I was thinking the same. Why start in 2 days? Start tracking now.

I just finished C25k, to which I used it to get out of my plateau. During which time I can only say i lost ~5 lbs. On the flip side, I've been doing SL5x5, for a year now and I love it very much, and it's help me lose the other 73+. (I just posted my pictures earlier today, as it's day 365 for me on MFP).

I've been cutting AND doing SL5x5 for 11 months now, and I'm still (albeit slowly) progressing. SW: 294, CW:218... Squats: 320, DL 345, Bench 185

I don't know what MFP says, but it must be asked quiet a bit on google. Edit: 8g slice is 44 cal baked. 43 cal, pan fried. and raw (28g) is 117

Although I do agree with the previous comments about going slow, and steady. I'd like to point out there's a whole community that thinks 1200 "is plenty" on Reddit (Link here) . I like to look there for meal ideas.

76 down, 16 more until I re-evaluate. Streaking day #300 (today!)

Finally a few people I can relate to on these "What do you listen to..." threads! FFDP and Volbeat are my two. My "warm up" song is typically "Lift Me Up" -ffdp https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-2yuGgp_U8

Chicken taco's (Recent Thread). They're my fav. "go to" meal, with room to spare (mine end up being ~247 cal, but very basic).

Thanks! I work from home, so having to smell slow-cooked meals through-out the day about kills me.

Completed 5x5, with the exception of DL. Forgot to include my other stats. Height: 6'2" Weight: 294 > 220

I enjoy SL5x5, and have been doing it for almost 10 months, and plan to complete my year with it before moving to a new program. I've gone from: Squat: 45 > 310 DL : 95 > 320 Bench: 45 > 180 Row: 45 > 175 OHP: 45 > 160

This! (This is your lifting total for Squat + Bench + Deadlift).

Sorry to disappoint, I don't like a lot on my taco. I was just disappointed to not see anyone sharing their Chicken Taco recipes, that I posted my recipe (since I was making it anyways).

Forgot to add that my "as plated" is about 330 calories.

Oh, I love me some chicken taco's! My father-in-law gave us a recipe for beef taco's and I loved it so much I've changed it a little bit to work with chicken. I usually cook ~2 to 3 lb's of chicken breast, so I buy from Sam's / Walmart / Local deli. I start throwing all the meat into my big skillet. I usually am very…
