I think there is a diet out there that emphasizes eating legumes as a source of carbs and protein. They digest slowly and as a result slows down the digestion process

I know it not a recipe but try a hard boiled eggs. Also go to the store and pickup some whey which is a source of protein.

I have seen recommendation of 5 meals a day, preferably with some protein. Breakfast is important because it gets the "engines burning".

I use to always put milk in my coffee until I discovered I was drinking my calories. Now I drink it black.

I've noticed that lots of people each fruit. I had the understanding that fruit with the sugar was something that I wanted to stay away from. Any thoughts?

Whatever you decide to do, try to make sure you have 25 grams of protein for breakfast. It gets your body back into the calorie burning mode.

I have had a chance to use it and have come to the conclusion that I like avocado oil with the higher smoke point. I can seer food at a higher temperature which I could not do with olive oil.

A woman at my health club turned me on to avocado oil. I like it because it has a high flash point.

I add olive oil or avocado oil to my salads. It gives me the chance to add some healthy fat to my diet.

I went to a weight loss clinic and they advised me to drink a glass of water before every meal. It helps to curb my appetite so I do not want to eat as much. Once again, I run into the same problem as well where I do not drink as much water as they recommend.

hmm. That is a good question. I have just learned how important that is. I am going to give whey a try.

I will have to give it a try. Right now I am have 100 calorie snacks of mainly protein. They are prepared for me but this only last for 8 more weeks. Then I am on my own so I am thinking of possible alternatives. I think I would prefer water over milk. The veggies sound like a possible solution.

Eggs are perfect. But eggs have the type of fat that is good for your body.

It depends on what you want to eat. The bottom line is calories used must be less than what you expend inorder to loose weight. Eat 5 times a day to keep the engines burning and drink plenty of water.
