  • I can't find the team spreadsheets. I am on team 3. Could someone send me the link or tell me where to find them, please?
  • @MissionEnforcer For Challenge 1 (this is a repeat because my points are not showing this morning) but I did WEEK 3: Link to: RACING FOR THE GOLD! CHALLENGE #1: “THE SYDNEY BRIDGE CLIMB” (1332 Combined Steps Up and Down) I completed those on Tuesday or Wednesday. I chose that as I thought it would be less of an impact on…

  • Sorry team, I am having to take it easy this week. Doctor says no more than 20 minutes of exercise per day and that is just easy stretches. He says I have to take it easy on my hip and let it recover. If I walk for 20 minutes he says I'm done. So there will me no maxing out for me. He told me no yoga, no abs, no squats or…

  • I'm done with Challenge 3 I ate broccoli and okra for lunch and fresh spinach and parsley for dinner. The broccoli and okra I made into a cream of broccoli soup a THM recipe. I love it! For dinner I made the "Lazy Lazagne" also THM and it calls for spinach. I added the parsley. This was the first time I tried that recipe…

  • For Challenge 2 I chose CHALLENGE #2: “WHEN IN VENICE, TAKE A GONDOLA" (40 Min. Seated Cardio and Strength Video) from week 5. My hip is still really hurting so I figured that the "no impact" workout would be a good one for today. I followed it with the seated stretch routine and I think it was a very good idea.

  • I managed to max out this week! I didn't think I could do it with my set back earlier in the week but I made it! It was a beautiful day here today and 60 degrees! It's not supposed to be this nice for another week or more so I took advantage of it and took a 3 hour walk. My hip is really hurting but a couple of aspirin and…

  • Sorry team, I was in an accident on Tuesday and have been rather sore since. Then my husband decided we needed a 12 hour road trip yesterday. I have just completed both Challenge 1 and 2. I will try to get more time in tomorrow.

  • Challenge 3 I made a "Shrinker" , an oolong tea beverage from Trim Healthy Mama, and added Ginger and nutmeg to it. That made it taste like a Chai tea. Loved it! Sooo Gud Mon!

  • We're 5 points from 1st place! Anybody got anything that can pull us ahead? I just entered my walk and it didn't change anything!

  • Challenge 3 I stayed under my calories all week and did not eat any grain. I'm thinking that oatmeal may not be settling well with me. I usually eat it every morning for breakfast and then have terrible gas by lunchtime. This week I have not had any problem. Hmmm???

  • Challenge #1 @MissionEnforcer I chose option 3 I tried to do it outdoors but got rained out after just 1 mile. I did the rest indoors using my stair stepper.

  • I finished challenge 2 today I did option 1 the Fat Blasting total body strength training. It really didn't seem that difficult. I'm still working on challenge 1. I haven't had enough time during the daylight hours to get but just a little over a mile. I did get 3.5 miles on the stair stepper so far. I figure I'm probably…

  • @lpeltonburg Yes erythritol is a sugar alcohol but that is very different than sugar. Cane and/or Organic sugar is about 50/50 glucose and fructose. Glucose our bodies need and can use, but we can get all that we need from fruit. Fructose on the other hand we have to break down in our livers. Not real good for our livers.…

  • @lynnbaum I have tried to post a picture of what I was talking about but it will not load for me. The ingredients are: Organic Coconut Water from Concentrate, Purified Water, Milk Protein from Grass-Fed Cows Concentrate, Erythritol, Dutch Cocoa Powder, Coconut Cream, Acacia Gum, Vanilla Extract, Monopotassium Phosphate,…
  • @lynnbaum you might like Coco libre chocolate flavored protein coconut water instead of your chocolate milk. I make a smoothie out of it and it is sweetened with stevia. No comments on staying under my calories for challenge 3? Will that work? I don't drink alcohol, I don't eat sugar, I don't eat processed bread unless it…
  • I honestly don't know what to do for challenge 3! I don't eat sugar at all and even the chocolate I eat is sweetened with stevia. Those that know me well will agree that I am a bit OCD on my eating habits. Would it count if I stay under my calorie limit? I don't often count those (except when required by the race) as THM…
  • I've been cooking all day with my daughter. We are hosting a Trim Healthy Mama tea at our church next week so made the candies today. My daughter-in-laws birthday party is tomorrow so I made a Low Carb Peanut butter chocolate cheesecake for her. I almost have the kitchen cleaned up and now I have to get dinner ready. I am…
  • Sorry I been rather quite this week. It's been a rather busy week and I have been fighting a little bit of a tummy bug. The bathroom and I have been way to acquainted the last couple of days. I've been able to get about but not much ambition. I did get all of my water in and I've had 120 oz so far today. If Coconut water…
  • I just finished the reflexology challenge and I am very close to maxing out this week. I hope to get those last few minutes this evening. Hope you all are doing well!
  • I wanted to share with you a recent photo of my family and I guess you could say my big "why" to stay in shape. I promised our granddaughter, standing in front of me, that I would stick around long enough to bug her when she is my age and I plan on still being active and doing it! (I am 50 years older than she is :D )
  • We've made it to Thailand Smashers! But we are still in second place. There are a lot of pink spots on the challenges so that should help if everyone gets them done. They really are pretty easy this week. I don't remember the ratio @SmashleyM914 could probably say better but remember that finishing the challenges gives us…
  • @ddeliciosa Craparagus! Exactly! :p
  • @lynnbaum those were very skinny ones still don't like them! My family all did though, they inhaled it! @carinamenina my hubby loves it! I really tried it again because I know he likes it. I always make broccoli because that is my favorite and the family all likes it as well. @mckeon11 I do need to try the cauliflower…
  • Thank you all for your prayers last week. I am still here and there is so much that I should say to you all. You are all an inspiration and doing great. Sorry I wasn't all in for you last week. I will do better this week. For Challenge 3 I tried asparagus, again, and nope still don't like it. The family all inhaled it but…
  • Sorry all, I kind of let us all down today. I did my first 15 minutes of stretching this morning but then we got some sad news. Our youngest daughter is miscarrying their baby that was due in July. I spent most of the morning trying to get her into see a doctor and then most of the afternoon with her there while her…
  • Hi All! Yesterday was a bit busy so I didn't get as much time to work out as I had hoped. I'm planning to do better today. I've got the stairs and the videos done and have been under calories 2 days so far. @SmashleyM914 thank you for the website information! I'm going to try it! I have always been a bit challenged in the…
  • Ok Smashers, Stairs done by double! Balance challenge done! Stayed under calories by getting on those stairs and the stair stepper kept me from the kitchen! :D
  • I made the 5 of 7 days under my calorie goal and did a long yoga routine tonight. It's been cold and wet here today and the forecast says that it will continue this way. We didn't get the snow or ice like they thought, so that was nice. It looks like everyone is doing good just not happy with the scale. If we all keep this…
  • @ddeliciosa I usually try to do yoga or a good stretch video for my rest days they count as exercise minutes but really get you feeling good! My stretch is tomorrow! I sat in classes all day yesterday and today. I did pass and got my designation, woohoo! I put 40 minutes on the max trainer and stretched for 15. Good night…
