Broken Toe
Hello All, I have been a bit lax in keeping the thread alive lately, so I apologize. The start of 2016 has not been a good one on my end, with the dealings of 'runners knee' which has required physio, and then the breaking of a toe. Basically my running has come to a screeching halt. With all of that said, there is light…

Running/fitness related Christmas Gift Wish List
What are you asking for (or getting for yourself) this Christmas that is running or fitness related? I find it very hard to ask for things as most of them I'd like to try on/pick out for myself like shoes and new workout clothes.

Hi everybody! I'm just getting back into running and I'm looking for a running setlist! I like metal, grunge, and alternative but I'm willing to branch out into pop. Well, maybe. Anyway, I want to know what's on your setlist and if you have any suggestions for me! Thanks!
Goals for the New Year
Hi everyone. I previously was a competitive runner, but gave that up once finishing university and starting my profession. I recently got back into running seriously about 2 years ago. Last winter I was really making some gains and was considering competing again (at a rec level) in 10 kms mostly, but possibly a half…
New member here
My story - As a younger person (high school age) I liked to run, I stopped when I was 19 or so then picked it back up in my mid twenties for a few years. About 5 years ago tried to get back to it and thought I was gonna die, So , last December I started again and was doing well, in May of this year I was up to 2 miles a…
What does it mean??
RP= Race Pace Tempo= means going @ race goal pace. Pick ups mean going @ 85-90% max. speed 50-100 metres (light post to light post as example) followed by same distance very slow jog. Do a 2-3k warm up & cool down. Fartlek= means varying the pace of your run as you see fit-this is a 'feel' run. Go @ sprint pace, followed…
