matter. In the UK, most things are labelled with salt content, not sodium. I've found that this leads to a lot of incorrect entries for food,…

Garmin watch for tracking?
Hi everyone, I have been considering getting a Garmin watch to replace my fitbit bit but I have a couple questions. If you have a garmin watch, how has it been for tracking your running and other fitness activities? Have you had issues connecting it to my fitness pal? How has your watch held up? I am a heavy equipment…

Create recipes via Alexa voice command
As a busy mom, I want to be able to quickly add ingredients while cooking using voice command, so that scanning barcodes and typing foods doesn't delay dinner.

Replacing “breakfast, lunch, dinner” with “meal 1, meal 2, etc”
As a lot of people are turning away from the traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner diet structure and moving towards having smaller, more frequent meals, it would be nice if the app gave you the option to ADD meals and to also change the names of meals (for example, “post-workout meal, meal 5”). As a competitive…

Apple Health App and MFP not Connecting
I followed the steps exactly and can confirm that on the Apple side of things, it thinks it’s successfully sharing its data with MFP. But on the MFP side of things, it says there’s nothing connected. I’ve deleted the app and started over, turned my phone on and off… nothing.

You don't use a food scale?
We have many new members who have been around for about three weeks now. And there are lots of posts saying "I've been doing this for three weeks and haven't lost any weight!" Many responses to those threads tell the member to use a food scale. This video illustrates why a food scale is such a powerful tool for most…

Fitness trackers/watches, which ones integrate the best with MFP
I currently have a fitbit sense. It works pretty good, but drops true HR at times. Like when I’m on the stair mill. 10 minutes in, doing intervals, sweat pouring, working really hard and HR is 85. Then it will jump to 150 after a few minutes which is more realistic. Same with weights. I can be fully pumped, breathing hard…

Connecting fitbit shouldn't be so hard
On the desktop website, it shows fitbit as connected and selected for step counting. On the android app, it shows fitbit as connected but under steps a box is checked saying "don't track steps". It is impossible to uncheck this box. This is NOT selected on the website. I have unlinked and relinked and unlinked and relinked…

Hiya!
SW: 240 lbs GW: 150 The pandemic brought me 80 pounds (over the course of 3 years) and a lot of struggling with self-image. It took me a while to understand that trying to go back to old ways weren’t going to work for this new “era”, so here I am. I do have a question: how in the world did 6000+ steps earn me another 2300…

Sleep monitoring applications integration
* It should be possible to connect MFP with applications for monitoring sleep (e.g. Samsung Health, Sleep as Android) * It should be possible to read information about sleep, including burned calories, times of awake and falling asleep * It should be possible to set if a day ends at midnight or the time of falling asleep *…
