Damned good work! You can add me if you'd like =)

Not Hispanic, but Italian "We have the wedding in June, we have to look good! Why don't you want to eat my frittata drowned in olive oil?! Olive oil is healthy!" MOM NO. STOP.

Honestly? I wouldn't have guessed you weren't cis. Here's the honest damned truth: you will sabotage yourself through self-doubt unless you build your own self-love and confidence. If you must, fake it 'till you make it. The actions make the woman, and looking more the way you think you should look or "passing" the way you…

This is so very true. Every time I meet somebody new I am left dazed by the realization that, unlike all my long-time friends, this person doesn't know me as the one who was fat, or the one who lost weight. They know me as someone "normal", as someone new.

All very true!

All those fitness ads imply that, by doing X exercise you'll shrink Y body part, and that is so flagrantly untrue it's insane! Also, a whole lot of women tend to set 120-125 lbs as their goal weight, when it's not necessarily appropriate for their height and build. Try not to get fixated on a number -your proportions…

Hey all! I started at exactly 220 lbs four minutes after midnight on New Year's Day, 2014. Currently at 147.6 I'm always open to friend requests so long as you're in this for the long haul. Also, try to modulate your goal weight in consideration of your height, build, proportions, and age -don't get too wrapped up in the…

You look great! Fantastic stuff!

25 yr old female, 5'2.5'' SW: 220 (First time I dared weigh myself -I know I weighed much more at points) CW: 149.8 (I finally broke past the 150's!) GW: I'm honestly not sure! BMI says 120 would probably be best, but I've always been a cruvy goal so I'll shoot for that but evaluate how I feel at 130.

Fabulous job!

Wow!

Thats amazing! The weight loss is only icing on the cake in comparison to such a positive change in your life. Has it improved the way you see yourself?

Great job!

Girl you've got your feet on the ground, and you did what works and the pay off has been incredible. I wish I could Hi-Five you in person!

1) When my face started slimming my eyes and lips seemed to become bigger and bigger. 2) I don't think I'd ever seen my collarbones until last July. We are now well aquainted, lol. 3) I reversed the fat rolls that were developing around my elbows(!!!!!). I am happy to report that not only are they gone, but my arms now…

I'm mostly losing that way. My weight is more likely to increase in the weeks before my period than anything. Then my period hits, and I either lose then or the week after.Typically drop 1 to 3 lbs.

I couldn't buy any clothing in regular stores when I started. I'm generally a medium, size 8-10 or 28-30 in pants.

Weighed myself at a New Year's Even party, a few minutes after midnight. I thought I was looking pretty good that night, considering how fat I'd felt for the last few years. Turns out I was 220 lbs. It was heart-stopping, and I had to stand at the sink and tell myself to stop crying so I wouldn't make a scene when I went…

I spent years in what might have been a depressive period. At the worst, I strongly suspect I was at or close to 245-250. When I was coming back out of it and actually weighed myself for the first time in years, I was horrified to find I was 220lbs. That was New Year's 2014. Age: 25 Height: 5'3 (at my tallest) SW:220…

Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor and can't speak for anything but random stuff I've read on the internet and my own very limited experience. You SHOULD probably talk to a doctor about this stuff and take everything I say with the understanding that I have no professional knowledge to back it up. You may successfully put on…

Incredible! I need to show this to my mom!

I've lost 25% of my body weight, and when I'm done I'll have lost 45%!

I'd always been overweight, but at one point I was having serious mental issues I never had taken care of and I gained massive amounts of weight; before then I was about 180lbs (but I was younger and spent nearly 12 hours a week playing rugby) and after, while extremely sedentary, ballooned to close to 245lbs at the most.…

25 year old female SW: 220+ CW: 165~ GW: 120 (?) I honestly don't know exactly what weight to aim for. I'm short, with an average-to-small frame, but I'm also built to be muscular and somewhat curvy and I suspect that throws the numbers off somewhat. Tip: like a lot of folks have said, don't eat as healthy as you can…

I've always been over weight, but at my heaviest I think I wore it relatively well because I had large breasts and, you know, a big butt. My butt has just about evaporated, and I genuinely miss it, jiggles and all.

Suddenly realizing that, yes, I may actually have boney knees. That I haven't gotten sick in ages, whereas during my worst years I had several yucky colds and even the stomach flu (something I haven't contracted since I was a child!). My bra strap size has shrunk steadily -people don't believe me when I tell them I'm a 32.…

You may be eating too little! Usually when you lose hair like that it's because of a crash diet. I hope that that isn't the cause, but for the love of your hair, try eating more and getting a variety of nutrients in for a few months to see if you can stop the damage.

Tremendous progress! You're gonna live the life you want and your body won't ever stop you!

Congratulations! I do want to warn you that you may find your weight loss slows down after the initial big 'rush' of water weight loss, as explained in this MFP article: https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/ask-the-dietitian-whats-the-best-carb-protein-and-fat-breakdown-for-weight-loss/ Plateaus are also common, and may simply be…
