I have BIO-X Xtreme Power Whey Isolate. Its about 130 cals per serving if thatsgood for you. The chocolate tastes like chocolate milk. If you go into a fitness store they usually have a samples you can try. That is what I did before choosing this one. Also when you workout you can use the shake to counter balance the…

Wow.. lots of amazing photos here!

I had one last week and returned it. I use it with my iphone and it was draining the battery significantly. Also it had to sync with the Health app which in turn sync'd with MFP.. just an extra step that I didn't have to do with my Apple Watch and took too long. The other issue I had is that it didn't sync steps. However I…

Reporting in from Toronto!

Awesome story. Finally was able to read it and want to just say great job! Thanks for sharing this with us.

Sorry to take so long to reply. Their website has a feature where you could look up the compatibility with the headphones if you need. I just love the foam tips though. I have them on all my headphones.
-
With all of the headphones I've had I've replaced the tips with comply foam tips. You compress them and put them in the ear so they expand and add isolation. It also helps them to stay in the ear when running. Also I love the wireless headphones as well now that I have them. The wires always use to bother me.

Way to go. Keep it up. Its never easy. The weight usually drops off quick at first and gets harder as you get closer to your goals but don't let that discourage you. I'm glad your looking at the next steps as well. That will push you even more. Welcome to the club. Feel free to add me as a friend if your looking for…

I had a goal weight in mind. But as I get closer to it I realise that its not just hard to hit it but my body is changing in other ways. For example, I building more muscle now and even though my clothes have been getting looser my weight hasn't really moved as much as I though. So I think the BF% is what has been dropping…

Another alternative to watch is the Microsoft Band 2. Was just announced this week and they are taking pre orders. I'm really loving what it can do and seriously considering it. Its a little cheaper than the apple watch but more expensive than the others mentioned. But it can do a lot more.

I agree a lot with what others have already said. If you really like you shoes try and find the exact same and you will be happy. However if you can't find the same shoes don't have your mind stuck on that brand/model. Even though its the newer version of the same shoe it might not feel the same. I had a pair of Nike (I…

I'm not perfect. I have junk food all over my diary. I have a weakness for cookies. The other day I had a muffin. But I work it into my calories at the end of the day. I work out a lot and try to burn it off. Its my way of enjoying a treat without overdoing it on a "cheat meal" or "cheat day".

Been there done that. I put back on 40lbs and spent the last 4 months taking it back off. Feels so much better to be back. What pushed me was the fact that I couldn't fit into some clothes I enjoyed wearing. It hit me. I went back to the gym and made a schedule that I could keep. Now I'm back into the swing of things. I'll…

If your using a fitbit to measue your perfomance on a treadmill it can be off. They arent exactly accurate especially on a treadmill as I believe it relies on your steps to estimate the distance. It could be possible with the increase in speed you lengthened your stride and the fitbit thought you were going slower. Instead…

I'm in Toronto. Add away.

Welcome, you can modify your initial weight. Under your profile click on "Check-In" and then towards the bottom look for "Edit Previous Entries". That will fix it up for you.
-
If I'm sharing a machine with somebody or spotting somebody, why not. I've gotten advice like that and didn't mind. Otherwise youc an spend all day at the gym correcting people.
-
I can get violent over this. Especially when its my 1 cookie for the day and somebody asks for half. I will walk across the street and buy them their own cookie before giving up my half!
-
When exercising I listen to a lot of podcasts and audiobooks. I am for things that I have to focus on and not just be background music. This helps me to keep my focus off the cardio and makes the time fly by fast. The gym is a good time to catch up on the latest news for me.

What a difference.. Nice job!
-
Good luck on the journey. Feel free to add me.

We are all in this together. Added. Others can add me if they would like to strengthen their circles.

I use it religiously since I got it in may. One thing I like about it is that I can easily see where my heart rate is at while running. The days when I want to work out in a certain zone I can easily adjust my speed as needed. I also see over time how my HR is lower as I go faster which means increased fitness.
-
Its pretty easy once you find the right foods. And if you go to the gym and work out you will get extra calories on top of that. Don't stress about it.

Here's a good read from the MFP blog. https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/the-dos-and-donts-of-an-effective-elliptical-workout/ From my personal experience, I used the elliptical when I first started. I made sure ever time I got off it my shirt was soaking wet. I see people on it chugging away without breaking a sweat while…

Good job. Keep it up.

The downside is my other watches barely get worn.
-
This goes to show that your never too old to do it. And also how important eating is to weight loss. Excellent results.

When I had my fitbit I noticed MFP had some smarts to not double count calories. For example, if I played basketball and had my fitbit on me, I would then log the basketball session and it would actually subtract it from my fitbit calories. So I eventually would see two entries, 1 for basketball and another for the fitbit…
