Why aren't my steps recording in the app?
Hi! I'm a newbie. I have the MyFitnessPal app synced with the GoogleFit app. The GoogleFit app is tracking my steps, but they're not showing up in the MyFitnessPal app and I'm not getting exercise credits. Please help! I'm walking 12,000+ steps a day and would LOVE to get the app to recognize that!

Halfway through my goal. 62 pounds down. I cut out alcohol, changed jobs, and left an unhappy relationship. I have been walking with the aid of Pokémon Go! Down 20.5lbs since using MFP last month
In January I was 395. Knew it was time for the big life change. Stopped sugar drinks and began walking 5 miles per day, weather permitting. I dropped 25 lbs from Jan to March. A friend suggested I try CrossFit and though I was worried about being the heaviest person there I went anyway. Fast forward two months, I…

Why is MyFitnessPal saying I will gain weight when I am under calorie goal?
Hi there. I’m not sure if this is a silly question or if I’m misunderstanding the app’s calculations. I have been using the app to count calories for over two weeks now. For the past couple of days I have been 146 and 418 calories under my 1500 calorie daily goal respectively. Yet when I press “complete diary” at the end…

Eating all my day's calories
Not new to diet and exercise but wondering if I should eat my "earned-through-exercise" calories or not. I want to lose (relose) about 20lbs. I've been working out with dumbells and some stationary biking 5-7 days/week and am over 60. Watcha think? TIA.

How do I get "100 pound" celebration image to come up?
Don't laugh, but this morning I hit my 100 pound weight loss, put it in here, and nothing happened! I was so looking forward to seeing it! The system did it for 75, anyone know how to get the image? Really wanted to share it! Thanks

Hi there! New around here!
Hi All! I’m not new to Fitness Pal, I’ve tried to track my food in the past and have always fallen off the wagon. But I’m new to the community, I never knew this was here so hello everyone! I’m so glad to be here! I’m starting, again, on a weigh loss journey, but I’m doing it differently, I’m using a program and I bought…

Returning MFP user
Hello everyone, Lawrence here. I joined MyFitnessPal back in 2012 when I weighed 95 kg (202 lbs). Through exercise, proper diet, and the help of this app, I managed to lose weight, eventually reaching around 68-70 kg (149-155 lbs). And yeah I was on my 20's that time. However, over the years, I reverted to my old habits…

Hello from the west coast! Fall of 2024 gOaL-gEtTeR!
Hello While I have been using the app (intermittently) to log my foods for a few months, I hadn’t introduced myself to connect with other gOaL-gEtTeRs. I have a goal to lose 18 lbs in 18 weeks👋

Let's see how it goes! Testing the "If everyday were like this..." calculation.
I weighed 248lbs on Sunday. On Monday, April 22, 2024, MFP told me that if everyday were like this, I'd weigh 220lbs in 5 weeks. So I'll try it. And I'll track it. And I'll let you know how it goes.

Weight loss progress not updating?
So I’ve been on plan a week… in a healthy deficit all week and as a result I’ve lost 2kgs in my first week - you best believe I logged that drop so quick I almost tripped up running to the app. I added it feeling proud! When I nipped on later to log food I notice that my newsfeed updated the change for my friends to see…

Not New… but returning ♥️
Well it’s been more than a hot minute since I tracked every morsel that went in to my mouth… and at my fittest and healthiest when I last embarked on a weight loss journey I was 5stone lighter than I am currently. Sadly life and the horrible events my partner and I have endured has caused my weight to spiral. Since I have…

Adaptive TDEE tracking
Good afternoon, I love this app and it has helped me lose 10 lbs in the last couple months. I am now looking to increase my calorie count but do not want to overshoot my surplus. My suggestion is an adaptive TDEE calculator. It would use the weight logs and calorie logs to calculate what your actual TDEE is based on weekly…
