I'm new to my fitnesspal. I started my weight loss journey about a month ago by quitting soda. I am now ready to move on to a lifestyle change as far as diet and exercise are concerned. I working slowly so that I will stick with it. I'm excited to lose weight and become healthy

Quitting soda was the first thing I did years ago when I needed a change. Very simple and effective.
I only drink water now even when some people find it weird haha

I also cut out soda almost completely (I allow one 12oz serving per week). And I agree with the idea of adding a single lifestyle change at a time, keeping it up for 3-4 weeks with conscious effort to let it become ingrained as just a normal part of the day, then adding something else. Small changes add up to big results in the end!2
