Hey I’m Kristina
Not exactly new to MyFitnessPal. The last time I used it was way back in college, and I knew people at the time used it and it was fun and motivating. But I am back, and I have been spiraling down with depression and anxiety and my weight is out of control and now I got a degenerative disc disease, L5-S1, which I will be…

New to the app, feeling pretty low.
Hey y’all I’m Matt. I decided it’s time for me to really take my health seriously after my wife and I bought a treadmill and I’m too heavy to use it. Hiya!
SW: 240 lbs GW: 150 The pandemic brought me 80 pounds (over the course of 3 years) and a lot of struggling with self-image. It took me a while to understand that trying to go back to old ways weren’t going to work for this new “era”, so here I am. I do have a question: how in the world did 6000+ steps earn me another 2300…

Question about calories /reaching and maintaining goal weight
Hey there! I recently lost 20lbs and recently gained back about 5-6lbs over the holidays. I did it by eating in a calorie deficit and eating highly nutritious food so I wouldn’t be hungry. I’m 5’4 and was 129/ bordering on 130lbs. I’m 29. I got down to 110lbs which was my goal weight. The range for my height is 110-140lbs…

Steps and calories
Hi, MFP is counting my daily steps and converting them into calories, but when I then go and do a workout to gain extra, the calories from my steps are removed. Why is this, why is MFP only counting the calories from my workouts and not steps? I am using Apple Watch and Iphone. Thanks.

Making it happen -- for the first time in years.
Hi folks! Needed to share it out with someone. I've been logging calories for 5 days. I worked out today for the first time in probably 4 or 5 years. I bought myself some kettlebells, and a wrist device to help keep track of steps, heart rate, sleep, so on. It feels great to actually make it happen. I'm also making myself…

Trulicity woes
I missed 4 weekly doses of Trulicity 3mg/0.5mL because it's on backorder. Finally, my Dr allowed the pharmacy to change it to 1.5mg/mL because that's all that was available, and availability is spotty for that, too. I was pre-diabetic when I started taking this Rx, and it brought my HbA1c within normal limits. I'm not just…

Starting Off Slow
Mucho Gusto! I’m pretty sedentary I think, and my job contains a lot of sitting with short walks back and forth. I’m also studying to further advance my career, so that’s a lot of sitting at a computer or in class as well. Right now I’ve been trying to only focus on steps and trying to hit a daily goal with step count. I…
